Transliteration
&Ĥā-Mīm
تَنْزِيلٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ 2
Translation
A revelation from the Most Gracious the Most Merciful
Transliteration
Tanzīlun Mina Ar-Raĥmāni Ar-Raĥīmi
كِتَابٌ فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ 3
Translation
A Book are detailed its Verses a Quran (in) Arabic for a people who know
Transliteration
KKitābun Fuşşilat 'Āyātuhu Qur'ānāan `Arabīyāan Liqawmin Ya`lamūna
بَشِيرًا وَنَذِيرًا فَأَعْرَضَ أَكْثَرُهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ 4
Translation
A giver of glad tidings and a warner; but turn away most of them so they (do) not hear
Transliteration
BBashīrāan Wa Nadhīrāan Fa'a`rađa 'Aktharuhum Fahum Lā Yasma`ūna
وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا فِي أَكِنَّةٍ مِمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ وَفِي آذَانِنَا وَقْرٌ وَمِنْ بَيْنِنَا وَبَيْنِكَ حِجَابٌ فَاعْمَلْ إِنَّنَا عَامِلُونَ 5
Translation
And they say Our hearts (are) in coverings from what you call us to it and in our ears (is) deafness and between us and between us and between you (is) a screen So work indeed, we (are) working
Transliteration
Wa Qālū Qulūbunā Fī 'Akinnatin Mimmā Tad`ūnā 'Ilayhi Wa Fī 'Ādhāninā Waqrun Wa Min Bayninā Wa Baynika Ĥijābun Fā`mal 'Innanā `Āmilūna
قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِثْلُكُمْ يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَاسْتَقِيمُوا إِلَيْهِ وَاسْتَغْفِرُوهُ ۗ وَوَيْلٌ لِلْمُشْرِكِينَ 6
Translation
Say Only I am a man like you it is revealed to me that your god (is) God One; so take a Straight Path to Him and ask His forgiveness And woe to the polytheists
Transliteration
Qul 'Innamā 'Anā Basharun Mithlukum Yūĥá 'Ilayya 'Annamā 'Ilahukum 'Ilahun Wāĥidun Fāstaqīmū 'Ilayhi Wa Astaghfirūhu Wa Waylun Lilmushrikīna
الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْتُونَ الزَّكَاةَ وَهُمْ بِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ 7
Translation
Those who (do) not give the zakah and they in the Hereafter they (are) disbelievers
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu'utūna Az-Zakāata Wa Hum Bil-'Ākhirati Hum Kāfirūna
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ 8
Translation
Indeed those who believe and do righteous deeds for them (is) a reward never ending never ending
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum 'Ajrun Ghayru Mamnūnin
۞ قُلْ أَئِنَّكُمْ لَتَكْفُرُونَ بِالَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَتَجْعَلُونَ لَهُ أَنْدَادًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ 9
Translation
Say Do you indeed [surely] disbelieve in the One Who created the earth in two periods and you set up with Him rivals That (is the) Lord (of) the worlds
Transliteration
Qul 'A'innakum Latakfurūna Bial-Ladhī Khalaqa Al-'Arđa Fī Yawmayni Wa Taj`alūna Lahu 'Andādāan Dhālika Rabbu Al-`Ālamīna
وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ مِنْ فَوْقِهَا وَبَارَكَ فِيهَا وَقَدَّرَ فِيهَا أَقْوَاتَهَا فِي أَرْبَعَةِ أَيَّامٍ سَوَاءً لِلسَّائِلِينَ 10
Translation
And He placed therein firmly-set mountains above it above it and He blessed therein and determined therein its sustenance in four periods equal for those who ask
Transliteration
Wa Ja`ala Fīhā Rawāsiya Min Fawqihā Wa Bāraka Fīhā Wa Qaddara Fīhā 'Aqwātahā Fī 'Arba`ati 'Ayyāmin Sawā'an Lilssā'ilīna
ثُمَّ اسْتَوَىٰ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٌ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلْأَرْضِ ائْتِيَا طَوْعًا أَوْ كَرْهًا قَالَتَا أَتَيْنَا طَائِعِينَ 11
Translation
Then He directed (Himself) towards the heaven while it (was) smoke and He said to it and to the earth Come both of you willingly or unwillingly They both said We come willingly
Transliteration
TThumma Astawá 'Ilá As-Samā'i Wa Hiya Dukhānun Faqāla Lahā Wa Lil'arđi Ai'tiyā Ţaw`āan 'Aw Karhāan Qālatā 'Ataynā Ţā'i`īna
فَقَضَاهُنَّ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَأَوْحَىٰ فِي كُلِّ سَمَاءٍ أَمْرَهَا ۚ وَزَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَحِفْظًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ 12
Translation
Then He completed them (as) seven heavens in two periods and He revealed in each heaven its affair And We adorned the heaven the nearest with lamps and (to) guard That (is the) Decree (of) the All-Mighty the All-Knower
Transliteration
FFaqađāhunna Sab`a Samāwātin Fī Yawmayni Wa 'Awĥá Fī Kulli Samā'in 'Amrahā Wa Zayyannā As-Samā'a Ad-Dunyā Bimaşābīĥa Wa Ĥifžāan Dhālika Taqdīru Al-`Azīzi Al-`Alīmi
فَإِنْ أَعْرَضُوا فَقُلْ أَنْذَرْتُكُمْ صَاعِقَةً مِثْلَ صَاعِقَةِ عَادٍ وَثَمُودَ 13
Translation
But if they turn away then say I have warned you (of) a thunderbolt like (the) thunderbolt (of) Aad and Thamud
Transliteration
Fa'in 'A`rađū Faqul 'Andhartukum Şā`iqatan Mithla Şā`iqati `Ādin Wa Thamūda
إِذْ جَاءَتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ ۖ قَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنْزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً فَإِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ 14
Translation
When came to them the Messengers from before them from before them from before them and from behind them (saying) Do not worship but Allah They said If (had) willed our Lord surely, He (would have) sent down Angels So indeed, we in what you have been sent with (are) disbelievers
Transliteration
'Idh Jā'at/humu Ar-Rusulu Min Bayni 'Aydīhim Wa Min Khalfihim 'Allā Ta`budū 'Illā Allāha Qālū Law Shā'a Rabbunā La'anzala Malā'ikatan Fa'innā Bimā 'Ursiltum Bihi Kāfirūna
فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا مَنْ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً ۖ أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۖ وَكَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ 15
Translation
Then as for Aad they were arrogant in the earth without [the] right and they said Who (is) mightier than us (in) strength Do not they see that Allah the One Who created them He (is) Mightier than them (in) strength But they used (to) in Our Signs deny
Transliteration
Fa'ammā `Ādun Fāstakbarū Fī Al-'Arđi Bighayri Al-Ĥaqqi Wa Qālū Man 'Ashaddu Minnā Qūwatan 'Awalam Yaraw 'Anna Allāha Al-Ladhī Khalaqahum Huwa 'Ashaddu Minhum Qūwatan Wa Kānū Bi'āyātinā Yajĥadūna
فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي أَيَّامٍ نَحِسَاتٍ لِنُذِيقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَخْزَىٰ ۖ وَهُمْ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ 16
Translation
So We sent upon them a wind furious in (the) days (of) misfortune that We may make them taste (the) punishment (of) disgrace in the life (of) the world And surely, (the) punishment (of) the Hereafter (is) more disgracing and they will not be helped will not be helped
Transliteration
Fa'arsalnā `Alayhim Rīĥāan Şarşarāan Fī 'Ayyāmin Naĥisātin Linudhīqahum `Adhāba Al-Khizyi Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa La`adhābu Al-'Ākhirati 'Akhzá Wa Hum Lā Yunşarūna
وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيْنَاهُمْ فَاسْتَحَبُّوا الْعَمَىٰ عَلَى الْهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَاعِقَةُ الْعَذَابِ الْهُونِ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ 17
Translation
And as for Thamud We guided them but they preferred [the] blindness over the guidance so seized them a thunderbolt (of) the punishment humiliating for what they used (to) earn
Transliteration
Wa 'Ammā Thamūdu Fahadaynāhum Fāstaĥabbū Al-`Amá `Alá Al-Hudá Fa'akhadhat/hum Şā`iqatu Al-`Adhābi Al-Hūni Bimā Kānū Yaksibūna
وَنَجَّيْنَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَكَانُوا يَتَّقُونَ 18
Translation
And We saved those who believed and used (to) fear (Allah)
Transliteration
Wa Najjaynā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Kānū Yattaqūna
وَيَوْمَ يُحْشَرُ أَعْدَاءُ اللَّهِ إِلَى النَّارِ فَهُمْ يُوزَعُونَ 19
Translation
And (the) Day will be gathered (the) enemies (of) Allah to the Fire then they will be assembled in rows
Transliteration
Wa Yawma Yuĥsharu 'A`dā'u Allāhi 'Ilá An-Nāri Fahum Yūza`ūna
حَتَّىٰ إِذَا مَا جَاءُوهَا شَهِدَ عَلَيْهِمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَأَبْصَارُهُمْ وَجُلُودُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ 20
Translation
Until when when they come to it (will) testify against them their hearing and their sight and their skins (as) to what they used (to) do
Transliteration
Ĥattá 'Idhā Mā Jā'ūhā Shahida `Alayhim Sam`uhum Wa 'Abşāruhum Wa Julūduhum Bimā Kānū Ya`malūna
وَقَالُوا لِجُلُودِهِمْ لِمَ شَهِدْتُمْ عَلَيْنَا ۖ قَالُوا أَنْطَقَنَا اللَّهُ الَّذِي أَنْطَقَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ خَلَقَكُمْ أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ 21
Translation
And they will say to their skins Why do you testify against us They will say Allah made us speak Allah made us speak the One Who makes speak every thing and He created you (the) first time and to Him you will be returned
Transliteration
Wa Qālū Lijulūdihim Lima Shahidtum `Alaynā Qālū 'Anţaqanā Allāhu Al-Ladhī 'Anţaqa Kulla Shay'in Wa Huwa Khalaqakum 'Awwala Marratin Wa 'Ilayhi Turja`ūna
وَمَا كُنْتُمْ تَسْتَتِرُونَ أَنْ يَشْهَدَ عَلَيْكُمْ سَمْعُكُمْ وَلَا أَبْصَارُكُمْ وَلَا جُلُودُكُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ ظَنَنْتُمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَعْلَمُ كَثِيرًا مِمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ 22
Translation
And not you were covering yourselves lest testify against you your hearing and not your sight and not your skins but you assumed that Allah (does) not know much of what you do
Transliteration
Wa Mā Kuntum Tastatirūna 'An Yash/hada `Alaykum Sam`ukum Wa Lā 'Abşārukum Wa Lā Julūdukum Wa Lakin Žanantum 'Anna Allāha Lā Ya`lamu Kathīrāan Mimmā Ta`malūna
وَذَٰلِكُمْ ظَنُّكُمُ الَّذِي ظَنَنْتُمْ بِرَبِّكُمْ أَرْدَاكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ 23
Translation
And that (was) your assumption which you assumed about your Lord It has ruined you and you have become of the losers
Transliteration
Wa Dhalikum Žannukumu Al-Ladhī Žanantum Birabbikum 'Ardākum Fa'aşbaĥtum Mina Al-Khāsirīna
فَإِنْ يَصْبِرُوا فَالنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ يَسْتَعْتِبُوا فَمَا هُمْ مِنَ الْمُعْتَبِينَ 24
Translation
Then if they endure the Fire (is) an abode for them; and if they ask for favor then not they (will be) of those who receive favor
Transliteration
Fa'in Yaşbirū Fālnnāru Mathwáan Lahum Wa 'In Yasta`tibū Famā Hum Mina Al-Mu`tabīna
۞ وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَاءَ فَزَيَّنُوا لَهُمْ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلُ فِي أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا خَاسِرِينَ 25
Translation
And We have destined for them companions (who) made fair-seeming to them what (was) before them (was) before them and what (was) behind them and (is) justified against them the Word among nations (that have) passed away (that have) passed away before them before them of the jinn and the men Indeed, they were losers
Transliteration
Wa Qayyađnā Lahum Quranā'a Fazayyanū Lahum Mā Bayna 'Aydīhim Wa Mā Khalfahum Wa Ĥaqqa `Alayhimu Al-Qawlu Fī 'Umamin Qad Khalat Min Qablihim Mina Al-Jinni Wa Al-'Insi 'Innahum Kānū Khāsirīna
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَا تَسْمَعُوا لِهَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ وَالْغَوْا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَغْلِبُونَ 26
Translation
And said those who disbelieve (Do) not listen to this Quran and make noise therein that you may overcome
Transliteration
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Lā Tasma`ū Lihadhā Al-Qur'āni Wa Al-Ghaw Fīhi La`allakum Taghlibūna
فَلَنُذِيقَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَسْوَأَ الَّذِي كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ 27
Translation
But surely We will cause to taste those who disbelieve a punishment severe and surely We will recompense them (the) worst (of) what they used (to) do
Transliteration
FFalanudhīqanna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū `Adhābāan Shadīdāan Wa Lanajziyannahum 'Aswa'a Al-Ladhī Kānū Ya`malūna
ذَٰلِكَ جَزَاءُ أَعْدَاءِ اللَّهِ النَّارُ ۖ لَهُمْ فِيهَا دَارُ الْخُلْدِ ۖ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا بِآيَاتِنَا يَجْحَدُونَ 28
Translation
That (is the) recompense (of the) enemies (of) Allah - the Fire; for them therein (is the) home (of) the eternity (as) recompense for what they used (to) of Our Verses reject
Transliteration
Dhālika Jazā'u 'A`dā'i Allāhi An-Nāru Lahum Fīhā Dāru Al-Khuldi Jazā'an Bimā Kānū Bi'āyātinā Yajĥadūna
وَقَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا رَبَّنَا أَرِنَا اللَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا لِيَكُونَا مِنَ الْأَسْفَلِينَ 29
Translation
And (will) say those who disbelieve Our Lord! Show us those who misled us of the jinn and the men (so) we may put them under our feet that they be of the lowest
Transliteration
Wa Qāla Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Rabbanā 'Arinā Al-Ladhayni 'Ađallānā Mina Al-Jinni Wa Al-'Insi Naj`alhumā Taĥta 'Aqdāminā Liyakūnā Mina Al-'Asfalīna
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ 30
Translation
Indeed those who say Our Lord (is) Allah then stand firm - will descend on them the Angels Do not fear and (do) not grieve but receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you were promised
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Qālū Rabbunā Allāhu Thumma Astaqāmū Tatanazzalu `Alayhimu Al-Malā'ikatu 'Allā Takhāfū Wa Lā Taĥzanū Wa 'Abshirū Bil-Jannati Allatī Kuntum Tū`adūna
نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَاؤُكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِي أَنْفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ 31
Translation
We (are) your protectors in the life (of) the world and in the Hereafter And for you therein whatever desire your souls and for you therein what you ask
Transliteration
Naĥnu 'Awliyā'uukum Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Fī Al-'Ākhirati Wa Lakum Fīhā Mā Tashtahī 'Anfusukum Wa Lakum Fīhā Mā Tadda`ūna
نُزُلًا مِنْ غَفُورٍ رَحِيمٍ 32
Translation
A hospitable gift from (the) Oft-Forgiving (the) Most Merciful
Transliteration
Nuzulāan Min Ghafūrin Raĥīmin
وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِمَّنْ دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ 33
Translation
And who (is) better (in) speech than (one) who invites to Allah and does righteous (deeds) and says Indeed I am of those who submit
Transliteration
Wa Man 'Aĥsanu Qawlāan Mimman Da`ā 'Ilá Allāhi Wa `Amila Şāliĥāan Wa Qāla 'Innanī Mina Al-Muslimīna
وَلَا تَسْتَوِي الْحَسَنَةُ وَلَا السَّيِّئَةُ ۚ ادْفَعْ بِالَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَهُ عَدَاوَةٌ كَأَنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ حَمِيمٌ 34
Translation
And not are equal the good (deed) and the evil (deed) Repel by (that) which [it] (is) better; then behold! One who between you and between him (was) enmity as if he (was) a friend intimate
Transliteration
Wa Lā Tastawī Al-Ĥasanatu Wa Lā As-Sayyi'atu Adfa` Bi-Atī Hiya 'Aĥsanu Fa'idhā Al-Ladhī Baynaka Wa Baynahu `Adāwatun Ka'annahu Wa Līyun Ĥamīmun
وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا الَّذِينَ صَبَرُوا وَمَا يُلَقَّاهَا إِلَّا ذُو حَظٍّ عَظِيمٍ 35
Translation
And not it is granted except (to) those who (are) patient and not it is granted except (to the) owner (of) fortune great
Transliteration
Wa Mā Yulaqqāhā 'Illā Al-Ladhīna Şabarū Wa Mā Yulaqqāhā 'Illā Dhū Ĥažžin `Ažīmin
وَإِمَّا يَنْزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ نَزْغٌ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ 36
Translation
And if whisper comes to you from the Shaitan an evil suggestion then seek refuge in Allah Indeed He [He] (is) the All-Hearer the All-Knower
Transliteration
Wa 'Immā Yanzaghannaka Mina Ash-Shayţāni Nazghun Fāsta`idh Billāhi 'Innahu Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ اللَّيْلُ وَالنَّهَارُ وَالشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ ۚ لَا تَسْجُدُوا لِلشَّمْسِ وَلَا لِلْقَمَرِ وَاسْجُدُوا لِلَّهِ الَّذِي خَلَقَهُنَّ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ 37
Translation
And of His Signs (are) the night and the day and the sun and the moon (Do) not prostrate to the sun and not to the moon but prostrate to Allah the One Who created them if you Him alone worship
Transliteration
Wa Min 'Āyātihi Al-Laylu Wa An-Nahāru Wa Ash-Shamsu Wa Al-Qamaru Lā Tasjudū Lilshshamsi Wa Lā Lilqamari Wa Asjudū Lillāhi Al-Ladhī Khalaqahunna 'In Kuntum 'Īyāhu Ta`budūna
فَإِنِ اسْتَكْبَرُوا فَالَّذِينَ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُ بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْأَمُونَ ۩ 38
Translation
But if they are arrogant then those who (are) near your Lord glorify Him by night and day And they (do) not tire
Transliteration
Fa'ini Astakbarū Fa-Al-Ladhīna `Inda Rabbika Yusabbiĥūna Lahu Bil-Layli Wa An-Nahāri Wa Hum Lā Yas'amūna
وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنَّكَ تَرَى الْأَرْضَ خَاشِعَةً فَإِذَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِي أَحْيَاهَا لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 39
Translation
And among His Signs (is) that you see the earth barren but when We send down upon it water it is stirred (to life) and grows Indeed the One Who gives it life (is) surely the Giver of life (to) the dead Indeed He (is) on every thing All-Powerful
Transliteration
Wa Min 'Āyātihi 'Annaka Tará Al-'Arđa Khāshi`atan Fa'idhā 'Anzalnā `Alayhā Al-Mā'a Ahtazzat Wa Rabat 'Inna Al-Ladhī 'Aĥyāhā Lamuĥyī Al-Mawtá 'Innahu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُلْحِدُونَ فِي آيَاتِنَا لَا يَخْفَوْنَ عَلَيْنَا ۗ أَفَمَنْ يُلْقَىٰ فِي النَّارِ خَيْرٌ أَمْ مَنْ يَأْتِي آمِنًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ 40
Translation
Indeed those who distort [in] Our Verses (are) not hidden from Us So is (he) who is cast in the Fire better or (he) who comes secure (on the) Day (of) Resurrection Do what you will Indeed He of what you do (is) All-Seer
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yulĥidūna Fī 'Āyātinā Lā Yakhfawna `Alaynā 'Afaman Yulqá Fī An-Nāri Khayrun 'Am Man Ya'tī 'Āmināan Yawma Al-Qiyāmati A`malū Mā Shi'tum 'Innahu Bimā Ta`malūna Başīrun
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِالذِّكْرِ لَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ ۖ وَإِنَّهُ لَكِتَابٌ عَزِيزٌ 41
Translation
Indeed those who disbelieve in the Reminder when it comes to them And indeed it (is) surely a Book mighty
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bidh-Dhikri Lammā Jā'ahum Wa 'Innahu Lakitābun `Azīzun
لَا يَأْتِيهِ الْبَاطِلُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا مِنْ خَلْفِهِ ۖ تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ حَكِيمٍ حَمِيدٍ 42
Translation
Not comes to it the falsehood from before it before it and not from behind it A Revelation from (the) All-Wise (the) Praiseworthy
Transliteration
Lā Ya'tīhi Al-Bāţilu Min Bayni Yadayhi Wa Lā Min Khalfihi Tanzīlun Min Ĥakīmin Ĥamīdin
مَا يُقَالُ لَكَ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ قِيلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ ۚ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ وَذُو عِقَابٍ أَلِيمٍ 43
Translation
Not is said to you except what was said was said to the Messengers before you before you Indeed your Lord (is) Possessor (of) forgiveness and Possessor (of) penalty painful
Transliteration
Mā Yuqālu Laka 'Illā Mā Qad Qīla Lilrrusuli Min Qablika 'Inna Rabbaka Ladhū Maghfiratin Wa Dhū `Iqābin 'Alīmin
وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا أَعْجَمِيًّا لَقَالُوا لَوْلَا فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ ۖ أَأَعْجَمِيٌّ وَعَرَبِيٌّ ۗ قُلْ هُوَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا هُدًى وَشِفَاءٌ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ فِي آذَانِهِمْ وَقْرٌ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِمْ عَمًى ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ يُنَادَوْنَ مِنْ مَكَانٍ بَعِيدٍ 44
Translation
And if We (had) made it a Quran (in) a foreign (language) they (would have) said Why not are explained in detail its verses (Is it) a foreign (language) and an Arab Say It (is) for those who believe a guidance and a healing And those who (do) not believe in their ears (is) deafness and it (is) for them blindness Those are being called from a place far
Transliteration
Wa Law Ja`alnāhu Qur'ānāan 'A`jamīyāan Laqālū Lawlā Fuşşilat 'Āyātuhu 'A'a`jamīyun Wa `Arabīyun Qul Huwa Lilladhīna 'Āmanū Hudáan Wa Shifā'un Wa Al-Ladhīna Lā Yu'uminūna Fī 'Ādhānihim Waqrun Wa Huwa `Alayhim `Amáan 'Ūlā'ika Yunādawna Min Makānin Ba`īdin
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ ۗ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِنْهُ مُرِيبٍ 45
Translation
And certainly We gave Musa the Book but disputes arose therein And had it not been (for) a word that preceded from your Lord surely would have been settled between them But indeed they surely (are) in doubt about it disquieting
Transliteration
Wa Laqad 'Ātaynā Mūsá Al-Kitāba Fākhtulifa Fīhi Wa Lawlā Kalimatun Sabaqat Min Rabbika Laquđiya Baynahum Wa 'Innahum Lafī Shakkin Minhu Murībin
مَنْ عَمِلَ صَالِحًا فَلِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ أَسَاءَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۗ وَمَا رَبُّكَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ 46
Translation
Whoever does righteous deeds then it is for his soul; and whoever does evil then it is against it And not (is) your Lord unjust to His slaves
Transliteration
Man `Amila Şāliĥāan Falinafsihi Wa Man 'Asā'a Fa`alayhā Wa Mā Rabbuka Bižallāmin Lil`abīdi
۞ إِلَيْهِ يُرَدُّ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ ۚ وَمَا تَخْرُجُ مِنْ ثَمَرَاتٍ مِنْ أَكْمَامِهَا وَمَا تَحْمِلُ مِنْ أُنْثَىٰ وَلَا تَضَعُ إِلَّا بِعِلْمِهِ ۚ وَيَوْمَ يُنَادِيهِمْ أَيْنَ شُرَكَائِي قَالُوا آذَنَّاكَ مَا مِنَّا مِنْ شَهِيدٍ 47
Translation
To Him is referred (the) knowledge (of) the Hour And not comes out any fruits from their coverings and not bears any female and not gives birth except with His knowledge And (the) Day He will call them Where (are) My partners They will say We announce (to) You not among us any witness
Transliteration
'Ilayhi Yuraddu `Ilmu As-Sā`ati Wa Mā Takhruju Min Thamarātin Min 'Akmāmihā Wa Mā Taĥmilu Min 'Unthá Wa Lā Tađa`u 'Illā Bi`ilmihi Wa Yawma Yunādīhim 'Ayna Shurakā'ī Qālū 'Ādhannāka Mā Minnā Min Shahīdin
وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَدْعُونَ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ وَظَنُّوا مَا لَهُمْ مِنْ مَحِيصٍ 48
Translation
And lost from them what they were invoking before before and they (will) be certain (that) not for them any place of escape
Transliteration
Wa Đalla `Anhum Mā Kānū Yad`ūna Min Qablu Wa Žannū Mā Lahum Min Maĥīşin
لَا يَسْأَمُ الْإِنْسَانُ مِنْ دُعَاءِ الْخَيْرِ وَإِنْ مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَيَئُوسٌ قَنُوطٌ 49
Translation
(Does) not get tired man of praying (for) the good but if touches him the evil then he gives up hope (and) despairs
Transliteration
Lā Yas'amu Al-'Insānu Min Du`ā'i Al-Khayri Wa 'In Massahu Ash-Sharru Faya'ūsun Qanūţun
وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَاهُ رَحْمَةً مِنَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ ضَرَّاءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ هَٰذَا لِي وَمَا أَظُنُّ السَّاعَةَ قَائِمَةً وَلَئِنْ رُجِعْتُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّي إِنَّ لِي عِنْدَهُ لَلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِمَا عَمِلُوا وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُمْ مِنْ عَذَابٍ غَلِيظٍ 50
Translation
And verily, if We let him taste mercy from Us after after an adversity (has) touched him he will surely say This (is) (due) to me and not I think the Hour (will be) established and if I am returned to my Lord indeed for me with Him (will be) the best But We will surely inform those who disbelieved about what they did and We will surely make them taste of a punishment severe
Transliteration
Wa La'in 'Adhaqnāhu Raĥmatan Minnā Min Ba`di Đarrā'a Massat/hu Layaqūlanna Hādhā Lī Wa Mā 'Ažunnu As-Sā`ata Qā'imatan Wa La'in Ruji`tu 'Ilá Rabbī 'Inna Lī `Indahu Lalĥusná Falanunabbi'anna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bimā `Amilū Wa Lanudhīqannahum Min `Adhābin Ghalīžin
وَإِذَا أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الْإِنْسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَأَىٰ بِجَانِبِهِ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ فَذُو دُعَاءٍ عَرِيضٍ 51
Translation
And when We bestow favor upon man he turns away and distances himself and distances himself but when touches him the evil then (he is) full (of) supplication lengthy
Transliteration
Wa 'Idhā 'An`amnā `Alá Al-'Insāni 'A`rađa Wa Na'á Bijānibihi Wa 'Idhā Massahu Ash-Sharru Fadhū Du`ā'in `Arīđin
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كَانَ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ كَفَرْتُمْ بِهِ مَنْ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنْ هُوَ فِي شِقَاقٍ بَعِيدٍ 52
Translation
Say You see if it is from from Allah then you disbelieve in it who (is) more astray than (one) who he (is) in opposition far
Transliteration
Qul 'Ara'aytum 'In Kāna Min `Indi Allāhi Thumma Kafartum Bihi Man 'Ađallu Mimman Huwa Fī Shiqāqin Ba`īdin
سَنُرِيهِمْ آيَاتِنَا فِي الْآفَاقِ وَفِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَهُمْ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ ۗ أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِ بِرَبِّكَ أَنَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ 53
Translation
Soon We will show them Our Signs in the horizons and in themselves until becomes clear to them that it (is) the truth Is (it) not sufficient concerning your Lord that He (is) over all things a Witness
Transliteration
Sanurīhim 'Āyātinā Fī Al-'Āfāqi Wa Fī 'Anfusihim Ĥattá Yatabayyana Lahum 'Annahu Al-Ĥaqqu 'Awalam Yakfi Birabbika 'Annahu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Shahīdun
أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ فِي مِرْيَةٍ مِنْ لِقَاءِ رَبِّهِمْ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُحِيطٌ 54
Translation
Unquestionably they (are) in doubt about (the) meeting (with) their Lord Unquestionably indeed He (is) of all things encompassing
Transliteration
'Alā 'Innahum Fī Miryatin Min Liqā'i Rabbihim 'Alā 'Innahu Bikulli Shay'in Muĥīţun
