Ar-Ra`d The Thunder
﷽
المر ۚ تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ ۗ وَالَّذِي أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ الْحَقُّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ 1
Translation
Alif Laam Mim Ra These (are) the Verses (of) the Book And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord (is) the truth but most (of) the mankind (do) not believe
Transliteration
'Alif-Lām-Mīm-Rā Tilka 'Āyātu Al-Kitābi Wa Al-Ladhī 'Unzila 'Ilayka Min Rabbika Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Lakinna 'Akthara An-Nāsi Lā Yu'uminūna
اللَّهُ الَّذِي رَفَعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ يَجْرِي لِأَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ 2
Translation
Allah (is) the One Who raised the heavens without pillars that you see then He established on the Throne and subjected the sun and the moon each running for a term appointed He arranges the matter; He details the Signs so that you may in the meeting (with) your Lord believe with certainty
Transliteration
Allāhu Al-Ladhī Rafa`a As-Samāwāti Bighayri `Amadin Tarawnahā Thumma Astawá `Alá Al-`Arshi Wa Sakhkhara Ash-Shamsa Wa Al-Qamara Kullun Yajrī Li'jalin Musammáan Yudabbiru Al-'Amra Yufaşşilu Al-'Āyāti La`allakum Biliqā'i Rabbikum Tūqinūna
وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَدَّ الْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ وَأَنْهَارًا ۖ وَمِنْ كُلِّ الثَّمَرَاتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ ۖ يُغْشِي اللَّيْلَ النَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ 3
Translation
And He (is) the One Who spread the earth and placed in it firm mountains and rivers and from all (of) the fruits He made in it pairs two He covers the night (with) the day Indeed in that surely (are) Signs for a people who ponder
Transliteration
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Madda Al-'Arđa Wa Ja`ala Fīhā Rawāsiya Wa 'Anhārāan Wa Min Kulli Ath-Thamarāti Ja`ala Fīhā Zawjayni Athnayni Yughshī Al-Layla An-Nahāra 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Liqawmin Yatafakkarūna
وَفِي الْأَرْضِ قِطَعٌ مُتَجَاوِرَاتٌ وَجَنَّاتٌ مِنْ أَعْنَابٍ وَزَرْعٌ وَنَخِيلٌ صِنْوَانٌ وَغَيْرُ صِنْوَانٍ يُسْقَىٰ بِمَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ وَنُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَهَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فِي الْأُكُلِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِقَوْمٍ يَعْقِلُونَ 4
Translation
And in the earth are tracks neighboring and gardens of grapevines and crops and date-palms trees (growing) from a single root and not trees (growing) from a single root watered with water one but We cause to exceed some of them over others in the fruit Indeed in that surely (are) Signs for a people who use reason
Transliteration
Wa Fī Al-'Arđi Qiţa`un Mutajāwirātun Wa Jannātun Min 'A`nābin Wa Zar`un Wa Nakhīlun Şinwānun Wa Ghayru Şinwānin Yusqá Bimā'in Wāĥidin Wa Nufađđilu Ba`đahā `Alá Ba`đin Fī Al-'Ukuli 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin Liqawmin Ya`qilūna
۞ وَإِنْ تَعْجَبْ فَعَجَبٌ قَوْلُهُمْ أَإِذَا كُنَّا تُرَابًا أَإِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ الْأَغْلَالُ فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ 5
Translation
And if you (are) astonished then astonishing (is) their saying When we are dust will we (be) indeed in a creation new Those (are) the ones who disbelieved in their Lord and those the iron chains (will be) in their necks those (are the) companions (of) the Fire they in it (will) abide forever
Transliteration
Wa 'In Ta`jab Fa`ajabun Qawluhum 'A'idhā Kunnā Turābāan 'A'innā Lafī Khalqin Jadīdin 'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Birabbihim Wa 'Ūlā'ika Al-'Aghlālu Fī 'A`nāqihim Wa 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu An-Nāri Hum Fīhā Khālidūna
وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ الْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمُ الْمَثُلَاتُ ۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلْمِهِمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ 6
Translation
And they ask you to hasten the evil before the good and verily has occurred from before them [the] similar punishments And indeed your Lord (is) full (of) forgiveness for mankind for their wrongdoing and indeed your Lord (is) severe (in) the penalty
Transliteration
Wa Yasta`jilūnaka Bis-Sayyi'ati Qabla Al-Ĥasanati Wa Qad Khalat Min Qablihimu Al-Mathulātu Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Ladhū Maghfiratin Lilnnāsi `Alá Žulmihim Wa 'Inna Rabbaka Lashadīdu Al-`Iqābi
وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۗ إِنَّمَا أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ ۖ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ 7
Translation
And say those who disbelieved Why not has been sent down to him a sign from his Lord Only you (are) a warner and for every people (is) a guide
Transliteration
Wa Yaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lawlā 'Unzila `Alayhi 'Āyatun Min Rabbihi 'Innamā 'Anta Mundhirun Wa Likulli Qawmin Hādin
اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنْثَىٰ وَمَا تَغِيضُ الْأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ ۖ وَكُلُّ شَيْءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِمِقْدَارٍ 8
Translation
Allah knows what carries every female and what fall short the womb and what they exceed And every thing with Him (is) in due proportion
Transliteration
Allāhu Ya`lamu Mā Taĥmilu Kullu 'Unthá Wa Mā Taghīđu Al-'Arĥāmu Wa Mā Tazdādu Wa Kullu Shay'in `Indahu Bimiqdārin
عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْكَبِيرُ الْمُتَعَالِ 9
Translation
Knower (of) the unseen and the witnessed the Most Great the Most High
Transliteration
`Ālimu Al-Ghaybi Wa Ash-Shahādati Al-Kabīru Al-Muta`ālī
سَوَاءٌ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ أَسَرَّ الْقَوْلَ وَمَنْ جَهَرَ بِهِ وَمَنْ هُوَ مُسْتَخْفٍ بِاللَّيْلِ وَسَارِبٌ بِالنَّهَارِ 10
Translation
(It is) same (to Him) [of you] (one) who conceals the speech or (one) who publicizes it and (one) who [he] (is) hidden by night or goes freely by day
Transliteration
SSawā'un Minkum Man 'Asarra Al-Qawla Wa Man Jahara Bihi Wa Man Huwa Mustakhfin Bil-Layli Wa Sāribun Bin-Nahāri
لَهُ مُعَقِّبَاتٌ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ يَحْفَظُونَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ۗ وَإِذَا أَرَادَ اللَّهُ بِقَوْمٍ سُوءًا فَلَا مَرَدَّ لَهُ ۚ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ وَالٍ 11
Translation
For him (are) successive (Angels) from (before) (him) and from and behind him who guard him by (the) command (of) Allah Indeed Allah (does) not change (the condition) of a people until they change what (is) in themselves And when wills Allah for a people misfortune then (there is) no turning away of it and not for them from besides Him any protector
Transliteration
Lahu Mu`aqqibātun Min Bayni Yadayhi Wa Min Khalfihi Yaĥfažūnahu Min 'Amri Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Lā Yughayyiru Mā Biqawmin Ĥattá Yughayyirū Mā Bi'anfusihim Wa 'Idhā 'Arāda Allāhu Biqawmin Sū'āan Falā Maradda Lahu Wa Mā Lahum Min Dūnihi Min Wa A-
هُوَ الَّذِي يُرِيكُمُ الْبَرْقَ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَيُنْشِئُ السَّحَابَ الثِّقَالَ 12
Translation
He (is) the One Who shows you the lightning a fear and a hope and brings up the clouds the heavy
Transliteration
Huwa Al-Ladhī Yurīkumu Al-Barqa Khawfāan Wa Ţama`āan Wa Yunshi'u As-Saĥāba Ath-Thiqāla
وَيُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ وَيُرْسِلُ الصَّوَاعِقَ فَيُصِيبُ بِهَا مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَهُمْ يُجَادِلُونَ فِي اللَّهِ وَهُوَ شَدِيدُ الْمِحَالِ 13
Translation
And glorifies the thunder [with] His praise and the Angels for fear of Him And He sends the thunderbolts and strikes with it whom He wills yet they dispute about Allah And He (is) Mighty (in) Strength
Transliteration
Wa Yusabbiĥu Ar-Ra`du Biĥamdihi Wa Al-Malā'ikatu Min Khīfatihi Wa Yursilu Aş-Şawā`iqa Fayuşību Bihā Man Yashā'u Wa Hum Yujādilūna Fī Allāhi Wa Huwa Shadīdu Al-Miĥāli
لَهُ دَعْوَةُ الْحَقِّ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ لَا يَسْتَجِيبُونَ لَهُمْ بِشَيْءٍ إِلَّا كَبَاسِطِ كَفَّيْهِ إِلَى الْمَاءِ لِيَبْلُغَ فَاهُ وَمَا هُوَ بِبَالِغِهِ ۚ وَمَا دُعَاءُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ 14
Translation
To Him (is) supplication (of) the truth And those whom they invoke besides Him besides Him not they respond to them with a thing except like one who stretches his hands towards water to reach his mouth but not it reaches it And not (is) the supplication (of) the disbelievers but in error
Transliteration
Lahu Da`watu Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Al-Ladhīna Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi Lā Yastajībūna Lahum Bishay'in 'Illā Kabāsiţi Kaffayhi 'Ilá Al-Mā'i Liyablugha Fāhu Wa Mā Huwa Bibālighihi Wa Mā Du`ā'u Al-Kāfirīna 'Illā Fī Đalālin
وَلِلَّهِ يَسْجُدُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَظِلَالُهُمْ بِالْغُدُوِّ وَالْآصَالِ ۩ 15
Translation
And to Allah prostrates whoever (is) in the heavens and the earth willingly or unwillingly and (so do) their shadows in the mornings and in the afternoons
Transliteration
Wa Lillahi Yasjudu Man Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Ţaw`āan Wa Karhāan Wa Žilāluhum Bil-Ghudūwi Wa Al-'Āşāli
قُلْ مَنْ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ قُلِ اللَّهُ ۚ قُلْ أَفَاتَّخَذْتُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ لَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ نَفْعًا وَلَا ضَرًّا ۚ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِي الْأَعْمَىٰ وَالْبَصِيرُ أَمْ هَلْ تَسْتَوِي الظُّلُمَاتُ وَالنُّورُ ۗ أَمْ جَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاءَ خَلَقُوا كَخَلْقِهِ فَتَشَابَهَ الْخَلْقُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ قُلِ اللَّهُ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ 16
Translation
Say Who (is) the Lord (of) the heavens and the earth Say Allah Say Have you then taken from besides Him protectors not they have power for themselves (to) benefit and not (to) harm Say Is equal the blind and the seeing Or is equal the darkness[es] and the light Or they attribute to Allah partners who created like His creation so that seemed alike the creation to them Say Allah (is) the Creator of all things and He (is) the One the Irresistible
Transliteration
Qul Man Rabbu As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Quli Allāhu Qul 'Afāttakhadhtum Min Dūnihi 'Awliyā'a Lā Yamlikūna Li'nfusihim Naf`āan Wa Lā Đarrāan Qul Hal Yastawī Al-'A`má Wa Al-Başīru 'Am Hal Tastawī Až-Žulumātu Wa An-Nūr 'Am Ja`alū Lillāhi Shurakā'a Khalaqū Kakhalqihi Fatashābaha Al-Khalqu `Alayhim Quli Allāhu Khāliqu Kulli Shay'in Wa Huwa Al-Wāĥidu Al-Qahhāru
أَنْزَلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً فَسَالَتْ أَوْدِيَةٌ بِقَدَرِهَا فَاحْتَمَلَ السَّيْلُ زَبَدًا رَابِيًا ۚ وَمِمَّا يُوقِدُونَ عَلَيْهِ فِي النَّارِ ابْتِغَاءَ حِلْيَةٍ أَوْ مَتَاعٍ زَبَدٌ مِثْلُهُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْحَقَّ وَالْبَاطِلَ ۚ فَأَمَّا الزَّبَدُ فَيَذْهَبُ جُفَاءً ۖ وَأَمَّا مَا يَنْفَعُ النَّاسَ فَيَمْكُثُ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَضْرِبُ اللَّهُ الْأَمْثَالَ 17
Translation
He sends down from the sky water and flows the valleys according to their measure and carries the torrent a foam rising And from what they heat [on] it in the fire in order to make ornaments or utensils a foam like it Thus sets forth Allah the truth and the falsehood Then as for the foam it passes away (as) scum and as for what benefits the mankind remains in the earth Thus Allah sets forth Allah sets forth the examples
Transliteration
'Anzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Fasālat 'Awdiyatun Biqadarihā Fāĥtamala As-Saylu Zabadāan Rābīāan Wa Mimmā Yūqidūna `Alayhi Fī An-Nāri Abtighā'a Ĥilyatin 'Aw Matā`in Zabadun Mithluhu Kadhālika Yađribu Allāhu Al-Ĥaqqa Wa Al-Bāţila Fa'ammā Az-Zabadu Fayadh/habu Jufā'an Wa 'Ammā Mā Yanfa`u An-Nāsa Fayamkuthu Fī Al-'Arđi Kadhālika Yađribu Allāhu Al-'Amthāla
لِلَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِرَبِّهِمُ الْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَهُ لَوْ أَنَّ لَهُمْ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا وَمِثْلَهُ مَعَهُ لَافْتَدَوْا بِهِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ سُوءُ الْحِسَابِ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ 18
Translation
For those who responded to their Lord (is) the bliss And for those who (did) not respond to Him if that they had whatever (is) in the earth all and like of it with it surely they would offer ransom with it Those for them (is) a terrible reckoning and their abode (is) Hell and wretched (is) the resting place
Transliteration
Lilladhīna Astajābū Lirabbihimu Al-Ĥusná Wa Al-Ladhīna Lam Yastajībū Lahu Law 'Anna Lahum Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Jamī`āan Wa Mithlahu Ma`ahu Lāftadaw Bihi 'Ūlā'ika Lahum Sū'u Al-Ĥisābi Wa Ma'wāhum Jahannamu Wa Bi'sa Al-Mihādu
۞ أَفَمَنْ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ الْحَقُّ كَمَنْ هُوَ أَعْمَىٰ ۚ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ 19
Translation
Then is (he) who knows that which has been revealed to you from your Lord (is) the truth like (one) who [he] (is) blind Only pay heed men (of) understanding
Transliteration
''Afaman Ya`lamu 'Annamā 'Unzila 'Ilayka Min Rabbika Al-Ĥaqqu Kaman Huwa 'A`má 'Innamā Yatadhakkaru 'Ūlū Al-'Albābi
الَّذِينَ يُوفُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَلَا يَنْقُضُونَ الْمِيثَاقَ 20
Translation
Those who fulfill the covenant (of) Allah and not they break the contract
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna Yūfūna Bi`ahdi Allāhi Wa Lā Yanquđūna Al-Mīthāqa
وَالَّذِينَ يَصِلُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوصَلَ وَيَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ وَيَخَافُونَ سُوءَ الْحِسَابِ 21
Translation
And those who join what (has been) commanded (by) Allah [for it] to be joined and fear their Lord and are afraid (of) the evil the account
Transliteration
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yaşilūna Mā 'Amara Allāhu Bihi 'An Yūşala Wa Yakhshawna Rabbahum Wa Yakhāfūna Sū'a Al-Ĥisābi
وَالَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً وَيَدْرَءُونَ بِالْحَسَنَةِ السَّيِّئَةَ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ 22
Translation
And those who (are) patient seeking (the) Face (of) their Lord and establish the prayer and spend from what We have provided them secretly and publicly and they repel with the good the evil - those for them (is) the final attainment (of) the Home -
Transliteration
Wa Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Abtighā'a Wajhi Rabbihim Wa 'Aqāmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Anfaqū Mimmā Razaqnāhum Sirrāan Wa `Alāniyatan Wa Yadra'ūna Bil-Ĥasanati As-Sayyi'ata 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Uqbá Ad-Dāri
جَنَّاتُ عَدْنٍ يَدْخُلُونَهَا وَمَنْ صَلَحَ مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَزْوَاجِهِمْ وَذُرِّيَّاتِهِمْ ۖ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يَدْخُلُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ بَابٍ 23
Translation
Gardens of Eden they will enter them and whoever (were) righteous among their fathers and their spouses and their offsprings And the Angels will enter upon them from every gate
Transliteration
Jannātu `Adnin Yadkhulūnahā Wa Man Şalaĥa Min 'Ābā'ihim Wa 'Azwājihim Wa Dhurrīyātihim Wa Al-Malā'ikatu Yadkhulūna `Alayhim Min Kulli Bābin
سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ ۚ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ 24
Translation
(Saying) Peace (be) upon you for what you patiently endured And excellent (is) the final attainment (of) the Home
Transliteration
Salāmun `Alaykum Bimā Şabartum Fani`ma `Uqbá Ad-Dāri
وَالَّذِينَ يَنْقُضُونَ عَهْدَ اللَّهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مِيثَاقِهِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَنْ يُوصَلَ وَيُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۙ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمُ اللَّعْنَةُ وَلَهُمْ سُوءُ الدَّارِ 25
Translation
And those who break the covenant (of) Allah from after contracting it and sever what (has been) commanded (by) Allah for it to be joined and spread corruption in the earth Those for them (is) the curse and for them (is) an evil home
Transliteration
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yanquđūna `Ahda Allāhi Min Ba`di Mīthāqihi Wa Yaqţa`ūna Mā 'Amara Allāhu Bihi 'An Yūşala Wa Yufsidūna Fī Al-'Arđi 'Ūlā'ika Lahumu Al-La`natu Wa Lahum Sū'u Ad-Dāri
اللَّهُ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ وَفَرِحُوا بِالْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا فِي الْآخِرَةِ إِلَّا مَتَاعٌ 26
Translation
Allah extends the provision for whom He wills and restricts And they rejoice in the life (of) the world and nothing (is) the life of the world in (comparison to) the Hereafter except an enjoyment
Transliteration
Allāhu Yabsuţu Ar-Rizqa Liman Yashā'u Wa Yaqdiru Wa Fariĥū Bil-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Mā Al-Ĥayāatu Ad-Dunyā Fī Al-'Ākhirati 'Illā Matā`un
وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَوْلَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ آيَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيَهْدِي إِلَيْهِ مَنْ أَنَابَ 27
Translation
And say those who disbelieved Why has not been sent down upon him a Sign from his Lord Say Indeed Allah lets go astray whom He wills and guides to Himself whoever turns back
Transliteration
Wa Yaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lawlā 'Unzila `Alayhi 'Āyatun Min Rabbihi Qul 'Inna Allāha Yuđillu Man Yashā'u Wa Yahdī 'Ilayhi Man 'Anāba
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُمْ بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۗ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ 28
Translation
Those who believed and find satisfaction their hearts in the remembrance (of) Allah No doubt in the remembrance (of) Allah find satisfaction the hearts
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Taţma'innu Qulūbuhum Bidhikri Allāhi 'Alā Bidhikri Allāhi Taţma'innu Al-Qulūbu
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ طُوبَىٰ لَهُمْ وَحُسْنُ مَآبٍ 29
Translation
Those who believed and did righteous deeds blessedness (is) for them and a beautiful place of return
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Ţūbá Lahum Wa Ĥusnu Ma'ābin
كَذَٰلِكَ أَرْسَلْنَاكَ فِي أُمَّةٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهَا أُمَمٌ لِتَتْلُوَ عَلَيْهِمُ الَّذِي أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ وَهُمْ يَكْفُرُونَ بِالرَّحْمَٰنِ ۚ قُلْ هُوَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَإِلَيْهِ مَتَابِ 30
Translation
Thus We have sent you to a nation verily have passed away from before it nations so that you might recite to them what We revealed to you while they disbelieve in the Most Gracious Say He (is) my Lord (there is) no god except Him Upon Him I put my trust and to Him (is) my return
Transliteration
Kadhālika 'Arsalnāka Fī 'Ummatin Qad Khalat Min Qablihā 'Umamun Litatluwa `Alayhimu Al-Ladhī 'Awĥaynā 'Ilayka Wa Hum Yakfurūna Bir-Raĥmani Qul Huwa Rabbī Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa `Alayhi Tawakkaltu Wa 'Ilayhi Matābi
وَلَوْ أَنَّ قُرْآنًا سُيِّرَتْ بِهِ الْجِبَالُ أَوْ قُطِّعَتْ بِهِ الْأَرْضُ أَوْ كُلِّمَ بِهِ الْمَوْتَىٰ ۗ بَلْ لِلَّهِ الْأَمْرُ جَمِيعًا ۗ أَفَلَمْ يَيْأَسِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ لَوْ يَشَاءُ اللَّهُ لَهَدَى النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا ۗ وَلَا يَزَالُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا تُصِيبُهُمْ بِمَا صَنَعُوا قَارِعَةٌ أَوْ تَحُلُّ قَرِيبًا مِنْ دَارِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَأْتِيَ وَعْدُ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ 31
Translation
And if that was any Quran could be moved by it the mountains or could be cloven asunder by it the earth or could be made to speak by it the dead Nay with Allah (is) the command all Then do not know those who believe that if had willed Allah surely, He would have guided all all of the mankind And not will cease those who disbelieve to strike them for what they did a disaster or it settles close from their homes until comes (the) promise (of) Allah Indeed Allah (will) not fail (in) the Promise
Transliteration
Wa Law 'Anna Qur'ānāan Suyyirat Bihi Al-Jibālu 'Aw Quţţi`at Bihi Al-'Arđu 'Aw Kullima Bihi Al-Mawtá Bal Lillāhi Al-'Amru Jamī`āan 'Afalam Yay'asi Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'An Law Yashā'u Allāhu Lahadá An-Nāsa Jamī`āan Wa Lā Yazālu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Tuşībuhum Bimā Şana`ū Qāri`atun 'Aw Taĥullu Qarībāan Min Dārihim Ĥattá Ya'tiya Wa`du Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Lā Yukhlifu Al-Mī`āda
وَلَقَدِ اسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَأَمْلَيْتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ثُمَّ أَخَذْتُهُمْ ۖ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ 32
Translation
And certainly were mocked Messengers from before you but I granted respite to those who disbelieved then I seized them and how was My penalty
Transliteration
Wa Laqadi Astuhzi'a Birusulin Min Qablika Fa'amlaytu Lilladhīna Kafarū Thumma 'Akhadhtuhum Fakayfa Kāna `Iqābi
أَفَمَنْ هُوَ قَائِمٌ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ ۗ وَجَعَلُوا لِلَّهِ شُرَكَاءَ قُلْ سَمُّوهُمْ ۚ أَمْ تُنَبِّئُونَهُ بِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ بِظَاهِرٍ مِنَ الْقَوْلِ ۗ بَلْ زُيِّنَ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مَكْرُهُمْ وَصُدُّوا عَنِ السَّبِيلِ ۗ وَمَنْ يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ 33
Translation
Is then He Who (He) (is) a Maintainer of every soul for what it has earned Yet they ascribe to Allah partners Say Name them Or (do) you inform Him of what not He knows in the earth or of the apparent of the words Nay (is) made fair-seeming to those who disbelieve their plotting and they are hindered from the Path And whoever (by) Allah Allah lets go astray then not for him any guide
Transliteration
''Afaman Huwa Qā'imun `Alá Kulli Nafsin Bimā Kasabat Wa Ja`alū Lillāhi Shurakā'a Qul Sammūhum 'Am Tunabbi'ūnahu Bimā Lā Ya`lamu Fī Al-'Arđi 'Am Bižāhirin Mina Al-Qawli Bal Zuyyina Lilladhīna Kafarū Makruhum Wa Şuddū `Ani As-Sabīli Wa Man Yuđlili Allāhu Famā Lahu Min Hādin
لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَشَقُّ ۖ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَاقٍ 34
Translation
For them (is) a punishment in the life (of) the world and surely the punishment (of) the Hereafter (is) harder And not for them against Allah any defender
Transliteration
Lahum `Adhābun Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa La`adhābu Al-'Ākhirati 'Ashaqqu Wa Mā Lahum Mina Allāhi Min Wāqin
۞ مَثَلُ الْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي وُعِدَ الْمُتَّقُونَ ۖ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۖ أُكُلُهَا دَائِمٌ وَظِلُّهَا ۚ تِلْكَ عُقْبَى الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا ۖ وَعُقْبَى الْكَافِرِينَ النَّارُ 35
Translation
The example of Paradise which (is) promised (to) the righteous flows from underneath it the rivers Its food (is) everlasting and its shade This (is the) end of those who (are) righteous and (the) end (of) the disbelievers (is) the Fire
Transliteration
Mathalu Al-Jannati Allatī Wu`ida Al-Muttaqūna Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru 'Ukuluhā Dā'imun Wa Žilluhā Tilka `Uqbá Al-Ladhīna Attaqaw Wa `Uqbá Al-Kāfirīna An-Nāru
وَالَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَمِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ مَنْ يُنْكِرُ بَعْضَهُ ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَلَا أُشْرِكَ بِهِ ۚ إِلَيْهِ أَدْعُو وَإِلَيْهِ مَآبِ 36
Translation
And those (to) whom We have given them the Book rejoice at what has been revealed to you but among the groups (those) who deny a part of it Say Only I have been commanded that I worship Allah and not I associate partners with Him To Him I call and to Him (is) my return
Transliteration
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Ātaynāhumu Al-Kitāba Yafraĥūna Bimā 'Unzila 'Ilayka Wa Mina Al-'Aĥzābi Man Yunkiru Ba`đahu Qul 'Innamā 'Umirtu 'An 'A`buda Allāha Wa Lā 'Ushrika Bihi 'Ilayhi 'Ad`ū Wa 'Ilayhi Ma'ābi
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَنْزَلْنَاهُ حُكْمًا عَرَبِيًّا ۚ وَلَئِنِ اتَّبَعْتَ أَهْوَاءَهُمْ بَعْدَمَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ مَا لَكَ مِنَ اللَّهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا وَاقٍ 37
Translation
And thus We have revealed it (to be) a judgment of authority (in) Arabic And if you follow their desires after what came to you of the knowledge not for you against Allah any protector and not defender
Transliteration
Wa Kadhalika 'Anzalnāhu Ĥukmāan `Arabīyāan Wa La'ini Attaba`ta 'Ahwā'ahum Ba`damā Jā'aka Mina Al-`Ilmi Mā Laka Mina Allāhi Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Wāqin
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَذُرِّيَّةً ۚ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ لِكُلِّ أَجَلٍ كِتَابٌ 38
Translation
And certainly We sent Messengers from before you and We made for them wives and offspring And not was for a Messenger that he comes with a sign except by the leave (of) Allah For everything (is) a time prescribed
Transliteration
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Rusulāan Min Qablika Wa Ja`alnā Lahum 'Azwājāan Wa Dhurrīyatan Wa Mā Kāna Lirasūlin 'An Ya'tiya Bi'āyatin 'Illā Bi'idhni Allāhi Likulli 'Ajalin Kitābun
يَمْحُو اللَّهُ مَا يَشَاءُ وَيُثْبِتُ ۖ وَعِنْدَهُ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ 39
Translation
(Is) eliminated (by) Allah what He wills and confirms and with Him (is) the Mother (of) the Book (is) the Mother (of) the Book
Transliteration
Yamĥū Allāhu Mā Yashā'u Wa Yuthbitu Wa `Indahu 'Ummu Al-Kitābi
وَإِنْ مَا نُرِيَنَّكَ بَعْضَ الَّذِي نَعِدُهُمْ أَوْ نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ وَعَلَيْنَا الْحِسَابُ 40
Translation
And whether (what) We show you a part (of) what We have promised them or We cause you to die so only on you (is) the conveyance and on Us (is) the reckoning
Transliteration
Wa 'In Mā Nuriyannaka Ba`đa Al-Ladhī Na`iduhum 'Aw Natawaffayannaka Fa'innamā `Alayka Al-Balāghu Wa `Alaynā Al-Ĥisābu
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا نَأْتِي الْأَرْضَ نَنْقُصُهَا مِنْ أَطْرَافِهَا ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَحْكُمُ لَا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهِ ۚ وَهُوَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ 41
Translation
Did not they see that We come (to) the land reducing it from its borders And Allah judges; (there is) no adjuster (of) His Judgment And He (is) Swift (in) the reckoning
Transliteration
'Awalam Yaraw 'Annā Na'tī Al-'Arđa Nanquşuhā Min 'Aţrāfihā Wa Allāhu Yaĥkumu Lā Mu`aqqiba Liĥukmihi Wa Huwa Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi
وَقَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَلِلَّهِ الْمَكْرُ جَمِيعًا ۖ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ ۗ وَسَيَعْلَمُ الْكُفَّارُ لِمَنْ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ 42
Translation
And certainly plotted those who (were) from before them but for Allah (is) the plot all He knows what earns every soul and will know the disbelievers for whom (is) the final the home
Transliteration
Wa Qad Makara Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Falillāhi Al-Makru Jamī`āan Ya`lamu Mā Taksibu Kullu Nafsin Wa Saya`lamu Al-Kuffāru Liman `Uqbá Ad-Dāri
وَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَسْتَ مُرْسَلًا ۚ قُلْ كَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ شَهِيدًا بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ وَمَنْ عِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ الْكِتَابِ 43
Translation
And say those who disbelieve You are not a Messenger Say Sufficient (is) Allah (as) a Witness between me and between you and whoever [he] has knowledge (of) the Book
Transliteration
Wa Yaqūlu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lasta Mursalāan Qul Kafá Billāhi Shahīdāan Baynī Wa Baynakum Wa Man `Indahu `Ilmu Al-Kitābi
