Translation
Alif Laam Meem
Transliteration
'Alif-Lām-Mīm
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ 2
Translation
Allah - (there is) no God except Him the Ever-Living the Sustainer of all that exists
Transliteration
Allāhu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-Ĥayyu Al-Qayyūmu
نَزَّلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ مُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَأَنْزَلَ التَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ 3
Translation
He revealed to you the Book in [the] truth confirming that which (was) before it and He revealed the Taurat and the Injeel
Transliteration
Nazzala `Alayka Al-Kitāba Bil-Ĥaqqi Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayhi Wa 'Anzala At-Tawrāata Wa Al-'Injīla
مِنْ قَبْلُ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَأَنْزَلَ الْفُرْقَانَ ۗ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ شَدِيدٌ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ ذُو انْتِقَامٍ 4
Translation
From before (this) (as) guidance for the mankind And (He) revealed the Criterion Verily those who disbelieve[d] in (the) Verses (of) Allah for them (is) a punishment severe And Allah (is) All-Mighty All-Able (of) retribution
Transliteration
Min Qablu Hudáan Lilnnāsi Wa 'Anzala Al-Furqāna 'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bi'āyāti Allāhi Lahum `Adhābun Shadīdun Wa Allāhu `Azīzun Dhū Antiqāmin
إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَخْفَىٰ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ 5
Translation
Indeed Allah - not is hidden from Him anything in the earth and not in the heaven
Transliteration
'Inna Allāha Lā Yakhfá `Alayhi Shay'un Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Lā Fī As-Samā'i
هُوَ الَّذِي يُصَوِّرُكُمْ فِي الْأَرْحَامِ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ ۚ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ 6
Translation
He (is) the One Who shapes you in the wombs how(ever) He wills (There is) no god except Him the All-Mighty the All-Wise
Transliteration
Huwa Al-Ladhī Yuşawwirukum Fī Al-'Arĥāmi Kayfa Yashā'u Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu
هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ ۗ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ زَيْغٌ فَيَتَّبِعُونَ مَا تَشَابَهَ مِنْهُ ابْتِغَاءَ الْفِتْنَةِ وَابْتِغَاءَ تَأْوِيلِهِ ۗ وَمَا يَعْلَمُ تَأْوِيلَهُ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۗ وَالرَّاسِخُونَ فِي الْعِلْمِ يَقُولُونَ آمَنَّا بِهِ كُلٌّ مِنْ عِنْدِ رَبِّنَا ۗ وَمَا يَذَّكَّرُ إِلَّا أُولُو الْأَلْبَابِ 7
Translation
He (is) the One Who revealed to you the Book of it (are) Verses absolutely clear they (are) the foundation (of) the Book and others (are) allegorical Then as for those in their hearts (is) perversity [so] they follow what (is) allegorical of it seeking [the] discord and seeking its interpretation And not knows its interpretation except Allah And those firm in [the] knowledge they say We believe in it All (is) from our Lord And not will take heed except men (of) understanding
Transliteration
Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Anzala `Alayka Al-Kitāba Minhu 'Āyātun Muĥkamātun Hunna 'Ummu Al-Kitābi Wa 'Ukharu Mutashābihātun Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Fī Qulūbihim Zayghun Fayattabi`ūna Mā Tashābaha Minhu Abtighā'a Al-Fitnati Wa Abtighā'a Ta'wīlihi Wa Mā Ya`lamu Ta'wīlahu 'Illā Allāhu Wa Ar-Rāsikhūna Fī Al-`Ilmi Yaqūlūna 'Āmannā Bihi Kullun Min `Indi Rabbinā Wa Mā Yadhdhakkaru 'Illā 'Ūlū Al-'Albābi
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ 8
Translation
Our Lord! (Do) not deviate our hearts after [when] You (have) guided us and grant (for) us from Yourself mercy Indeed You You (are) the Bestower
Transliteration
Rabbanā Lā Tuzigh Qulūbanā Ba`da 'Idh Hadaytanā Wa Hab Lanā Min Ladunka Raĥmatan 'Innaka 'Anta Al-Wahhābu
رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ 9
Translation
Our Lord! Indeed You will gather [the] mankind on a Day (there is) no doubt in it Indeed Allah (does) not break the Promise
Transliteration
Rabbanā 'Innaka Jāmi`u An-Nāsi Liyawmin Lā Rayba Fīhi 'Inna Allāha Lā Yukhlifu Al-Mī`āda
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمْ وَقُودُ النَّارِ 10
Translation
Indeed those who disbelieve[d] never will avail [for] them their wealth and not their children against Allah anything and those - they (are) (the) fuel (for) the Fire
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lan Tughniya `Anhum 'Amwāluhum Wa Lā 'Awlāduhum Mina Allāhi Shay'āan Wa 'Ūlā'ika Hum Wa Qūdu An-Nāri
كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ 11
Translation
Like behavior (of the) people (of) Firaun and those who (were) from before them They denied Our Signs so seized them Allah for their sins And Allah (is) severe (in) [the] punishment
Transliteration
KKada'bi 'Āli Fir`awna Wa Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Kadhdhabū Bi'āyātinā Fa'akhadhahumu Allāhu Bidhunūbihim Wa Allāhu Shadīdu Al-`Iqābi
قُلْ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا سَتُغْلَبُونَ وَتُحْشَرُونَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ ۚ وَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ 12
Translation
Say to those who disbelieve[d] You will be overcome and you will be gathered to Hell [and] an evil [the] resting place
Transliteration
Qul Lilladhīna Kafarū Satughlabūna Wa Tuĥsharūna 'Ilá Jahannama Wa Bi'sa Al-Mihādu
قَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ آيَةٌ فِي فِئَتَيْنِ الْتَقَتَا ۖ فِئَةٌ تُقَاتِلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَأُخْرَىٰ كَافِرَةٌ يَرَوْنَهُمْ مِثْلَيْهِمْ رَأْيَ الْعَيْنِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يُؤَيِّدُ بِنَصْرِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِأُولِي الْأَبْصَارِ 13
Translation
Surely it was for you a sign in (the) two hosts which met one group fighting in (the) way (of) Allah and another disbelievers They were seeing them twice of them with the sight (of) their eyes And Allah supports with His help whom He wills Indeed in that surely (is) a lesson for the owners (of) vision
Transliteration
QQad Kāna Lakum 'Āyatun Fī Fi'atayni At-Taqatā Fi'atun Tuqātilu Fī Sabīli Allāhi Wa 'Ukhrá Kāfiratun Yarawnahum Mithlayhim Ra'ya Al-`Ayni Wa Allāhu Yu'uayyidu Binaşrihi Man Yashā'u 'Inna Fī Dhālika La`ibratan Li'wlī Al-'Abşāri
زُيِّنَ لِلنَّاسِ حُبُّ الشَّهَوَاتِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْبَنِينَ وَالْقَنَاطِيرِ الْمُقَنْطَرَةِ مِنَ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَالْخَيْلِ الْمُسَوَّمَةِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ وَالْحَرْثِ ۗ ذَٰلِكَ مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَاللَّهُ عِنْدَهُ حُسْنُ الْمَآبِ 14
Translation
[It is] beautified for mankind (is) love (of) the (things they) desire - of [the] women and [the] sons and [the] heaps [the] stored up of [the] gold and [the] silver and [the] horses [the] branded and [the] cattle and [the] tilled land That (is) provision (of) life (of) the world but Allah - with Him (is an) excellent [the] abode to return
Transliteration
Zuyyina Lilnnāsi Ĥubbu Ash-Shahawāti Mina An-Nisā' Wa Al-Banīna Wa Al-Qanāţīri Al-Muqanţarati Mina Adh-Dhahabi Wa Al-Fiđđati Wa Al-Khayli Al-Musawwamati Wa Al-'An`āmi Wa Al-Ĥarthi Dhālika Matā`u Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Allāhu `Indahu Ĥusnu Al-Ma'ābi
۞ قُلْ أَؤُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخَيْرٍ مِنْ ذَٰلِكُمْ ۚ لِلَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَأَزْوَاجٌ مُطَهَّرَةٌ وَرِضْوَانٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ 15
Translation
Say Shall I inform you of better than that For those who fear[ed] with their Lord (are) Gardens flows from underneath them [the] rivers - abiding forever in it and spouses pure and approval from Allah And Allah (is) All-Seer of (His) slaves
Transliteration
Qul 'A'uunabbi'ukum Bikhayrin Min Dhālikum Lilladhīna Attaqaw `Inda Rabbihim Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Wa 'Azwājun Muţahharatun Wa Riđwānun Mina Allāhi Wa Allāhu Başīrun Bil-`Ibādi
الَّذِينَ يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا إِنَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ 16
Translation
Those who say Our Lord! Indeed we (have) believed so forgive for us our sins and save us (from) punishment (of) the Fire
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna Yaqūlūna Rabbanā 'Innanā 'Āmannā Fāghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa Qinā `Adhāba An-Nāri
الصَّابِرِينَ وَالصَّادِقِينَ وَالْقَانِتِينَ وَالْمُنْفِقِينَ وَالْمُسْتَغْفِرِينَ بِالْأَسْحَارِ 17
Translation
The patient and the truthful and the obedient and those who spend and those who seek forgiveness [in the] before dawn
Transliteration
Aş-Şābirīna Wa Aş-Şādiqīna Wa Al-Qānitīna Wa Al-Munfiqīna Wa Al-Mustaghfirīna Bil-'Asĥāri
شَهِدَ اللَّهُ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ وَأُولُو الْعِلْمِ قَائِمًا بِالْقِسْطِ ۚ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ 18
Translation
Bears witness Allah that [He] (there is) no god except Him and (so do) the Angels and owners (of) [the] knowledge standing in justice (There is) no god except Him the All-Mighty the All-Wise
Transliteration
SShahida Allāhu 'Annahu Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Wa Al-Malā'ikatu Wa 'Ūlū Al-`Ilmi Qā'imāan Bil-Qisţi Lā 'Ilāha 'Illā Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu
إِنَّ الدِّينَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الْإِسْلَامُ ۗ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْعِلْمُ بَغْيًا بَيْنَهُمْ ۗ وَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسَابِ 19
Translation
Indeed the religion near Allah (is) Islam And not differed those who were given the Book except from after [what] came to them [the] knowledge out of envy among them And whoever disbelieves in (the) Verses (of) Allah then indeed Allah (is) swift (in taking) account
Transliteration
'Inna Ad-Dīna `Inda Allāhi Al-'Islāmu Wa Mā Akhtalafa Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba 'Illā Min Ba`di Mā Jā'ahumu Al-`Ilmu Baghyāan Baynahum Wa Man Yakfur Bi'āyāti Allāhi Fa'inna Allāha Sarī`u Al-Ĥisābi
فَإِنْ حَاجُّوكَ فَقُلْ أَسْلَمْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّهِ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِ ۗ وَقُلْ لِلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ وَالْأُمِّيِّينَ أَأَسْلَمْتُمْ ۚ فَإِنْ أَسْلَمُوا فَقَدِ اهْتَدَوْا ۖ وَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ 20
Translation
Then if they argue with you then say I have submitted myself to Allah and (those) who follow me And say to those who were given the Book and the unlettered people Have you submitted yourselves Then if they submit then surely they are guided But if they turn back then only on you (is) to [the] convey And Allah (is) All-Seer of [His] slaves
Transliteration
Fa'in Ĥājjūka Faqul 'Aslamtu Wajhiya Lillāhi Wa Mani Attaba`ani Wa Qul Lilladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Wa Al-'Ummīyīna 'A'aslamtum Fa'in 'Aslamū Faqadi Ahtadaw Wa 'In Tawallaw Fa'innamā `Alayka Al-Balāghu Wa Allāhu Başīrun Bil-`Ibādi
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ النَّبِيِّينَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الَّذِينَ يَأْمُرُونَ بِالْقِسْطِ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ 21
Translation
Indeed those who disbelieve in (the) Signs (of) Allah and they kill the Prophets without right and they kill those who order [with] justice among the people then give them tidings of a punishment painful
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yakfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Yaqtulūna An-Nabīyīna Bighayri Ĥaqqin Wa Yaqtulūna Al-Ladhīna Ya'murūna Bil-Qisţi Mina An-Nāsi Fabashshirhum Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin
أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ 22
Translation
Those (are) the ones who - became worthless their deeds in the world and (in) the Hereafter And not (will be) for them any helpers
Transliteration
''Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Ĥabiţat 'A`māluhum Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Mā Lahum Min Nāşirīna
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا نَصِيبًا مِنَ الْكِتَابِ يُدْعَوْنَ إِلَىٰ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّىٰ فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ وَهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ 23
Translation
Have not you seen [to] those who were given a portion of the Scripture They are invited to (the) Book (of) Allah that (it should) arbitrate between them then turns away a party of them and they (are) those who are averse
Transliteration
'Alam Tara 'Ilá Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Naşībāan Mina Al-Kitābi Yud`awna 'Ilá Kitābi Allāhi Liyaĥkuma Baynahum Thumma Yatawallá Farīqun Minhum Wa Hum Mu`riđūna
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ إِلَّا أَيَّامًا مَعْدُودَاتٍ ۖ وَغَرَّهُمْ فِي دِينِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ 24
Translation
That (is) because they say Never will touch us the Fire except (for) days numbered And deceived them in their religion what they were inventing
Transliteration
Dhālika Bi'annahum Qālū Lan Tamassanā An-Nāru 'Illā 'Ayyāmāan Ma`dūdātin Wa Gharrahum Fī Dīnihim Mā Kānū Yaftarūna
فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جَمَعْنَاهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَوُفِّيَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ 25
Translation
Then how (will it be) when We will gather them on a Day - no doubt in it And will be paid in full every soul what it earned and they (will) not be wronged
Transliteration
Fakayfa 'Idhā Jama`nāhum Liyawmin Lā Rayba Fīhi Wa Wuffiyat Kullu Nafsin Mā Kasabat Wa Hum Lā Yužlamūna
قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتَنْزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَنْ تَشَاءُ ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 26
Translation
Say O Allah! Owner (of) the Dominion You give the dominion (to) whom You will and You take away the dominion from whom You will and You honor whom You will and You humiliate whom You will In Your hand (is all) the good Indeed You (are) on every thing All-Powerful
Transliteration
Quli Al-Lahumma Mālika Al-Mulki Tu'utī Al-Mulka Man Tashā'u Wa Tanzi`u Al-Mulka Mimman Tashā'u Wa Tu`izzu Man Tashā'u Wa Tudhillu Man Tashā'u Biyadika Al-Khayru 'Innaka `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun
تُولِجُ اللَّيْلَ فِي النَّهَارِ وَتُولِجُ النَّهَارَ فِي اللَّيْلِ ۖ وَتُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَتُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ ۖ وَتَرْزُقُ مَنْ تَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ 27
Translation
You cause to enter the night in the day and You cause to enter the day in the night and You bring forth the living from the dead and You bring forth the dead from the living and You give provision (to) whom You will without measure
Transliteration
TTūliju Al-Layla Fī An-Nahāri Wa Tūliju An-Nahāra Fī Al-Layli Wa Tukhriju Al-Ĥayya Mina Al-Mayyiti Wa Tukhriju Al-Mayyita Mina Al-Ĥayyi Wa Tarzuqu Man Tashā'u Bighayri Ĥisābin
لَا يَتَّخِذِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الْكَافِرِينَ أَوْلِيَاءَ مِنْ دُونِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ۖ وَمَنْ يَفْعَلْ ذَٰلِكَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَ اللَّهِ فِي شَيْءٍ إِلَّا أَنْ تَتَّقُوا مِنْهُمْ تُقَاةً ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ ۗ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ الْمَصِيرُ 28
Translation
(Let) not take the believers the disbelievers (as) allies from instead of the believers And whoever does that then not he (has) from Allah [in] anything except that you fear from them (as) a precaution And warns you Allah (of) Himself and to Allah (is) the destination
Transliteration
Lā Yattakhidhi Al-Mu'uminūna Al-Kāfirīna 'Awliyā'a Min Dūni Al-Mu'uminīna Wa Man Yaf`al Dhālika Falaysa Mina Allāhi Fī Shay'in 'Illā 'An Tattaqū Minhum Tuqāatan Wa Yuĥadhdhirukumu Allāhu Nafsahu Wa 'Ilá Allāhi Al-Maşīru
قُلْ إِنْ تُخْفُوا مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ أَوْ تُبْدُوهُ يَعْلَمْهُ اللَّهُ ۗ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 29
Translation
Say Whether you conceal what (is) in your breasts or you disclose it knows it Allah And He knows what (is) in the heavens and what (is) in the earth And Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful
Transliteration
Qul 'In Tukhfū Mā Fī Şudūrikum 'Aw Tubdūhu Ya`lamhu Allāhu Wa Ya`lamu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun
يَوْمَ تَجِدُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ خَيْرٍ مُحْضَرًا وَمَا عَمِلَتْ مِنْ سُوءٍ تَوَدُّ لَوْ أَنَّ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَهُ أَمَدًا بَعِيدًا ۗ وَيُحَذِّرُكُمُ اللَّهُ نَفْسَهُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ رَءُوفٌ بِالْعِبَادِ 30
Translation
(On the) day will find every soul what it did of good presented and what it did of evil it will wish [if] that between itself and between it (evil) (was) a distance great And warns you Allah (against) Himself and Allah (is) Most Kind to (His) [the] slaves
Transliteration
Yawma Tajidu Kullu Nafsin Mā `Amilat Min Khayrin Muĥđarāan Wa Mā `Amilat Min Sū'in Tawaddu Law 'Anna Baynahā Wa Baynahu 'Amadāan Ba`īdāan Wa Yuĥadhdhirukumu Allāhu Nafsahu Wa Allāhu Ra'ūfun Bil-`Ibādi
قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ 31
Translation
Say If you love Allah then follow me will love you Allah and He will forgive for you your sins And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful
Transliteration
Qul 'In Kuntum Tuĥibbūna Allāha Fa Attabi`ūnī Yuĥbibkumu Allāhu Wa Yaghfir Lakum Dhunūbakum Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
قُلْ أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ ۖ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْكَافِرِينَ 32
Translation
Say Obey Allah and the Messenger Then if they turn away then indeed Allah (does) not love the disbelievers
Transliteration
Qul 'Aţī`ū Allāha Wa Ar-Rasūla Fa'in Tawallaw Fa'inna Allāha Lā Yuĥibbu Al-Kāfirīna
۞ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَىٰ آدَمَ وَنُوحًا وَآلَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ 33
Translation
Indeed Allah chose Adam and Nuh and (the) family (of) Ibrahim and (the) family (of) Imran over the worlds
Transliteration
'Inna Allāha Aşţafá 'Ādama Wa Nūĥāan Wa 'Āla 'Ibrāhīma Wa 'Āla `Imrān `Alá Al-`Ālamīna
ذُرِّيَّةً بَعْضُهَا مِنْ بَعْضٍ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ 34
Translation
Descendents some of them from others And Allah (is) All-Hearing All-Knowing
Transliteration
DDhurrīyatan Ba`đuhā Min Ba`đin Wa Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun
إِذْ قَالَتِ امْرَأَتُ عِمْرَانَ رَبِّ إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لَكَ مَا فِي بَطْنِي مُحَرَّرًا فَتَقَبَّلْ مِنِّي ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ 35
Translation
When [she] said (the) wife (of) Imran My Lord! Indeed I [I] vowed to You what (is) in my womb dedicated so accept from me Indeed You You (are) the All-Hearing the All-Knowing
Transliteration
'Idh Qālati Amra'atu `Imrāna Rabbi 'Innī Nadhartu Laka Mā Fī Baţnī Muĥarrarāan Fataqabbal Minnī 'Innaka 'Anta As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu
فَلَمَّا وَضَعَتْهَا قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَضَعْتُهَا أُنْثَىٰ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا وَضَعَتْ وَلَيْسَ الذَّكَرُ كَالْأُنْثَىٰ ۖ وَإِنِّي سَمَّيْتُهَا مَرْيَمَ وَإِنِّي أُعِيذُهَا بِكَ وَذُرِّيَّتَهَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ 36
Translation
Then when she delivered her she said My Lord indeed I [I] (have) delivered [her] a female And Allah knows better [of] what she delivered and is not the male like the female And that I [I] (have) named her Maryam and that I [I] seek refuge for her in You and her offspring from the Shaitaan the rejected
Transliteration
FFalammā Wađa`at/hā Qālat Rabbi 'Innī Wađa`tuhā 'Unthá Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Wađa`at Wa Laysa Adh-Dhakaru Kāl'unthá Wa 'Innī Sammaytuhā Maryama Wa 'Innī 'U`īdhuhā Bika Wa Dhurrīyatahā Mina Ash-Shayţāni Ar-Rajīmi
فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنْبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا ۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا الْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِنْدَهَا رِزْقًا ۖ قَالَ يَا مَرْيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَٰذَا ۖ قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ 37
Translation
So accepted her her Lord with acceptance good and made her grow a growing good and put her in (the) care (of) Zakariya Whenever entered upon her Zakariya [the] prayer chamber he found with her provision He said O Maryam From where for you (is) this She said This (is) from Allah Indeed Allah gives provision (to) whom He wills without measure
Transliteration
FFataqabbalahā Rabbuhā Biqabūlin Ĥasanin Wa 'Anbatahā Nabātāan Ĥasanāan Wa Kaffalahā Zakarīyā Kullamā Dakhala `Alayhā Zakarīyā Al-Miĥrāba Wajada `Indahā Rizqāan Qāla Yā Maryamu 'Anná Laki Hādhā Qālat Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Yarzuqu Man Yashā'u Bighayri Ĥisābin
هُنَالِكَ دَعَا زَكَرِيَّا رَبَّهُ ۖ قَالَ رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً ۖ إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ 38
Translation
There only invoked Zakariya his Lord he said My Lord grant [for] me from Yourself offspring pure Indeed, You (are) All-Hearer (of) the prayer
Transliteration
Hunālika Da`ā Zakarīyā Rabbahu Qāla Rabbi Hab Lī Min Ladunka Dhurrīyatan Ţayyibatan 'Innaka Samī`u Ad-Du`ā'i
فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَىٰ مُصَدِّقًا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ 39
Translation
Then called him the Angels when he (was) standing - praying in the prayer chamber Indeed Allah gives you glad tidings of Yahya confirming [of] a Word from Allah and a noble and chaste and a Prophet among the righteous
Transliteration
Fanādat/hu Al-Malā'ikatu Wa Huwa Qā'imun Yuşallī Fī Al-Miĥrābi 'Anna Allāha Yubashshiruka Biyaĥyá Muşaddiqāan Bikalimatin Mina Allāhi Wa Sayyidāan Wa Ĥaşūrāan Wa Nabīyāan Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna
قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَقَدْ بَلَغَنِيَ الْكِبَرُ وَامْرَأَتِي عَاقِرٌ ۖ قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ اللَّهُ يَفْعَلُ مَا يَشَاءُ 40
Translation
He said My Lord how can (there) be for me a son and verily has reached me [the] old age and my wife (is) [a] barren He said Thus; Allah does what He wills
Transliteration
Qāla Rabbi 'Anná Yakūnu Lī Ghulāmun Wa Qad Balaghaniya Al-Kibaru Wa Amra'atī `Āqirun Qāla Kadhālika Allāhu Yaf`alu Mā Yashā'u
قَالَ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ لِي آيَةً ۖ قَالَ آيَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا رَمْزًا ۗ وَاذْكُرْ رَبَّكَ كَثِيرًا وَسَبِّحْ بِالْعَشِيِّ وَالْإِبْكَارِ 41
Translation
He said My Lord make for me a sign He said your sign (is) that not you will speak (to) the people (for) three days except (with) gestures And remember your Lord much and glorify (Him) in the evening and (in) the morning
Transliteration
Qāla Rabbi Aj`al Lī 'Āyatan Qāla 'Āyatuka 'Allā Tukallima An-Nāsa Thalāthata 'Ayyāmin 'Illā Ramzāan Wa Adhkur Rabbaka Kathīrāan Wa Sabbiĥ Bil-`Ashīyi Wa Al-'Ibkāri
وَإِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَاكِ وَطَهَّرَكِ وَاصْطَفَاكِ عَلَىٰ نِسَاءِ الْعَالَمِينَ 42
Translation
And when said the Angels O Maryam! Indeed Allah (has) chosen you and purified you and chosen you over (the) women (of) the worlds
Transliteration
Wa 'Idh Qālati Al-Malā'ikatu Yā Maryamu 'Inna Allāha Aşţafāki Wa Ţahharaki Wa Aşţafāki `Alá Nisā'i Al-`Ālamīna
يَا مَرْيَمُ اقْنُتِي لِرَبِّكِ وَاسْجُدِي وَارْكَعِي مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَ 43
Translation
O Maryam! Be obedient to your Lord and prostrate and bow down with those who bow down
Transliteration
Yā Maryamu Aqnutī Lirabbiki Wa Asjudī Wa Arka`ī Ma`a Ar-Rāki`īna
ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ أَنْبَاءِ الْغَيْبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيْكَ ۚ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يُلْقُونَ أَقْلَامَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ يَكْفُلُ مَرْيَمَ وَمَا كُنْتَ لَدَيْهِمْ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ 44
Translation
That (is) from (the) news (of) the unseen - We reveal it to you And not you were with them when they cast their pens (as to) which of them takes charge (of) Maryam; and not you were with them when they (were) disputing
Transliteration
Dhālika Min 'Nbā'i Al-Ghaybi Nūĥīhi 'Ilayka Wa Mā Kunta Ladayhim 'Idh Yulqūna 'Aqlāmahum 'Ayyuhum Yakfulu Maryama Wa Mā Kunta Ladayhim 'Idh Yakhtaşimūna
إِذْ قَالَتِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَا مَرْيَمُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكِ بِكَلِمَةٍ مِنْهُ اسْمُهُ الْمَسِيحُ عِيسَى ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ وَجِيهًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمِنَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ 45
Translation
When said the Angels O Maryam! Indeed Allah gives you glad tidings of a word from Him his name (is) the Messiah Isa son (of) Maryam honored in the world and (in) the Hereafter and of those brought near (to Allah)
Transliteration
'Idh Qālati Al-Malā'ikatu Yā Maryamu 'Inna Allāha Yubashshiruki Bikalimatin Minhu Asmuhu Al-Masīĥu `Īsá Abnu Maryama Wajīhāan Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Mina Al-Muqarrabīna
وَيُكَلِّمُ النَّاسَ فِي الْمَهْدِ وَكَهْلًا وَمِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ 46
Translation
And he will speak (to) the people in the cradle and (in) maturity; and (he will be) of the righteous
Transliteration
Wa Yukallimu An-Nāsa Fī Al-Mahdi Wa Kahlāan Wa Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna
قَالَتْ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي وَلَدٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ ۖ قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ اللَّهُ يَخْلُقُ مَا يَشَاءُ ۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ 47
Translation
She said My Lord how is [it] for me a boy and (has) not touch(ed) me any man He said Thus Allah creates what He wills When He decrees a matter then only He says to it Be and it becomes
Transliteration
Qālat Rabbi 'Anná Yakūnu Lī Waladun Wa Lam Yamsasnī Basharun Qāla Kadhāliki Allāhu Yakhluqu Mā Yashā'u 'Idhā Qađá 'Amrāan Fa'innamā Yaqūlu Lahu Kun Fayakūnu
وَيُعَلِّمُهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ 48
Translation
And He will teach him the Book and [the] wisdom and the Taurat and the Injeel
Transliteration
Wa Yu`allimuhu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa At-Tawrāata Wa Al-'Injīla
وَرَسُولًا إِلَىٰ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَنِّي قَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ ۖ أَنِّي أَخْلُقُ لَكُمْ مِنَ الطِّينِ كَهَيْئَةِ الطَّيْرِ فَأَنْفُخُ فِيهِ فَيَكُونُ طَيْرًا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُبْرِئُ الْأَكْمَهَ وَالْأَبْرَصَ وَأُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا تَأْكُلُونَ وَمَا تَدَّخِرُونَ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً لَكُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ 49
Translation
And (make him) a Messenger to (the) Children (of) Israel Indeed I [surely] [I] (have) come (to) you with a sign from your Lord that I [I] design for you from [the] clay like (the) form (of) the bird then I breath into it and it becomes a bird by (the) permission (of) Allah And I cure the blind and the leper and I give life (to) the dead by (the) permission (of) Allah And I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses Indeed in that (is) surely a sign for you if you are believers
Transliteration
Wa Rasūlāan 'Ilá Banī 'Isrā'īla 'Annī Qad Ji'tukum Bi'āyatin Min Rabbikum 'Annī 'Akhluqu Lakum Mina Aţ-Ţīni Kahay'ati Aţ-Ţayri Fa'anfukhu Fīhi Fayakūnu Ţayrāan Bi'idhni Allāhi Wa 'Ubri'u Al-'Akmaha Wa Al-'Abraşa Wa 'Uĥyi Al-Mawtá Bi'idhni Allāhi Wa 'Unabbi'ukum Bimā Ta'kulūna Wa Mā Taddakhirūna Fī Buyūtikum 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyatan Lakum 'In Kuntum Mu'uminyna
وَمُصَدِّقًا لِمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ مِنَ التَّوْرَاةِ وَلِأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي حُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَجِئْتُكُمْ بِآيَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ 50
Translation
And confirming that which (was) before me of the Taurat and so that I make lawful for you some (of) that which was forbidden to you And I (have) come to you with a sign from your Lord So fear Allah and obey me
Transliteration
Wa Muşaddiqāan Limā Bayna Yadayya Mina At-Tawrāati Wa Li'uĥilla Lakum Ba`đa Al-Ladhī Ĥurrima `Alaykum Wa Ji'tukum Bi'āyatin Min Rabbikum Fa Attaqū Allāha Wa 'Aţī`ūni
إِنَّ اللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۗ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ 51
Translation
Indeed Allah (is) my Lord and your Lord so worship Him This (is) the path straight
Transliteration
'Inna Allāha Rabbī Wa Rabbukum Fā`budūhu Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun
۞ فَلَمَّا أَحَسَّ عِيسَىٰ مِنْهُمُ الْكُفْرَ قَالَ مَنْ أَنْصَارِي إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ قَالَ الْحَوَارِيُّونَ نَحْنُ أَنْصَارُ اللَّهِ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَاشْهَدْ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ 52
Translation
Then when perceived Isa from them [the] disbelief he said Who (will be) my helpers to Allah Said the disciples We (will be the) helpers (of) Allah we believe[d] in Allah and bear witness that we (are) Muslims
Transliteration
FFalammā 'Aĥassa `Īsá Minhumu Al-Kufra Qāla Man 'Anşārī 'Ilá Allāhi Qāla Al-Ĥawārīyūna Naĥnu 'Anşāru Allāhi 'Āmannā Billāhi Wa Ash/had Bi'annā Muslimūna
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا بِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ وَاتَّبَعْنَا الرَّسُولَ فَاكْتُبْنَا مَعَ الشَّاهِدِينَ 53
Translation
Our Lord we believe[d] in what You revealed and we follow[ed] the Messenger then write us among the witnesses
Transliteration
Rabbanā 'Āmannā Bimā 'Anzalta Wa Attaba`nā Ar-Rasūla Fāktubnā Ma`a Ash-Shāhidīna
وَمَكَرُوا وَمَكَرَ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ 54
Translation
And they schemed and planned Allah And Allah (is the) best (of) the planners
Transliteration
Wa Makarū Wa Makara Allāhu Wa Allāhu Khayru Al-Mākirīna
إِذْ قَالَ اللَّهُ يَا عِيسَىٰ إِنِّي مُتَوَفِّيكَ وَرَافِعُكَ إِلَيَّ وَمُطَهِّرُكَ مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ۖ ثُمَّ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأَحْكُمُ بَيْنَكُمْ فِيمَا كُنْتُمْ فِيهِ تَخْتَلِفُونَ 55
Translation
When said Allah O Isa Indeed, I (will) take you and raise you to Myself and purify you from those who disbelieve[d] and I will make those who follow[ed] you superior (to) those who disbelieve[d] on (the) Day (of) [the] Resurrection Then to Me (is) your return and I will judge between you about what you were [in it] differing
Transliteration
'Idh Qāla Allāhu Yā `Īsá 'Innī Mutawaffīka Wa Rāfi`uka 'Ilayya Wa Muţahhiruka Mina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Jā`ilu Al-Ladhīna Attaba`ūka Fawqa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Ilá Yawmi Al-Qiyā Mati Thumma 'Ilayya Marji`ukum Fa'aĥkumu Baynakum Fīmā Kuntum Fīhi Takhtalifūna
فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَأُعَذِّبُهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ 56
Translation
Then as for those who disbelieve[d] then I will punish them (with) a punishment severe in the world and (in) the Hereafter And not for them [of] (any) helpers
Transliteration
Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fa'u`adhdhibuhum `Adhābāan Shadīdāan Fī Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhirati Wa Mā Lahum Min Nāşirīna
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَيُوَفِّيهِمْ أُجُورَهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ 57
Translation
And as for those who believe[d] and did [the] righteous deeds then He will grant them in full their reward And Allah (does) not love the wrongdoers
Transliteration
Wa 'Ammā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Fayuwaffīhim 'Ujūrahum Wa Allāhu Lā Yuĥibbu Až-Žālimīna
ذَٰلِكَ نَتْلُوهُ عَلَيْكَ مِنَ الْآيَاتِ وَالذِّكْرِ الْحَكِيمِ 58
Translation
That (is what) We recite [it] to you of the Verses and the Reminder - [the] Wise
Transliteration
Dhālika Natlūhu `Alayka Mina Al-'Āyāti Wa Adh-Dhikri Al-Ĥakīmi
إِنَّ مَثَلَ عِيسَىٰ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ آدَمَ ۖ خَلَقَهُ مِنْ تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ 59
Translation
Indeed (the) likeness (of) Isa near Allah (is) like (the) likeness (of) Adam He created him from dust then He said to him Be and he was
Transliteration
'Inna Mathala `Īsá `Inda Allāhi Kamathali 'Ādama Khalaqahu Min Turābin Thumma Qāla Lahu Kun Fayakūnu
الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ فَلَا تَكُنْ مِنَ الْمُمْتَرِينَ 60
Translation
The truth (is) from your Lord so (do) not be among the doubters
Transliteration
Al-Ĥaqqu Min Rabbika Falā Takun Mina Al-Mumtarīna
فَمَنْ حَاجَّكَ فِيهِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَكَ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ فَقُلْ تَعَالَوْا نَدْعُ أَبْنَاءَنَا وَأَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَنِسَاءَنَا وَنِسَاءَكُمْ وَأَنْفُسَنَا وَأَنْفُسَكُمْ ثُمَّ نَبْتَهِلْ فَنَجْعَلْ لَعْنَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْكَاذِبِينَ 61
Translation
Then whoever argues (with) you concerning it from after what came to you of the knowledge then say Come let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women and ourselves and yourselves then let us pray humbly and [we] invoke (the) curse (of) Allah on the liars
Transliteration
FFaman Ĥājjaka Fīhi Min Ba`di Mā Jā'aka Mina Al-`Ilmi Faqul Ta`ālaw Nad`u 'Abnā'anā Wa 'Abnā'akum Wa Nisā'anā Wa Nisā'akum Wa 'Anfusanā Wa 'Anfusakum Thumma Nabtahil Fanaj`al La`nata Allāhi `Alá Al-Kādhibīna
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْقَصَصُ الْحَقُّ ۚ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ 62
Translation
Indeed this surely it (is) the narration [the] true And (there is) no (of) god except Allah And indeed Allah surely He (is) the All-Mighty the All-Wise
Transliteration
'Inna Hādhā Lahuwa Al-Qaşaşu Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Mā Min 'Ilahin 'Illā Allāhu Wa 'Inna Allāha Lahuwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ĥakīmu
فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِالْمُفْسِدِينَ 63
Translation
And if they turn back then indeed Allah (is) All-Knowing of the corrupters
Transliteration
Fa'in Tawallaw Fa'inna Allāha `Alīmun Bil-Mufsidīna
قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ تَعَالَوْا إِلَىٰ كَلِمَةٍ سَوَاءٍ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلَّا نَعْبُدَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا أَرْبَابًا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُولُوا اشْهَدُوا بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ 64
Translation
Say O People (of) the Book Come to a word equitable between us and between you that not we worship except Allah and not we associate partners with Him anything and not take some of us (to) others (as) lords from besides Allah Then if they turn away then say Bear witness that we (are) Muslims
Transliteration
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Ta`ālaw 'Ilá Kalimatin Sawā'in Baynanā Wa Baynakum 'Allā Na`buda 'Illā Allāha Wa Lā Nushrika Bihi Shay'āan Wa Lā Yattakhidha Ba`đunā Ba`đāan 'Arbābāan Min Dūni Allāhi Fa'in Tawallaw Faqūlū Ash/hadū Bi'annā Muslimūna
يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تُحَاجُّونَ فِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَتِ التَّوْرَاةُ وَالْإِنْجِيلُ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ 65
Translation
O People (of) the Book Why (do) you argue concerning Ibrahim while not was revealed the Taurat and the Injeel except from after him Then why don't you use your intellect
Transliteration
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Tuĥājjūna Fī 'Ibrāhīma Wa Mā 'Unzilati At-Tawrāatu Wa Al-'Injīlu 'Illā Min Ba`dihi 'Afalā Ta`qilūna
هَا أَنْتُمْ هَٰؤُلَاءِ حَاجَجْتُمْ فِيمَا لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلِمَ تُحَاجُّونَ فِيمَا لَيْسَ لَكُمْ بِهِ عِلْمٌ ۚ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ 66
Translation
Here you are - those who argued about what [for] you of it (have some) knowledge Then why (do) you argue about what not for you of it (any) knowledge And Allah knows while you (do) not know
Transliteration
HHā'antum Hā'uulā' Ĥājajtum Fīmā Lakum Bihi `Ilmun Falima Tuĥājjūna Fīmā Laysa Lakum Bihi `Ilmun Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Wa 'Antum Lā Ta`lamūna
مَا كَانَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَٰكِنْ كَانَ حَنِيفًا مُسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ 67
Translation
Not was Ibrahim a Jew and not a Christian and but he was a true Muslim and not he was from the polytheists
Transliteration
Mā Kāna 'Ibrāhīmu Yahūdīyāan Wa Lā Naşrānīyāan Wa Lakin Kāna Ĥanīfāan Muslimāan Wa Mā Kāna Mina Al-Mushrikīna
إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِإِبْرَاهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ وَهَٰذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ 68
Translation
Indeed the best to claim relationship (of) people with Ibrahim (are) those who follow him and this [the] Prophet and those who believe[d] And Allah (is) a Guardian (of) the believers
Transliteration
'Inna 'Awlá An-Nāsi Bi'ibrāhīma Lalladhīna Attaba`ūhu Wa Hadhā An-Nabīyu Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Allāhu Wa Līyu Al-Mu'uminīna
وَدَّتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ لَوْ يُضِلُّونَكُمْ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ 69
Translation
Wished a group from (the) People (of) the Book if they could lead you astray and not they lead astray except themselves and not they perceive
Transliteration
WWaddat Ţā'ifatun Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Law Yuđillūnakum Wa Mā Yuđillūna 'Illā 'Anfusahum Wa Mā Yash`urūn
يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَأَنْتُمْ تَشْهَدُونَ 70
Translation
O People (of) the Book! Why do you deny [in] the Signs (of) Allah while you bear witness
Transliteration
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Takfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa 'Antum Tash/hadūna
يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَلْبِسُونَ الْحَقَّ بِالْبَاطِلِ وَتَكْتُمُونَ الْحَقَّ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ 71
Translation
O People (of) the Book! Why do you mix the truth with the falsehood and conceal the truth while you know
Transliteration
Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Talbisūna Al-Ĥaqqa Bil-Bāţili Wa Taktumūna Al-Ĥaqqa Wa 'Antum Ta`lamūna
وَقَالَتْ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ آمِنُوا بِالَّذِي أُنْزِلَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَجْهَ النَّهَارِ وَاكْفُرُوا آخِرَهُ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ 72
Translation
And said a group of (the) People (of) the Book Believe in what was revealed on those who believe[d] (at the) beginning (of) the day and reject at its end perhaps they may return
Transliteration
Wa Qālat Ţā'ifatun Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi 'Āminū Bial-Ladhī 'Unzila `Alá Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wajha An-Nahāri Wa Akfurū 'Ākhirahu La`allahum Yarji`ūna
وَلَا تُؤْمِنُوا إِلَّا لِمَنْ تَبِعَ دِينَكُمْ قُلْ إِنَّ الْهُدَىٰ هُدَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُؤْتَىٰ أَحَدٌ مِثْلَ مَا أُوتِيتُمْ أَوْ يُحَاجُّوكُمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّكُمْ ۙ قُلْ إِنَّ الْفَضْلَ بِيَدِ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ 73
Translation
And (do) not believe except (the one) who follows your religion Say Indeed the (true) guidance (is the) Guidance (of) Allah lest is given (to) one (the) like (of) what was given to you or they may argue with you near your Lord Say Indeed the Bounty (is) in the Hand (of) Allah He gives it (to) whom He wills and Allah (is) All-Encompassing All-Knowing
Transliteration
Wa Lā Tu'uminū 'Illā Liman Tabi`a Dīnakum Qul 'Inna Al-Hudá Hudá Allāhi 'An Yu'utá 'Aĥadun Mithla Mā 'Ūtītum 'Aw Yuĥājjūkum `Inda Rabbikum Qul 'Inna Al-Fađla Biyadi Allāhi Yu'utīhi Man Yashā'u Wa Allāhu Wāsi`un `Alīmun
يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ 74
Translation
He chooses for His Mercy whom He wills And Allah (is) the Possessor (of) Bounty [the] great
Transliteration
Yakhtaşşu Biraĥmatihi Man Yashā'u Wa Allāhu Dhū Al-Fađli Al-`Ažīmi
۞ وَمِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ مَنْ إِنْ تَأْمَنْهُ بِقِنْطَارٍ يُؤَدِّهِ إِلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ إِنْ تَأْمَنْهُ بِدِينَارٍ لَا يُؤَدِّهِ إِلَيْكَ إِلَّا مَا دُمْتَ عَلَيْهِ قَائِمًا ۗ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَالُوا لَيْسَ عَلَيْنَا فِي الْأُمِّيِّينَ سَبِيلٌ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ 75
Translation
And from (the) People (of) the Book (is he) who if you entrust him with a great amount of wealth he will return it to you And from them (is he) who if you entrust him with a single coin not he will return it to you except that you keep constantly over him standing That (is) because they said Not on us concerning the unlettered people any [way] (accountability) And they say about Allah the lie while they know
Transliteration
Wa Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi Man 'In Ta'manhu Biqinţārin Yu'uaddihi 'Ilayka Wa Minhum Man 'In Ta'manhu Bidīnārin Lā Yu'uaddihi 'Ilayka 'Illā Mā Dumta `Alayhi Qā'imāan Dhālika Bi'annahum Qālū Laysa `Alaynā Fī Al-'Ummīyīna Sabīlun Wa Yaqūlūna `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Wa Hum Ya`lamūna
بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَوْفَىٰ بِعَهْدِهِ وَاتَّقَىٰ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَّقِينَ 76
Translation
Nay whoever fulfills his covenant and fears (Allah) then indeed Allah loves those who fear (Him)
Transliteration
Balá Man 'Awfá Bi`ahdihi Wa Attaqá Fa'inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Muttaqīna
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَشْتَرُونَ بِعَهْدِ اللَّهِ وَأَيْمَانِهِمْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا أُولَٰئِكَ لَا خَلَاقَ لَهُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ وَلَا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَا يَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَا يُزَكِّيهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ 77
Translation
Indeed those who exchange (the) Covenant (of) Allah and their oaths (for) a price little those no share for them in the Hereafter and not will speak to them Allah and not look at them (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection and not purify them and for them (is) a punishment painful
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yashtarūna Bi`ahdi Allāhi Wa 'Aymānihim Thamanāan Qalīlāan 'Ūlā'ika Lā Khalāqa Lahum Fī Al-'Ākhirati Wa Lā Yukallimuhumu Allāhu Wa Lā Yanžuru 'Ilayhim Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Wa Lā Yuzakkīhim Wa Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun
وَإِنَّ مِنْهُمْ لَفَرِيقًا يَلْوُونَ أَلْسِنَتَهُمْ بِالْكِتَابِ لِتَحْسَبُوهُ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنَ الْكِتَابِ وَيَقُولُونَ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَمَا هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ وَيَقُولُونَ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ 78
Translation
And indeed among them surely (is) a group they distort their tongues in (reciting) the Book so that you may think it (is) from the Book and not it (is) from the Book And they say It (is) from Allah But not it (is) from Allah And they say about Allah the lie while they know
Transliteration
Wa 'Inna Minhum Lafarīqāan Yalwūna 'Alsinatahum Bil-Kitābi Litaĥsabūhu Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Mā Huwa Mina Al-Kitābi Wa Yaqūlūna Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi Wa Mā Huwa Min `Indi Allāhi Wa Yaqūlūna `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Wa Hum Ya`lamūna
مَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ أَنْ يُؤْتِيَهُ اللَّهُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحُكْمَ وَالنُّبُوَّةَ ثُمَّ يَقُولَ لِلنَّاسِ كُونُوا عِبَادًا لِي مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَلَٰكِنْ كُونُوا رَبَّانِيِّينَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تُعَلِّمُونَ الْكِتَابَ وَبِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَدْرُسُونَ 79
Translation
Not is for a human that gives him Allah the Book and the wisdom and the Prophethood then he says to the people Be worshippers of me from besides Allah but (would say) Be worshippers of the Lord because you have been teaching the Book and because you have been studying (it)
Transliteration
Mā Kāna Libasharin 'An Yu'utiyahu Allāhu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥukma Wa An-Nubūwata Thumma Yaqūla Lilnnāsi Kūnū `Ibādāan Lī Min Dūni Allāhi Wa Lakin Kūnū Rabbānīyīna Bimā Kuntum Tu`allimūna Al-Kitāba Wa Bimā Kuntum Tadrusūna
وَلَا يَأْمُرَكُمْ أَنْ تَتَّخِذُوا الْمَلَائِكَةَ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ أَرْبَابًا ۗ أَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ 80
Translation
And not he will order you that you take the Angels and the Prophets (as) lords Would he order you to [the] disbelief after [when] you (have become) Muslims
Transliteration
Wa Lā Ya'murakum 'An Tattakhidhū Al-Malā'ikata Wa An-Nabīyīna 'Arbābāan 'Aya'murukum Bil-Kufri Ba`da 'Idh 'Antum Muslimūna
وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ النَّبِيِّينَ لَمَا آتَيْتُكُمْ مِنْ كِتَابٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَاءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُصَدِّقٌ لِمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِ وَلَتَنْصُرُنَّهُ ۚ قَالَ أَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُمْ إِصْرِي ۖ قَالُوا أَقْرَرْنَا ۚ قَالَ فَاشْهَدُوا وَأَنَا مَعَكُمْ مِنَ الشَّاهِدِينَ 81
Translation
And when took Allah covenant (of) the Prophets Certainly, whatever I (have) given you of (the) Book and wisdom then comes to you a Messenger confirming that which (is) with you you must believe in him and you must help him He said Do you affirm and take on that (condition) My Covenant They said We affirm He said Then bear witness and I (am) with you among the witnesses
Transliteration
Wa 'Idh 'Akhadha Allāhu Mīthāqa An-Nabīyīna Lamā 'Ātaytukum Min Kitābin Wa Ĥikmatin Thumma Jā'akum Rasūlun Muşaddiqun Limā Ma`akum Latu'uminunna Bihi Wa Latanşurunnahu Qāla 'A'aqrartum Wa 'Akhadhtum `Alá Dhālikum 'Işrī Qālū 'Aqrarnā Qāla Fāsh/hadū Wa 'Anā Ma`akum Mina Ash-Shāhidīna
فَمَنْ تَوَلَّىٰ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ 82
Translation
Then whoever turns away after that then those they (are) the defiantly disobedient
Transliteration
FFaman Tawallá Ba`da Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Al-Fāsiqūna
أَفَغَيْرَ دِينِ اللَّهِ يَبْغُونَ وَلَهُ أَسْلَمَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ طَوْعًا وَكَرْهًا وَإِلَيْهِ يُرْجَعُونَ 83
Translation
So is (it) other than (the) religion (of) Allah they seek While to Him (have) submitted whatever (is) in the heavens and the earth willingly or unwillingly and towards Him they will be returned
Transliteration
''Afaghayra Dīni Allāhi Yabghūna Wa Lahu 'Aslama Man Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Ţaw`āan Wa Karhāan Wa 'Ilayhi Yurja`ūna
قُلْ آمَنَّا بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنْزِلَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَالْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ 84
Translation
Say We believed in Allah and what (is) revealed on us and what was revealed on Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqub and the descendents and what was given (to) Musa and Isa and the Prophets from their Lord Not we make distinction between any of them and we to Him (are) submissive
Transliteration
Qul 'Āmannā Billāhi Wa Mā 'Unzila `Alaynā Wa Mā 'Unzila `Alá 'Ibrāhīma Wa 'Ismā`īla Wa 'Isĥāqa Wa Ya`qūba Wa Al-'Asbāţi Wa Mā 'Ūtiya Mūsá Wa `Īsá Wa An-Nabīyūna Min Rabbihim Lā Nufarriqu Bayna 'Aĥadin Minhum Wa Naĥnu Lahu Muslimūna
وَمَنْ يَبْتَغِ غَيْرَ الْإِسْلَامِ دِينًا فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَهُوَ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ 85
Translation
And whoever seeks other than [the] Islam (as) religion then never will be accepted from him and he in the Hereafter (will be) from the losers
Transliteration
Wa Man Yabtaghi Ghayra Al-'Islāmi Dīnāan Falan Yuqbala Minhu Wa Huwa Fī Al-'Ākhirati Mina Al-Khāsirīna
كَيْفَ يَهْدِي اللَّهُ قَوْمًا كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِيمَانِهِمْ وَشَهِدُوا أَنَّ الرَّسُولَ حَقٌّ وَجَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ الظَّالِمِينَ 86
Translation
How (shall) guide Allah a people (who) disbelieved after their belief and (had) witnessed that the Messenger (is) true and came to them the clear proofs And Allah (does) not guide the people [the] wrongdoers
Transliteration
Kayfa Yahdī Allāhu Qawmāan Kafarū Ba`da 'Īmānihim Wa Shahidū 'Anna Ar-Rasūla Ĥaqqun Wa Jā'ahumu Al-Bayyinātu Wa Allāhu Lā Yahdī Al-Qawma Až-Žālimīna
أُولَٰئِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ أَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةَ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ 87
Translation
Those - their recompense that on them (is the) curse (of) Allah and the Angels and the people all together
Transliteration
''Ūlā'ika Jazā'uuhum 'Anna `Alayhim La`nata Allāhi Wa Al-Malā'ikati Wa An-Nāsi 'Ajma`īna
خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُونَ 88
Translation
(They will) abide forever in it Not will be lightened for them the punishment and not they will be reprieved
Transliteration
Khālidīna Fīhā Lā Yukhaffafu `Anhumu Al-`Adhābu Wa Lā Hum Yunžarūna
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ تَابُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ وَأَصْلَحُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ 89
Translation
Except those who repent from after that and reform[ed] themselves Then indeed Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful
Transliteration
'Illā Al-Ladhīna Tābū Min Ba`di Dhālika Wa 'Aşlaĥū Fa'inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِيمَانِهِمْ ثُمَّ ازْدَادُوا كُفْرًا لَنْ تُقْبَلَ تَوْبَتُهُمْ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الضَّالُّونَ 90
Translation
Indeed those who disbelieved after their belief then they increased (in) disbelief never will be accepted their repentance and those - they (are) those who have gone astray
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Ba`da 'Īmānihim Thumma Azdādū Kufrāan Lan Tuqbala Tawbatuhum Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Ađ-Đāllūna
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَمَاتُوا وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَنْ يُقْبَلَ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمْ مِلْءُ الْأَرْضِ ذَهَبًا وَلَوِ افْتَدَىٰ بِهِ ۗ أُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ وَمَا لَهُمْ مِنْ نَاصِرِينَ 91
Translation
Indeed those who disbelieve[d] and died while they (are) disbelievers then never will be accepted from any one of them full earth (of) gold [and] (even) if he offered as ransom it Those for them (is) a punishment painful and not (will be) for them from any helpers
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Mātū Wa Hum Kuffārun Falan Yuqbala Min 'Aĥadihim Mil'u Al-'Arđi Dhahabāan Wa Law Aftadá Bihi 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun Wa Mā Lahum Min Nāşirīna
لَنْ تَنَالُوا الْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنْفِقُوا مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ 92
Translation
Never will you attain [the] righteousness until you spend from what you love And whatever you spend of a thing then indeed Allah of it (is) All-Knowing
Transliteration
Lan Tanālū Al-Birra Ĥattá Tunfiqū Mimmā Tuĥibbūna Wa Mā Tunfiqū Min Shay'in Fa'inna Allāha Bihi `Alīmun
۞ كُلُّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلًّا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ إِسْرَائِيلُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تُنَزَّلَ التَّوْرَاةُ ۗ قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِالتَّوْرَاةِ فَاتْلُوهَا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ 93
Translation
All [the] food was lawful for (the) Children (of) Israel except what made unlawful Israel upon himself [from] before [that] (was) revealed the Taurat Say So bring the Taurat and recite it if you are truthful
Transliteration
Kullu Aţ-Ţa`āmi Kāna Ĥillāan Libanī 'Isrā'īla 'Illā Mā Ĥarrama 'Isrā'īlu `Alá Nafsihi Min Qabli 'An Tunazzala At-Tawrāatu Qul Fa'tū Bit-Tawrāati Fātlūhā 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna
فَمَنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ الْكَذِبَ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ 94
Translation
Then whoever fabricates about Allah [the] lie from after that then those they (are) the wrongdoers
Transliteration
FFamani Aftará `Alá Allāhi Al-Kadhiba Min Ba`di Dhālika Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Až-Žālimūna
قُلْ صَدَقَ اللَّهُ ۗ فَاتَّبِعُوا مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ 95
Translation
Say (has) spoken the truth Allah then follow (the) religion (of) Ibrahim (the) upright and not he was of the polytheists
Transliteration
Qul Şadaqa Allāhu Fa Attabi`ū Millata 'Ibrāhīma Ĥanīfāan Wa Mā Kāna Mina Al-Mushrikīna
إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِلْعَالَمِينَ 96
Translation
Indeed (the) first House set up for the mankind (is) the one which (is) at Bakkah blessed and a guidance for the worlds
Transliteration
'Inna 'Awwala Baytin Wuđi`a Lilnnāsi Lalladhī Bibakkata Mubārakāan Wa Hudáan Lil`ālamīna
فِيهِ آيَاتٌ بَيِّنَاتٌ مَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ۖ وَمَنْ دَخَلَهُ كَانَ آمِنًا ۗ وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى النَّاسِ حِجُّ الْبَيْتِ مَنِ اسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا ۚ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنِ الْعَالَمِينَ 97
Translation
In it (are) signs clear standing place (of) Ibrahim and whoever enters it is safe And (due) to Allah upon the mankind (is) pilgrimage (of) the House (for one) who is able to [it] (find) a way And whoever disbelieved then indeed Allah (is) free from need of the worlds
Transliteration
Fīhi 'Āyātun Bayyinātun Maqāmu 'Ibrāhīma Wa Man Dakhalahu Kāna 'Āmināan Wa Lillahi `Alá An-Nāsi Ĥijju Al-Bayti Mani Astaţā`a 'Ilayhi Sabīlāan Wa Man Kafara Fa'inna Allāha Ghanīyun `Ani Al-`Ālamīna
قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا تَعْمَلُونَ 98
Translation
Say O People (of) the Book Why (do) you disbelieve in (the) Verses (of) Allah while Allah (is) a Witness over what you do
Transliteration
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Takfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Allāhu Shahīdun `Alá Mā Ta`malūna
قُلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لِمَ تَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ تَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَأَنْتُمْ شُهَدَاءُ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ بِغَافِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ 99
Translation
Say O People (of) the Book Why (do) you hinder from (the) way (of) Allah (those) who believe[d] seeking (to make) it (seem) crooked while you (are) witnesses And not Allah (is) unaware of what you do
Transliteration
Qul Yā 'Ahla Al-Kitābi Lima Taşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Man 'Āmana Tabghūnahā `Iwajāan Wa 'Antum Shuhadā'u Wa Mā Allāhu Bighāfilin `Ammā Ta`malūna
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيعُوا فَرِيقًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ كَافِرِينَ 100
Translation
O you who believe[d]! If you obey a group from those who were given the Book they will turn you back after your belief (as) disbelievers
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'In Tuţī`ū Farīqāan Mina Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-Kitāba Yaruddūkum Ba`da 'Īmānikum Kāfirīna
وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُهُ ۗ وَمَنْ يَعْتَصِمْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ 101
Translation
And how (could) you disbelieve while [you] is recited upon you (the) Verses (of) Allah and among you (is) His Messenger And whoever holds firmly to Allah then surely he is guided to a path straight
Transliteration
Wa Kayfa Takfurūna Wa 'Antum Tutlá `Alaykum 'Āyātu Allāhi Wa Fīkum Rasūluhu Wa Man Ya`taşim Billāhi Faqad Hudiya 'Ilá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ 102
Translation
O you who believe[d]! Fear Allah (as is His) right (that) He (should) be feared and (do) not die except [while you] (as) Muslims
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Attaqū Allāha Ĥaqqa Tuqātihi Wa Lā Tamūtunna 'Illā Wa 'Antum Muslimūna
وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا ۚ وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَتَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إِخْوَانًا وَكُنْتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ 103
Translation
And hold firmly to (the) rope (of) Allah all together and (do) not be divided And remember (the) Favor (of) Allah on you when you were enemies then He made friendship between your hearts then you became by His Favor brothers And you were on (the) brink (of) pit of the Fire then He saved you from it Thus makes clear Allah for you His Verses so that you may (be) guided
Transliteration
Wa A`taşimū Biĥabli Allāhi Jamī`āan Wa Lā Tafarraqū Wa Adhkurū Ni`mata Allāhi `Alaykum 'Idh Kuntum 'A`dā'an Fa'allafa Bayna Qulūbikum Fa'aşbaĥtum Bini`matihi 'Ikhwānāan Wa Kuntum `Alá Shafā Ĥufratin Mina An-Nāri Fa'anqadhakum Minhā Kadhālika Yubayyinu Allāhu Lakum 'Āyātihi La`allakum Tahtadūna
وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ 104
Translation
And let there be among you [a] people inviting to the good [and] enjoining the right and forbidding from the wrong and those - they (are) the successful ones
Transliteration
Wa Ltakun Minkum 'Ummatun Yad`ūna 'Ilá Al-Khayri Wa Ya'murūna Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Yanhawna `Ani Al-Munkari Wa 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mufliĥūna
وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ ۚ وَأُولَٰئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ 105
Translation
And (do) not be like those who became divided and differed from after what came to them the clear proofs And those for them (is) a punishment great
Transliteration
Wa Lā Takūnū Kālladhīna Tafarraqū Wa Akhtalafū Min Ba`di Mā Jā'ahumu Al-Bayyinātu Wa 'Ūlā'ika Lahum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ ۚ فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ اسْوَدَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ أَكَفَرْتُمْ بَعْدَ إِيمَانِكُمْ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ 106
Translation
(On the) Day would become white (some) faces and would become black (some) faces As for those whose turn black [their] faces Did you disbelieve after your belief Then taste the punishment for what you used to disbelieve
Transliteration
Yawma Tabyađđu Wujūhun Wa Taswaddu Wujūhun Fa'ammā Al-Ladhīna Aswaddat Wujūhuhum 'Akafartum Ba`da 'Īmānikum Fadhūqū Al-`Adhāba Bimā Kuntum Takfurūna
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ ابْيَضَّتْ وُجُوهُهُمْ فَفِي رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ 107
Translation
But as for those whose turn white [their] faces then (they will be) in (the) Mercy (of) Allah they in it (will) abide forever
Transliteration
Wa 'Ammā Al-Ladhīna Abyađđat Wujūhuhum Fafī Raĥmati Allāhi Hum Fīhā Khālidūna
تِلْكَ آيَاتُ اللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَمَا اللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ظُلْمًا لِلْعَالَمِينَ 108
Translation
These (are the) Verses (of) Allah We recite them to you in truth And not Allah wants injustice to the worlds
Transliteration
Tilka 'Āyātu Allāhi Natlūhā `Alayka Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Mā Allāhu Yurīdu Žulmāan Lil`ālamīna
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ 109
Translation
And to Allah (belongs) whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth And to Allah will be returned the matters
Transliteration
Wa Lillahi Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa 'Ilá Allāhi Turja`u Al-'Umūru
كُنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ ۗ وَلَوْ آمَنَ أَهْلُ الْكِتَابِ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ ۚ مِنْهُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ وَأَكْثَرُهُمُ الْفَاسِقُونَ 110
Translation
You are (the) best (of) people raised for the mankind - enjoining the right and forbidding [from] the wrong and believing in Allah And if believed (the) People (of) the Book surely would have been good for them Among them (are) the believers but most of them (are) defiantly disobedient
Transliteration
Kuntum Khayra 'Ummatin 'Ukhrijat Lilnnāsi Ta'murūna Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Tanhawna `Ani Al-Munkari Wa Tu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Law 'Āmana 'Ahlu Al-Kitābi Lakāna Khayrāan Lahum Minhumu Al-Mu'uminūna Wa 'Aktharuhumu Al-Fāsiqūna
لَنْ يَضُرُّوكُمْ إِلَّا أَذًى ۖ وَإِنْ يُقَاتِلُوكُمْ يُوَلُّوكُمُ الْأَدْبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ 111
Translation
Never will they harm you except a hurt And if they fight you they will turn (towards) you the backs then not they will be helped
Transliteration
Lan Yađurrūkum 'Illā 'Adháan Wa 'In Yuqātilūkum Yuwallūkumu Al-'Adbāra Thumma Lā Yunşarūna
ضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الذِّلَّةُ أَيْنَ مَا ثُقِفُوا إِلَّا بِحَبْلٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَحَبْلٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَبَاءُوا بِغَضَبٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَضُرِبَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَسْكَنَةُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَكْفُرُونَ بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ وَيَقْتُلُونَ الْأَنْبِيَاءَ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا عَصَوْا وَكَانُوا يَعْتَدُونَ 112
Translation
Struck on them the humiliation wherever that they are found except with a rope from Allah and a rope from the people And they incurred wrath from Allah and struck on them the poverty That (is) because they used to disbelieve in (the) Verses (of) Allah and they killed the Prophets without right That (is) because they disobeyed and they used to transgress
Transliteration
Đuribat `Alayhimu Adh-Dhillatu 'Ayna Mā Thuqifū 'Illā Biĥablin Mina Allāhi Wa Ĥablin Mina An-Nāsi Wa Bā'ū Bighađabin Mina Allāhi Wa Đuribat `Alayhimu Al-Maskanatu Dhālika Bi'annahum Kānū Yakfurūna Bi'āyāti Allāhi Wa Yaqtulūna Al-'Anbiyā'a Bighayri Ĥaqqin Dhālika Bimā `Aşaw Wa Kānū Ya`tadūna
۞ لَيْسُوا سَوَاءً ۗ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ أُمَّةٌ قَائِمَةٌ يَتْلُونَ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَهُمْ يَسْجُدُونَ 113
Translation
They are not (the) same among (the) People (of) the Book (is) a community standing (and) reciting (the) Verses (of) Allah (in the) hours (of) the night and they prostrate
Transliteration
Laysū Sawā'an Min 'Ahli Al-Kitābi 'Ummatun Qā'imatun Yatlūna 'Āyāti Allāhi 'Ānā'a Al-Layli Wa Hum Yasjudūna
يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَيُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَأُولَٰئِكَ مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ 114
Translation
They believe in Allah and the Day the Last and they enjoin [with] the right and forbid [from] the wrong and they hasten in the good deeds And those (are) from the righteous
Transliteration
Yu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Al-Yawmi Al-'Ākhiri Wa Ya'murūna Bil-Ma`rūfi Wa Yanhawna `Ani Al-Munkari Wa Yusāri`ūna Fī Al-Khayrāti Wa 'Ūlā'ika Mina Aş-Şāliĥīna
وَمَا يَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَلَنْ يُكْفَرُوهُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِالْمُتَّقِينَ 115
Translation
And whatever they do of a good then never will they be denied it And Allah (is) All-Knowing of the God-fearing
Transliteration
Wa Mā Yaf`alū Min Khayrin Falan Yukfarūhu Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Bil-Muttaqīna
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۚ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ 116
Translation
Indeed those who disbelieved never will avail [for] them their wealth and not their children against Allah anything and those (are the) companions (of) the Fire they in it (will) abide forever
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lan Tughniya `Anhum 'Amwāluhum Wa Lā 'Awlāduhum Mina Allāhi Shay'āan Wa 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu An-Nāri Hum Fīhā Khālidūna
مَثَلُ مَا يُنْفِقُونَ فِي هَٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ ۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَلَٰكِنْ أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ 117
Translation
Example (of) what they spend in this [the] life (of) the world (is) like (the) example (of) a wind in it (is) frost it struck (the) harvest (of) a people who wronged themselves then destroyed it And not (has) wronged them Allah [and] but themselves they wronged
Transliteration
Mathalu Mā Yunfiqūna Fī Hadhihi Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Kamathali Rīĥin Fīhā Şirrun 'Aşābat Ĥartha Qawmin Žalamū 'Anfusahum Fa'ahlakat/hu Wa Mā Žalamahumu Allāhu Wa Lakin 'Anfusahum Yažlimūna
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا بِطَانَةً مِنْ دُونِكُمْ لَا يَأْلُونَكُمْ خَبَالًا وَدُّوا مَا عَنِتُّمْ قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَاءُ مِنْ أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَمَا تُخْفِي صُدُورُهُمْ أَكْبَرُ ۚ قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ ۖ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ 118
Translation
O you who believe[d]! (Do) not take (as) intimates from other than yourselves not they will spare you (any) ruin They wish what distresses you Indeed (has become) apparent the hatred from their mouths and what conceals their breasts (is) greater Certainly We made clear for you the Verses if you were (to use) reason
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tattakhidhū Biţānatan Min Dūnikum Lā Ya'lūnakum Khabālāan Wa Ddū Mā `Anittum Qad Badati Al-Baghđā'u Min 'Afwāhihim Wa Mā Tukhfī Şudūruhum 'Akbaru Qad Bayyannā Lakumu Al-'Āyāti 'In Kuntum Ta`qilūna
هَا أَنْتُمْ أُولَاءِ تُحِبُّونَهُمْ وَلَا يُحِبُّونَكُمْ وَتُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْكِتَابِ كُلِّهِ وَإِذَا لَقُوكُمْ قَالُوا آمَنَّا وَإِذَا خَلَوْا عَضُّوا عَلَيْكُمُ الْأَنَامِلَ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ ۚ قُلْ مُوتُوا بِغَيْظِكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ 119
Translation
Lo! You are those you love them but not they love you and you believe in the Book - all of it And when they meet you they say We believe And when they are alone they bite at you the finger tips (out) of [the] rage Say Die in your rage Indeed Allah (is) All-Knowing of what (is in) the breasts
Transliteration
HHā'antum 'Ūlā'i Tuĥibbūnahum Wa Lā Yuĥibbūnakum Wa Tu'uminūna Bil-Kitābi Kullihi Wa 'Idhā Laqūkum Qālū 'Āmannā Wa 'Idhā Khalaw `Ađđū `Alaykumu Al-'Anāmila Mina Al-Ghayži Qul Mūtū Bighayžikum 'Inna Allāha `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri
إِنْ تَمْسَسْكُمْ حَسَنَةٌ تَسُؤْهُمْ وَإِنْ تُصِبْكُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَفْرَحُوا بِهَا ۖ وَإِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْئًا ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ 120
Translation
If touches you a good it grieves them and if strikes you misfortune they rejoice at it And if you are patient and fear (Allah) not will harm you their plot (in) anything Indeed Allah of what they do (is) All-Encompassing
Transliteration
'In Tamsaskum Ĥasanatun Tasu'uhum Wa 'In Tuşibkum Sayyi'atun Yafraĥū Bihā Wa 'In Taşbirū Wa Tattaqū Lā Yađurrukum Kayduhum Shay'āan 'Inna Allāha Bimā Ya`malūna Muĥīţun
وَإِذْ غَدَوْتَ مِنْ أَهْلِكَ تُبَوِّئُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَقَاعِدَ لِلْقِتَالِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ 121
Translation
And when you left early morning from your household to post the believers (to take) positions for the battle And Allah (is) All-Hearing All-Knowing
Transliteration
Wa 'Idh Ghadawta Min 'Ahlika Tubawwi'u Al-Mu'uminīna Maqā`ida Lilqitāli Wa Allāhu Samī`un `Alīmun
إِذْ هَمَّتْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنْكُمْ أَنْ تَفْشَلَا وَاللَّهُ وَلِيُّهُمَا ۗ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ 122
Translation
When inclined two parties among you that they lost heart but Allah (was) their protector And on Allah let put (their) trust the believers
Transliteration
'Idh Hammat Ţā'ifatāni Minkum 'An Tafshalā Wa Allāhu Walīyuhumā Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna
وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللَّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنْتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ 123
Translation
And certainly helped you Allah in Badr while you (were) weak So fear Allah so that you may (be) grateful
Transliteration
Wa Laqad Naşarakumu Allāhu Bibadrin Wa 'Antum 'Adhillatun Fa Attaqū Allāha La`allakum Tashkurūna
إِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَلَنْ يَكْفِيَكُمْ أَنْ يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِثَلَاثَةِ آلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُنْزَلِينَ 124
Translation
When you said to the believers Is it not enough for you that reinforces you your Lord with three thousand[s] [of] [the] Angels [the ones] sent down
Transliteration
'Idh Taqūlu Lilmu'uminīna 'Alan Yakfiyakum 'An Yumiddakum Rabbukum Bithalāthati 'Ālāfin Mina Al-Malā'ikati Munzalīna
بَلَىٰ ۚ إِنْ تَصْبِرُوا وَتَتَّقُوا وَيَأْتُوكُمْ مِنْ فَوْرِهِمْ هَٰذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ بِخَمْسَةِ آلَافٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ 125
Translation
Yes if you are patient and fear (Allah) and they come upon you [of] suddenly [this] will reinforce you your Lord with five thousand[s] [of] [the] Angels [the ones] having marks
Transliteration
Balá 'In Taşbirū Wa Tattaqū Wa Ya'tūkum Min Fawrihim Hādhā Yumdidkum Rabbukum Bikhamsati 'Ālāfin Mina Al-Malā'ikati Musawwimīna
وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ لَكُمْ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ قُلُوبُكُمْ بِهِ ۗ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَكِيمِ 126
Translation
And not made it Allah except (as) good news for you and to reassure your hearts with it And (there is) no [the] victory except from [near] Allah the All-Mighty the All-Wise
Transliteration
Wa Mā Ja`alahu Allāhu 'Illā Bushrá Lakum Wa Litaţma'inna Qulūbukum Bihi Wa Mā An-Naşru 'Illā Min `Indi Allāhi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥakīmi
لِيَقْطَعَ طَرَفًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا أَوْ يَكْبِتَهُمْ فَيَنْقَلِبُوا خَائِبِينَ 127
Translation
That He may cut off a part of those who disbelieved or suppress them so (that) they turn back disappointed
Transliteration
LLiyaqţa`a Ţarafāan Mina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Aw Yakbitahum Fayanqalibū Khā'ibīna
لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَالِمُونَ 128
Translation
Not for you of the decision (of) anything whether He turns to them or punishes them for indeed they (are) wrongdoers
Transliteration
Laysa Laka Mina Al-'Amri Shay'un 'Aw Yatūba `Alayhim 'Aw Yu`adhdhibahum Fa'innahum Žālimūna
وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ يَغْفِرُ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ وَيُعَذِّبُ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ 129
Translation
And to Allah (belongs) what (is) in the heavens and what (is) in the earth He forgives [for] whom He wills and punishes whom He wills And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful
Transliteration
Wa Lillahi Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Yaghfiru Liman Yashā'u Wa Yu`adhdhibu Man Yashā'u Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَأْكُلُوا الرِّبَا أَضْعَافًا مُضَاعَفَةً ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ 130
Translation
O you who believe! (Do) not eat the usury doubled multiplied And fear Allah so that you may (be) successful
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Ta'kulū Ar-Ribā 'Ađ`āfāan Muđā`afatan Wa Attaqū Allāha La`allakum Tufliĥūna
وَاتَّقُوا النَّارَ الَّتِي أُعِدَّتْ لِلْكَافِرِينَ 131
Translation
And fear the Fire which is prepared for the disbelievers
Transliteration
Wa Attaqū An-Nāra Allatī 'U`iddat Lilkāfirīna
وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ 132
Translation
And obey Allah and the Messenger so that you may receive mercy
Transliteration
Wa 'Aţī`ū Allāha Wa Ar-Rasūla La`allakum Turĥamūna
۞ وَسَارِعُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَاوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ 133
Translation
And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a Garden - its width (is like that of) the heavens and the earth prepared for the pious
Transliteration
Wa Sāri`ū 'Ilá Maghfiratin Min Rabbikum Wa Jannatin `Arđuhā As-Samāwātu Wa Al-'Arđu 'U`iddat Lilmuttaqīna
الَّذِينَ يُنْفِقُونَ فِي السَّرَّاءِ وَالضَّرَّاءِ وَالْكَاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَالْعَافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ 134
Translation
Those who spend in [the] ease and (in) the hardship and those who restrain the anger and those who pardon [from] the people - and Allah loves the good-doers
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna Yunfiqūna Fī As-Sarrā'i Wa Ađ-Đarrā'i Wa Al-Kāžimīna Al-Ghayža Wa Al-`Āfīna `Ani An-Nāsi Wa Allāhu Yuĥibbu Al-Muĥsinīna
وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا اللَّهَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا لِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَنْ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَلَمْ يُصِرُّوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ 135
Translation
And those when they did immorality or wronged themselves - they remember Allah then ask forgiveness for their sins - and who (can) forgive the sins except Allah And not they persist on what they did while they know
Transliteration
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Idhā Fa`alū Fāĥishatan 'Aw Žalamū 'Anfusahum Dhakarū Allāha Fāstaghfarū Lidhunūbihim Wa Man Yaghfiru Adh-Dhunūba 'Illā Allāhu Wa Lam Yuşirrū `Alá Mā Fa`alū Wa Hum Ya`lamūna
أُولَٰئِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ 136
Translation
Those - their reward (is) forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens flows from underneath it the rivers abiding forever in it And an excellent reward (for) the (righteous) workers
Transliteration
''Ūlā'ika Jazā'uuhum Maghfiratun Min Rabbihim Wa Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Wa Ni`ma 'Ajru Al-`Āmilīna
قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ سُنَنٌ فَسِيرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ فَانْظُرُوا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ 137
Translation
Verily passed from before you situations then travel in the earth and see how was (the) end (of) the deniers
Transliteration
QQad Khalat Min Qablikum Sunanun Fasīrū Fī Al-'Arđi Fānžurū Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mukadhdhibīna
هَٰذَا بَيَانٌ لِلنَّاسِ وَهُدًى وَمَوْعِظَةٌ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ 138
Translation
This (is) a declaration for the people and guidance and admonition for the God-fearing
Transliteration
Hādhā Bayānun Lilnnāsi Wa Hudáan Wa Maw`ižatun Lilmuttaqīna
وَلَا تَهِنُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَنْتُمُ الْأَعْلَوْنَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ 139
Translation
And (do) not weaken and (do) not grieve and you (will be) [the] superior if you are believers
Transliteration
Wa Lā Tahinū Wa Lā Taĥzanū Wa 'Antumu Al-'A`lawna 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna
إِنْ يَمْسَسْكُمْ قَرْحٌ فَقَدْ مَسَّ الْقَوْمَ قَرْحٌ مِثْلُهُ ۚ وَتِلْكَ الْأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيْنَ النَّاسِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنْكُمْ شُهَدَاءَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الظَّالِمِينَ 140
Translation
If touched you a wound so certainly (has) touched the people wound like it And this [the] days We alternate them among the people [and] so that makes evident Allah those who believe[d] and take from you martyrs And Allah (does) not love the wrongdoers
Transliteration
'In Yamsaskum Qarĥun Faqad Massa Al-Qawma Qarĥun Mithluhu Wa Tilka Al-'Ayyāmu Nudāwiluhā Bayna An-Nāsi Wa Liya`lama Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Yattakhidha Minkum Shuhadā'a Wa Allāhu Lā Yuĥibbu Až-Žālimīna
وَلِيُمَحِّصَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَيَمْحَقَ الْكَافِرِينَ 141
Translation
And so that may purify Allah those who believe and destroy the disbelievers
Transliteration
Wa Liyumaĥĥişa Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Yamĥaqa Al-Kāfirīna
أَمْ حَسِبْتُمْ أَنْ تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ وَلَمَّا يَعْلَمِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا مِنْكُمْ وَيَعْلَمَ الصَّابِرِينَ 142
Translation
Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while has not yet made evident Allah those who strove hard among you and made evident the steadfast
Transliteration
'Am Ĥasibtum 'An Tadkhulū Al-Jannata Wa Lammā Ya`lami Allāhu Al-Ladhīna Jāhadū Minkum Wa Ya`lama Aş-Şābirīna
وَلَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ تَمَنَّوْنَ الْمَوْتَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَلْقَوْهُ فَقَدْ رَأَيْتُمُوهُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ 143
Translation
And certainly you used to wish (for) death from before [that] you met it then indeed you have seen it while you (were) looking on
Transliteration
Wa Laqad Kuntum Tatamannawn Al-Mawta Min Qabli 'An Talqawhu Faqad Ra'aytumūhu Wa 'Antum Tanžurūna
وَمَا مُحَمَّدٌ إِلَّا رَسُولٌ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ الرُّسُلُ ۚ أَفَإِنْ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ ۚ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا ۗ وَسَيَجْزِي اللَّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ 144
Translation
And not (is) Muhammad except a Messenger certainly passed away from before him [the] (other) Messengers So if he died or is slain will you turn back on your heels And whoever turns back on his heels then never will he harm Allah (in) anything And will reward Allah the grateful ones
Transliteration
Wa Mā Muĥammadun 'Illā Rasūlun Qad Khalat Min Qablihi Ar-Rusulu 'Afa'īn Māta 'Aw Qutila Anqalabtum `Alá 'A`qābikum Wa Man Yanqalib `Alá `Aqibayhi Falan Yađurra Allāha Shay'āan Wa Sayajzī Allāhu Ash-Shākirīna
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ كِتَابًا مُؤَجَّلًا ۗ وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَنْ يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الْآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا ۚ وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَ 145
Translation
And not is for a soul that he dies except by (the) permission (of) Allah (at a) decree determined And whoever desires reward (of) the world We will give him thereof and whoever desires reward (of) the Hereafter We will give him thereof And We will reward the grateful ones
Transliteration
Wa Mā Kāna Linafsin 'An Tamūta 'Illā Bi'idhni Allāhi Kitābāan Mu'uajjalāan Wa Man Yurid Thawāba Ad-Dunyā Nu'utihi Minhā Wa Man Yurid Thawāba Al-'Ākhirati Nu'utihi Minhā Wa Sanajzī Ash-Shākirīna
وَكَأَيِّنْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ قَاتَلَ مَعَهُ رِبِّيُّونَ كَثِيرٌ فَمَا وَهَنُوا لِمَا أَصَابَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَا ضَعُفُوا وَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الصَّابِرِينَ 146
Translation
And how many from a Prophet fought with him (were) religious scholars many But not they lost heart for what befell them in (the) way (of) Allah and not they weakened and not they gave in And Allah loves the patient ones
Transliteration
Wa Ka'ayyin Min Nabīyin Qātala Ma`ahu Ribbīyūna Kathīrun Famā Wahanū Limā 'Aşābahum Fī Sabīli Allāhi Wa Mā Đa`ufū Wa Mā Astakānū Wa Allāhu Yuĥibbu Aş-Şābirīna
وَمَا كَانَ قَوْلَهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَإِسْرَافَنَا فِي أَمْرِنَا وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا وَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِينَ 147
Translation
And not were their words except that they said Our Lord forgive for us our sins and our excesses in our affairs and make firm our feet and give us victory against [the people] the disbelievers
Transliteration
Wa Mā Kāna Qawlahum 'Illā 'An Qālū Rabbanā Aghfir Lanā Dhunūbanā Wa 'Isrāfanā Fī 'Amrinā Wa Thabbit 'Aqdāmanā Wa Anşurnā `Alá Al-Qawmi Al-Kāfirīna
فَآتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا وَحُسْنَ ثَوَابِ الْآخِرَةِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ 148
Translation
So gave them Allah reward (in) the world and good reward (in) the Hereafter And Allah loves the good-doers
Transliteration
Fa'ātāhumu Allāhu Thawāba Ad-Dunyā Wa Ĥusna Thawābi Al-'Ākhirati Wa Allāhu Yuĥibbu Al-Muĥsinīna
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تُطِيعُوا الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَلَىٰ أَعْقَابِكُمْ فَتَنْقَلِبُوا خَاسِرِينَ 149
Translation
O you who believe! If you obey those who disbelieve they will turn you back on your heels then you will turn back (as) losers
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'In Tuţī`ū Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yaruddūkum `Alá 'A`qābikum Fatanqalibū Khāsirīna
بَلِ اللَّهُ مَوْلَاكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ النَّاصِرِينَ 150
Translation
Nay Allah (is) your Protector and He (is the) best (of) the Helpers
Transliteration
Bali Allāhu Mawlākum Wa Huwa Khayru An-Nāşirīna
سَنُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ بِمَا أَشْرَكُوا بِاللَّهِ مَا لَمْ يُنَزِّلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا ۖ وَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ ۚ وَبِئْسَ مَثْوَى الظَّالِمِينَ 151
Translation
We will cast in (the) hearts (of) those who disbelieve [the] terror because they associated partners with Allah what not He sent down about it any authority and their refuge (will be) the Fire and wretched (is the) abode [of] the wrongdoers
Transliteration
SSanulqī Fī Qulūbi Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Ar-Ru`ba Bimā 'Ashrakū Billāhi Mā Lam Yunazzil Bihi Sulţānāan Wa Ma'wāhumu An-Nāru Wa Bi'sa Mathwá Až-Žālimīna
وَلَقَدْ صَدَقَكُمُ اللَّهُ وَعْدَهُ إِذْ تَحُسُّونَهُمْ بِإِذْنِهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا فَشِلْتُمْ وَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَعَصَيْتُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أَرَاكُمْ مَا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ مِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُرِيدُ الدُّنْيَا وَمِنْكُمْ مَنْ يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ۚ ثُمَّ صَرَفَكُمْ عَنْهُمْ لِيَبْتَلِيَكُمْ ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا عَنْكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ 152
Translation
And certainly fulfilled to you Allah His promise when you were killing them by His permission until when you lost courage and you fell into dispute concerning the order and you disobeyed from after [what] He (had) shown you what you love Among you (are some) who desire the world and among you (are some) who desire the Hereafter Then He diverted you from them so that He may test you And surely He forgave you And Allah (is the) Possessor (of) Bounty for the believers
Transliteration
Wa Laqad Şadaqakumu Allāhu Wa`dahu 'Idh Taĥussūnahum Bi'idhnihi Ĥattá 'Idhā Fashiltum Wa Tanāza`tum Fī Al-'Amri Wa `Aşaytum Min Ba`di Mā 'Arākum Mā Tuĥibbūna Minkum Man Yurīdu Ad-Dunyā Wa Minkum Man Yurīdu Al-'Ākhirata Thumma Şarafakum `Anhum Liyabtaliyakum Wa Laqad `Afā `Ankum Wa Allāhu Dhū Fađlin `Alá Al-Mu'uminīna
۞ إِذْ تُصْعِدُونَ وَلَا تَلْوُونَ عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ وَالرَّسُولُ يَدْعُوكُمْ فِي أُخْرَاكُمْ فَأَثَابَكُمْ غَمًّا بِغَمٍّ لِكَيْلَا تَحْزَنُوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا مَا أَصَابَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ 153
Translation
When you were running uphill and not casting a glance on anyone while the Messenger was calling you [in] (from) behind you So (He) repaid you (with) distress on distress so that not you grieve over what escaped you and not what (had) befallen you And Allah (is) All-Aware of what you do
Transliteration
'Idh Tuş`idūna Wa Lā Talwūna `Alá 'Aĥadin Wa Ar-Rasūlu Yad`ūkum Fī 'Ukhrākum Fa'athābakum Ghammāan Bighammin Likaylā Taĥzanū `Alá Mā Fātakum Wa Lā Mā 'Aşābakum Wa Allāhu Khabīrun Bimā Ta`malūna
ثُمَّ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ الْغَمِّ أَمَنَةً نُعَاسًا يَغْشَىٰ طَائِفَةً مِنْكُمْ ۖ وَطَائِفَةٌ قَدْ أَهَمَّتْهُمْ أَنْفُسُهُمْ يَظُنُّونَ بِاللَّهِ غَيْرَ الْحَقِّ ظَنَّ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ۖ يَقُولُونَ هَلْ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ كُلَّهُ لِلَّهِ ۗ يُخْفُونَ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ مَا لَا يُبْدُونَ لَكَ ۖ يَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ لَنَا مِنَ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ مَا قُتِلْنَا هَاهُنَا ۗ قُلْ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ فِي بُيُوتِكُمْ لَبَرَزَ الَّذِينَ كُتِبَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَتْلُ إِلَىٰ مَضَاجِعِهِمْ ۖ وَلِيَبْتَلِيَ اللَّهُ مَا فِي صُدُورِكُمْ وَلِيُمَحِّصَ مَا فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ 154
Translation
Then He sent down upon you from after the distress security slumber overcoming a group of you while a group certainly worried [them] (about) themselves thinking about Allah other than the truth (the) thought (of) [the] ignorance saying Is (there) for us from the matter any thing Say Indeed the matter all (of) it (is) for Allah They hide in themselves what not they reveal to you They say if was for us from the matter anything not we would have been killed here Say if you were in your houses surely (would have) come out those who was decreed upon them [the] death towards their places of death And that might test Allah what (is) in your breasts and that He may purge what (is) in your hearts And Allah (is) All-Aware of what (is in) the breasts
Transliteration
TThumma 'Anzala `Alaykum Min Ba`di Al-Ghammi 'Amanatan Nu`āsāan Yaghshá Ţā'ifatan Minkum Wa Ţā'ifatun Qad 'Ahammat/hum 'Anfusuhum Yažunnūna Billāhi Ghayra Al-Ĥaqqi Žanna Al-Jāhilīyati Yaqūlūna Hal Lanā Mina Al-'Amri Min Shay'in Qul 'Inna Al-'Amra Kullahu Lillāhi Yukhfūna Fī 'Anfusihim Mā Lā Yubdūna Laka Yaqūlūna Law Kāna Lanā Mina Al-'Amri Shay'un Mā Qutilnā Hāhunā Qul Law Kuntum Fī Buyūtikum Labaraza Al-Ladhīna Kutiba `Alayhimu Al-Qatlu 'Ilá Mađāji`ihim Wa Liyabtaliya Allāhu Mā Fī Şudūrikum Wa Liyumaĥĥişa Mā Fī Qulūbikum Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْا مِنْكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ إِنَّمَا اسْتَزَلَّهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ بِبَعْضِ مَا كَسَبُوا ۖ وَلَقَدْ عَفَا اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٌ 155
Translation
Indeed those who turned back among you (on the) day met the two hosts only made them slip the Shaitaan for some (of) what they (had) earned And surely forgave Allah [on] them indeed Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving All-Forbearing
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Tawallaw Minkum Yawma At-Taqá Al-Jam`āni 'Innamā Astazallahumu Ash-Shayţānu Biba`đi Mā Kasabū Wa Laqad `Afā Allāhu `Anhum 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Ĥalīmun
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَقَالُوا لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ إِذَا ضَرَبُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَوْ كَانُوا غُزًّى لَوْ كَانُوا عِنْدَنَا مَا مَاتُوا وَمَا قُتِلُوا لِيَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ ذَٰلِكَ حَسْرَةً فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ 156
Translation
O you who believe[d] (Do) not be like those who disbelieved and they said about their brothers when they traveled in the earth or they were fighting if they had been with us not they (would have) died and not they (would have) been killed So makes Allah that a regret in their hearts And Allah gives life and causes death and Allah of what you do (is) All-Seer
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Takūnū Kālladhīna Kafarū Wa Qālū Li'khwānihim 'Idhā Đarabū Fī Al-'Arđi 'Aw Kānū Ghuzzáan Law Kānū `Indanā Mā Mātū Wa Mā Qutilū Liyaj`ala Allāhu Dhālika Ĥasratan Fī Qulūbihim Wa Allāhu Yuĥyī Wa Yumītu Wa Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Başīrun
وَلَئِنْ قُتِلْتُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ مُتُّمْ لَمَغْفِرَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرَحْمَةٌ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ 157
Translation
And if you are killed in (the) way (of) Allah or die[d] - certainly forgiveness from Allah and Mercy (are) better than what they accumulate
Transliteration
Wa La'in Qutiltum Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Aw Muttum Lamaghfiratun Mina Allāhi Wa Raĥmatun Khayrun Mimmā Yajma`ūna
وَلَئِنْ مُتُّمْ أَوْ قُتِلْتُمْ لَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُحْشَرُونَ 158
Translation
And if you die or are killed surely to Allah you will be gathered
Transliteration
Wa La'in Muttum 'Aw Qutiltum La'ilá Allāhi Tuĥsharūna
فَبِمَا رَحْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ لِنْتَ لَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ كُنْتَ فَظًّا غَلِيظَ الْقَلْبِ لَانْفَضُّوا مِنْ حَوْلِكَ ۖ فَاعْفُ عَنْهُمْ وَاسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَشَاوِرْهُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ ۖ فَإِذَا عَزَمْتَ فَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ 159
Translation
So because (of) Mercy from Allah you dealt gently with them And if you had been rude (and) harsh (at) [the] heart surely they (would have) dispersed from around you Then pardon [from] them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter Then when you have decided then put trust on Allah Indeed Allah loves the ones who put trust (in Him)
Transliteration
Fabimā Raĥmatin Mina Allāhi Linta Lahum Wa Law Kunta Fažžāan Ghalīža Al-Qalbi Lānfađđū Min Ĥawlika Fā`fu `Anhum Wa Astaghfir Lahum Wa Shāwirhum Fī Al-'Amri Fa'idhā `Azamta Fatawakkal `Alá Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Mutawakkilīna
إِنْ يَنْصُرْكُمُ اللَّهُ فَلَا غَالِبَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ يَخْذُلْكُمْ فَمَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ ۗ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ 160
Translation
If helps you Allah then not (can) overcome [for] you and if He forsakes you then who (is) the one who can help you from after Him And on Allah let put (their) trust the believers
Transliteration
'In Yanşurkumu Allāhu Falā Ghāliba Lakum Wa 'In Yakhdhulkum Faman Dhā Al-Ladhī Yanşurukum Min Ba`dihi Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna
وَمَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَغُلَّ ۚ وَمَنْ يَغْلُلْ يَأْتِ بِمَا غَلَّ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ ثُمَّ تُوَفَّىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ 161
Translation
And not is for a Prophet that he defrauds And whoever defrauds will bring what he had defrauded (on the) Day (of) Resurrection Then is repaid in full every soul what it earned and they (will) not be wronged
Transliteration
Wa Mā Kāna Linabīyin 'An Yaghulla Wa Man Yaghlul Ya'ti Bimā Ghalla Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Thumma Tuwaffá Kullu Nafsin Mā Kasabat Wa Hum Lā Yužlamūna
أَفَمَنِ اتَّبَعَ رِضْوَانَ اللَّهِ كَمَنْ بَاءَ بِسَخَطٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَمَأْوَاهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۚ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ 162
Translation
So is (the one) who pursues (the) pleasure (of) Allah like (the one) who draws on (himself) wrath of Allah and his abode (is) hell and wretched (is) the destination
Transliteration
''Afamani Attaba`a Riđwāna Allāhi Kaman Bā'a Bisakhaţin Mina Allāhi Wa Ma'wāhu Jahannamu Wa Bi'sa Al-Maşīru
هُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ 163
Translation
They (are in varying) degrees near Allah and Allah (is) All-Seer of what they do
Transliteration
Hum Darajātun `Inda Allāhi Wa Allāhu Başīrun Bimā Ya`malūna
لَقَدْ مَنَّ اللَّهُ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذْ بَعَثَ فِيهِمْ رَسُولًا مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ يَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِهِ وَيُزَكِّيهِمْ وَيُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتَابَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَإِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ 164
Translation
Certainly bestowed a Favor Allah upon the believers as He raised among them a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His Verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book and the wisdom although they were from before (that) certainly in (the) error clear
Transliteration
LLaqad Manna Allāhu `Alá Al-Mu'uminīna 'Idh Ba`atha Fīhim Rasūlāan Min 'Anfusihim Yatlū `Alayhim 'Āyātihi Wa Yuzakkīhim Wa Yu`allimuhumu Al-Kitāba Wa Al-Ĥikmata Wa 'In Kānū Min Qablu Lafī Đalālin Mubīnin
أَوَلَمَّا أَصَابَتْكُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَدْ أَصَبْتُمْ مِثْلَيْهَا قُلْتُمْ أَنَّىٰ هَٰذَا ۖ قُلْ هُوَ مِنْ عِنْدِ أَنْفُسِكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 165
Translation
Or when struck you disaster surely you had struck (them) twice of it you said From where (is) this Say It (is) from yourselves Indeed Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful
Transliteration
''Awalammā 'Aşābatkum Muşībatun Qad 'Aşabtum Mithlayhā Qultum 'Anná Hādhā Qul Huwa Min `Indi 'Anfusikum 'Inna Allāha `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun
وَمَا أَصَابَكُمْ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ فَبِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ 166
Translation
And what struck you (on the) day (when) met the two hosts by (the) permission (of) Allah and that He (might) make evident the believers
Transliteration
Wa Mā 'Aşābakum Yawma At-Taqá Al-Jam`āni Fabi'idhni Allāhi Wa Liya`lama Al-Mu'uminīna
وَلِيَعْلَمَ الَّذِينَ نَافَقُوا ۚ وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا قَاتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوِ ادْفَعُوا ۖ قَالُوا لَوْ نَعْلَمُ قِتَالًا لَاتَّبَعْنَاكُمْ ۗ هُمْ لِلْكُفْرِ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَقْرَبُ مِنْهُمْ لِلْإِيمَانِ ۚ يَقُولُونَ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ مَا لَيْسَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَكْتُمُونَ 167
Translation
And that He (might) make evident those who (are) hypocrites And it was said to them Come fight in (the) way (of) Allah or defend They said If we knew fighting certainly we (would have) followed you They - to disbelief that day (were) nearer than [them] to the faith saying with their mouths what was not in their hearts And Allah (is) Most Knowing (of) what they conceal
Transliteration
Wa Liya`lama Al-Ladhīna Nāfaqū Wa Qīla Lahum Ta`ālaw Qātilū Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Aw Adfa`ū Qālū Law Na`lamu Qitālāan Lāttaba`nākum Hum Lilkufri Yawma'idhin 'Aqrabu Minhum Lil'īmāni Yaqūlūna Bi'afwhihim Mā Laysa Fī Qulūbihim Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Yaktumūna
الَّذِينَ قَالُوا لِإِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُوا لَوْ أَطَاعُونَا مَا قُتِلُوا ۗ قُلْ فَادْرَءُوا عَنْ أَنْفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ 168
Translation
Those who said about their brothers while they sat If they (had) obeyed us not they would have been killed Say Then avert from yourselves [the] death if you are truthful
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna Qālū Li'khwānihim Wa Qa`adū Law 'Aţā`ūnā Mā Qutilū Qul Fādra'ū `An 'Anfusikumu Al-Mawta 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna
وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ 169
Translation
And (do) not think (of) those who are killed in (the) way (of) Allah (as) dead Nay! They are alive near their Lord; they are given provision
Transliteration
Wa Lā Taĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Qutilū Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Amwātāan Bal 'Aĥyā'un `Inda Rabbihim Yurzaqūna
فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ 170
Translation
Rejoicing in what bestowed them Allah of His Bounty and they receive good tidings about those who (have) not yet joined [with] them [from] (but are) left behind that (there will be) no fear on them and not they will grieve
Transliteration
Fariĥīna Bimā 'Ātāhumu Allāhu Min Fađlihi Wa Yastabshirūna Bial-Ladhīna Lam Yalĥaqū Bihim Min Khalfihim 'Allā Khawfun `Alayhim Wa Lā Hum Yaĥzanūna
۞ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَفَضْلٍ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ 171
Translation
They receive good tidings of Favor from Allah and Bounty and that Allah (does) not let go waste (the) reward (of) the believers
Transliteration
YYastabshirūna Bini`matin Mina Allāhi Wa Fađlin Wa 'Anna Allāha Lā Yuđī`u 'Ajra Al-Mu'uminīna
الَّذِينَ اسْت
