As-Sajdah The Prostration

Translation
Alif Lam Mim
Transliteration
'Alif-Lām-Mīm
تَنْزِيلُ الْكِتَابِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ 2
Translation
(The) revelation (of) the Book (there is) no doubt about it from (the) Lord (of) the worlds
Transliteration
Tanzīlu Al-Kitābi Lā Rayba Fīhi Min Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ افْتَرَاهُ ۚ بَلْ هُوَ الْحَقُّ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لِتُنْذِرَ قَوْمًا مَا أَتَاهُمْ مِنْ نَذِيرٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَهْتَدُونَ 3
Translation
Or (do) they say He invented it Nay it (is) the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people not has come to them any warner before you before you so that they may be guided
Transliteration
'Am Yaqūlūna Aftarāhu Bal Huwa Al-Ĥaqqu Min Rabbika Litundhira Qawmāan Mā 'Atāhum Min Nadhīrin Min Qablika La`allahum Yahtadūna
اللَّهُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِي سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ ۖ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ دُونِهِ مِنْ وَلِيٍّ وَلَا شَفِيعٍ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَذَكَّرُونَ 4
Translation
Allah (is) the One Who created the heavens and the earth and whatever (is) between them in six periods Then established Himself on the Throne Not for you besides Him besides Him any protector and not any intercessor Then will not you take heed
Transliteration
Allāhu Al-Ladhī Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Wa Mā Baynahumā Fī Sittati 'Ayyāmin Thumma Astawá `Alá Al-`Arshi Mā Lakum Min Dūnihi Min Wa Līyin Wa Lā Shafī`in 'Afalā Tatadhakkarūna
يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ ثُمَّ يَعْرُجُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ مِمَّا تَعُدُّونَ 5
Translation
He regulates the affair of the heaven to the earth then it will ascend to Him in a Day (the) measure of which is (the) measure of which is a thousand years of what you count
Transliteration
Yudabbiru Al-'Amra Mina As-Samā'i 'Ilá Al-'Arđi Thumma Ya`ruju 'Ilayhi Fī Yawmin Kāna Miqdāruhu 'Alfa Sanatin Mimmā Ta`uddūna
ذَٰلِكَ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ 6
Translation
That (is the) Knower (of) the hidden and the witnessed the All-Mighty the Most Merciful
Transliteration
Dhālika `Ālimu Al-Ghaybi Wa Ash-Shahādati Al-`Azīzu Ar-Raĥīmu
الَّذِي أَحْسَنَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقَهُ ۖ وَبَدَأَ خَلْقَ الْإِنْسَانِ مِنْ طِينٍ 7
Translation
The One Who made good every thing He created and He began (the) creation (of) man from clay
Transliteration
Al-Ladhī 'Aĥsana Kulla Shay'in Khalaqahu Wa Bada'a Khalqa Al-'Insāni Min Ţīnin
ثُمَّ جَعَلَ نَسْلَهُ مِنْ سُلَالَةٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ مَهِينٍ 8
Translation
Then He made his progeny from an extract of water despised
Transliteration
TThumma Ja`ala Naslahu Min Sulālatin Min Mā'in Mahīnin
ثُمَّ سَوَّاهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِهِ ۖ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَا تَشْكُرُونَ 9
Translation
Then He fashioned him and breathed into him from His spirit and made for you the hearing and the sight and feelings; little [what] thanks you give
Transliteration
TThumma Sawwāhu Wa Nafakha Fīhi Min Rūĥihi Wa Ja`ala Lakumu As-Sam`a Wa Al-'Abşāra Wa Al-'Af'idata Qalīlāan Mā Tashkurūna
وَقَالُوا أَإِذَا ضَلَلْنَا فِي الْأَرْضِ أَإِنَّا لَفِي خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ بِلِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ كَافِرُونَ 10
Translation
And they say Is (it) when we are lost in the earth will we certainly be in a creation new Nay they in (the) meeting (of) their Lord (are) disbelievers
Transliteration
Wa Qālū 'A'idhā Đalalnā Fī Al-'Arđi 'A'innā Lafī Khalqin Jadīdin Bal Hum Biliqā'i Rabbihim Kāfirūna
۞ قُلْ يَتَوَفَّاكُمْ مَلَكُ الْمَوْتِ الَّذِي وُكِّلَ بِكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمْ تُرْجَعُونَ 11
Translation
Say Will take your soul (the) Angel (of) the death the one who has been put in charge of you Then to your Lord you will be returned
Transliteration
Qul Yatawaffākum Malaku Al-Mawti Al-Ladhī Wukkila Bikum Thumma 'Ilá Rabbikum Turja`ūna
وَلَوْ تَرَىٰ إِذِ الْمُجْرِمُونَ نَاكِسُو رُءُوسِهِمْ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ رَبَّنَا أَبْصَرْنَا وَسَمِعْنَا فَارْجِعْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا إِنَّا مُوقِنُونَ 12
Translation
And if you (could) see when the criminals (will) hang their heads before their Lord Our Lord we have seen and we have heard so return us we will do righteous (deeds) Indeed we (are now) certain
Transliteration
Wa Law Tará 'Idhi Al-Mujrimūna Nākisū Ru'ūsihim `Inda Rabbihim Rabbanā 'Abşarnā Wa Sami`nā Fārji`nā Na`mal Şāliĥāan 'Innā Mūqinūna
وَلَوْ شِئْنَا لَآتَيْنَا كُلَّ نَفْسٍ هُدَاهَا وَلَٰكِنْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ مِنِّي لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ 13
Translation
And if We (had) willed surely We (would) have given every soul its guidance but (is) true the Word from Me that I will surely fill Hell with the jinn and the men together
Transliteration
Wa Law Shi'nā La'ātaynā Kulla Nafsin Hudāhā Wa Lakin Ĥaqqa Al-Qawlu Minnī La'amla'anna Jahannama Mina Al-Jinnati Wa An-Nāsi 'Ajma`īna
فَذُوقُوا بِمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا إِنَّا نَسِينَاكُمْ ۖ وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْخُلْدِ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 14
Translation
So taste because you forgot (the) meeting (of) this Day of yours (of) this Day of yours Indeed, We have forgotten you And taste (the) punishment (of) eternity for what you used (to) do
Transliteration
Fadhūqū Bimā Nasītum Liqā'a Yawmikum Hādhā 'Innā Nasīnākum Wa Dhūqū `Adhāba Al-Khuldi Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna
إِنَّمَا يُؤْمِنُ بِآيَاتِنَا الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهَا خَرُّوا سُجَّدًا وَسَبَّحُوا بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ ۩ 15
Translation
Only believe in Our Verses those who when they are reminded of them fall down prostrating and glorify (the) praises (of) their Lord and they are not arrogant are not arrogant
Transliteration
'Innamā Yu'uminu Bi'āyātinā Al-Ladhīna 'Idhā Dhukkirū Bihā Kharrū Sujjadāan Wa Sabbaĥū Biĥamdi Rabbihim Wa Hum Lā Yastakbirūna
تَتَجَافَىٰ جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ يَدْعُونَ رَبَّهُمْ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ 16
Translation
Forsake their sides from (their) beds; they call their Lord (in) fear and hope and out of what We have provided them they spend
Transliteration
Tatajāfá Junūbuhum `Ani Al-Mađāji`i Yad`ūna Rabbahum Khawfāan Wa Ţama`āan Wa Mimmā Razaqnāhum Yunfiqūna
فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ 17
Translation
And not knows a soul what is hidden for them of (the) comfort (for) the eyes (as) a reward for what they used (to) do
Transliteration
Falā Ta`lamu Nafsun Mā 'Ukhfiya Lahum Min Qurrati 'A`yunin Jazā'an Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna
أَفَمَنْ كَانَ مُؤْمِنًا كَمَنْ كَانَ فَاسِقًا ۚ لَا يَسْتَوُونَ 18
Translation
Then is one who is a believer like (him) who is defiantly disobedient Not they are equal
Transliteration
''Afaman Kāna Mu'umināan Kaman Kāna Fāsiqāan Lā Yastawūna
أَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ جَنَّاتُ الْمَأْوَىٰ نُزُلًا بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ 19
Translation
As for those who believe and do righteous deeds then for them (are) Gardens (of) Refuge (as) hospitality for what they used (to) do
Transliteration
''Ammā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Falahum Jannātu Al-Ma'wá Nuzulāan Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna
وَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ فَسَقُوا فَمَأْوَاهُمُ النَّارُ ۖ كُلَّمَا أَرَادُوا أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا أُعِيدُوا فِيهَا وَقِيلَ لَهُمْ ذُوقُوا عَذَابَ النَّارِ الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ 20
Translation
But as for those who are defiantly disobedient then their refuge (is) the Fire Every time they wish to come out from it they (will) be returned in it and it (will) be said to them Taste (the) punishment (of) the Fire which you used (to) [in it] deny
Transliteration
Wa 'Ammā Al-Ladhīna Fasaqū Fama'wāhumu An-Nāru Kullamā 'Arādū 'An Yakhrujū Minhā 'U`īdū Fīhā Wa Qīla Lahum Dhūqū `Adhāba An-Nāri Al-Ladhī Kuntum Bihi Tukadhdhibūna
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُمْ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ الْأَدْنَىٰ دُونَ الْعَذَابِ الْأَكْبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ 21
Translation
And surely We will let them taste of the punishment the nearer before the punishment the greater so that they may return
Transliteration
Wa Lanudhīqannahum Mina Al-`Adhābi Al-'Adná Dūna Al-`Adhābi Al-'Akbari La`allahum Yarji`ūna
وَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنْ ذُكِّرَ بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِ ثُمَّ أَعْرَضَ عَنْهَا ۚ إِنَّا مِنَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ مُنْتَقِمُونَ 22
Translation
And who (is) more unjust than (he) who is reminded of (the) Verses (of) his Lord then he turns away from them Indeed We from the criminals (will) take retribution
Transliteration
Wa Man 'Ažlamu Mimman Dhukkira Bi'āyāti Rabbihi Thumma 'A`rađa `Anhā 'Innā Mina Al-Mujrimīna Muntaqimūna
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَلَا تَكُنْ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِنْ لِقَائِهِ ۖ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ هُدًى لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ 23
Translation
And certainly We gave Musa the Scripture so (do) not be in doubt about receiving it And We made it a guide for the Children of Israel for the Children of Israel
Transliteration
Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā Mūsá Al-Kitāba Falā Takun Fī Miryatin Min Liqā'ihi Wa Ja`alnāhu Hudáan Libanī 'Isrā'īla
وَجَعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ أَئِمَّةً يَهْدُونَ بِأَمْرِنَا لَمَّا صَبَرُوا ۖ وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يُوقِنُونَ 24
Translation
And We made from them leaders guiding by Our Command when they were patient and they were of Our Verses certain
Transliteration
Wa Ja`alnā Minhum 'A'immatan Yahdūna Bi'amrinā Lammā Şabarū Wa Kānū Bi'āyātinā Yūqinūna
إِنَّ رَبَّكَ هُوَ يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ 25
Translation
Indeed your Lord [He] will judge between them (on the) Day (of) Resurrection in what they used (to) [in it] differ
Transliteration
'Inna Rabbaka Huwa Yafşilu Baynahum Yawma Al-Qiyāmati Fīmā Kānū Fīhi Yakhtalifūna
أَوَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنَ الْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِي مَسَاكِنِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ ۖ أَفَلَا يَسْمَعُونَ 26
Translation
Does it not guide [for] them (that) how many We have destroyed before them before them of the generations they walk about in their dwellings Indeed in that surely, are Signs Then do not they hear
Transliteration
'Awalam Yahdi Lahum Kam 'Ahlaknā Min Qablihim Mina Al-Qurūni Yamshūna Fī Masākinihim 'Inna Fī Dhālika La'āyātin 'Afalā Yasma`ūna
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا نَسُوقُ الْمَاءَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ الْجُرُزِ فَنُخْرِجُ بِهِ زَرْعًا تَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ أَنْعَامُهُمْ وَأَنْفُسُهُمْ ۖ أَفَلَا يُبْصِرُونَ 27
Translation
Do not they see that We drive water to the land [the] barren then We bring forth thereby crops eat from it their cattle and they themselves Then do not they see
Transliteration
'Awalam Yaraw 'Annā Nasūqu Al-Mā'a 'Ilá Al-'Arđi Al-Juruzi Fanukhriju Bihi Zar`āan Ta'kulu Minhu 'An`āmuhum Wa 'Anfusuhum 'Afalā Yubşirūna
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْفَتْحُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ 28
Translation
And they say When (will be) this decision if you are truthful
Transliteration
Wa Yaqūlūna Matá Hādhā Al-Fatĥu 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna
قُلْ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ لَا يَنْفَعُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِيمَانُهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْظَرُونَ 29
Translation
Say (On the) Day (of) the Decision not will benefit those who disbelieve their belief and not they will be granted respite
Transliteration
Qul Yawma Al-Fatĥi Lā Yanfa`u Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Īmānuhum Wa Lā Hum Yunžarūna
فَأَعْرِضْ عَنْهُمْ وَانْتَظِرْ إِنَّهُمْ مُنْتَظِرُونَ 30
Translation
So turn away from them and wait Indeed they (are) waiting
Transliteration
Fa'a`riđ `Anhum Wa Antažir 'Innahum Muntažirūna
