Translation
Ha Meem
Transliteration
&Ĥā-Mīm
وَالْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ 2
Translation
By the Book the clear
Transliteration
WWa Al-Kitābi Al-Mubīni
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَاهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ 3
Translation
Indeed We have made it a Quran (in) Arabic so that you may understand
Transliteration
'Innā Ja`alnāhu Qur'ānāan `Arabīyāan La`allakum Ta`qilūna
وَإِنَّهُ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ لَدَيْنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ 4
Translation
And indeed it (is) in (the) Mother (of) the Book with Us surely exalted full of wisdom
Transliteration
Wa 'Innahu Fī 'Ummi Al-Kitābi Ladaynā La`alīyun Ĥakīmun
أَفَنَضْرِبُ عَنْكُمُ الذِّكْرَ صَفْحًا أَنْ كُنْتُمْ قَوْمًا مُسْرِفِينَ 5
Translation
Then should We take away from you the Reminder disregarding (you) because you (are) a people transgressing
Transliteration
''Afanađribu `Ankumu Adh-Dhikra Şafĥāan 'An Kuntum Qawmāan Musrifīna
وَكَمْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ نَبِيٍّ فِي الْأَوَّلِينَ 6
Translation
And how many We sent of a Prophet among the former (people)
Transliteration
Wa Kam 'Arsalnā Min Nabīyin Fī Al-'Awwalīna
وَمَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ 7
Translation
And not came to them any Prophet any Prophet but they used (to) mock at him mock at him
Transliteration
Wa Mā Ya'tīhim Min Nabīyin 'Illā Kānū Bihi Yastahzi'ūn
فَأَهْلَكْنَا أَشَدَّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا وَمَضَىٰ مَثَلُ الْأَوَّلِينَ 8
Translation
Then We destroyed stronger than them (in) power and has passed (the) example (of) the former (people)
Transliteration
Fa'ahlaknā 'Ashadda Minhum Baţshāan Wa Mađá Mathalu Al-'Awwalīna
وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ خَلَقَهُنَّ الْعَزِيزُ الْعَلِيمُ 9
Translation
And if you ask them Who created the heavens and the earth They will surely say Has created them the All-Mighty the All-Knower
Transliteration
Wa La'in Sa'altahum Man Khalaqa As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđa Layaqūlunna Khalaqahunna Al-`Azīzu Al-`Alīmu
الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ مَهْدًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ فِيهَا سُبُلًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ 10
Translation
The One Who made for you the earth a bed and made for you therein roads so that you may be guided
Transliteration
Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Lakumu Al-'Arđa Mahdāan Wa Ja`ala Lakum Fīhā Subulāan La`allakum Tahtadūna
وَالَّذِي نَزَّلَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً بِقَدَرٍ فَأَنْشَرْنَا بِهِ بَلْدَةً مَيْتًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ 11
Translation
And the One Who sends down from the sky water in (due) measure then We revive with it a land dead thus you will be brought forth
Transliteration
WWa Al-Ladhī Nazzala Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Biqadarin Fa'ansharnā Bihi Baldatan Maytāan Kadhālika Tukhrajūna
وَالَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمْ مِنَ الْفُلْكِ وَالْأَنْعَامِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ 12
Translation
And the One Who created the pairs all of them and made for you [of] the ships and the cattle what you ride
Transliteration
WWa Al-Ladhī Khalaqa Al-'Azwāja Kullahā Wa Ja`ala Lakum Mina Al-Fulki Wa Al-'An`ām Mā Tarkabūna
لِتَسْتَوُوا عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا اسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ 13
Translation
That you may sit firmly on their backs then remember (the) favor (of) your Lord when you sit firmly on them and say Glory be (to) the One Who has subjected to us this and not we were of it capable
Transliteration
Litastawū `Alá Žuhūrihi Thumma Tadhkurū Ni`mata Rabbikum 'Idhā Astawaytum `Alayhi Wa Taqūlū Subĥāna Al-Ladhī Sakhkhara Lanā Hādhā Wa Mā Kunnā Lahu Muqrinīna
وَإِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ 14
Translation
And indeed we to our Lord will surely return
Transliteration
Wa 'Innā 'Ilá Rabbinā Lamunqalibūna
وَجَعَلُوا لَهُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ جُزْءًا ۚ إِنَّ الْإِنْسَانَ لَكَفُورٌ مُبِينٌ 15
Translation
But they attribute to Him from His slaves a portion Indeed man surely (is) clearly ungrateful surely (is) clearly ungrateful
Transliteration
Wa Ja`alū Lahu Min `Ibādihi Juz'āan 'Inna Al-'Insāna Lakafūrun Mubīnun
أَمِ اتَّخَذَ مِمَّا يَخْلُقُ بَنَاتٍ وَأَصْفَاكُمْ بِالْبَنِينَ 16
Translation
Or has He taken of what He has created daughters and He has chosen (for) you sons
Transliteration
'Am Attakhadha Mimmā Yakhluqu Banātin Wa 'Aşfākum Bil-Banīna
وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِمَا ضَرَبَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ مَثَلًا ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًّا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ 17
Translation
And when is given good news (to) one of them of what he sets up for the Most Gracious (as) a likeness becomes his face dark and he (is) filled with grief
Transliteration
Wa 'Idhā Bushshira 'Aĥaduhum Bimā Đaraba Lilrraĥmani Mathalāan Žalla Wajhuhu Muswaddāan Wa Huwa Kažīmun
أَوَمَنْ يُنَشَّأُ فِي الْحِلْيَةِ وَهُوَ فِي الْخِصَامِ غَيْرُ مُبِينٍ 18
Translation
Then (is one) who is brought up in ornaments and he in the dispute (is) not clear
Transliteration
''Awaman Yunashsha'u Fī Al-Ĥilyati Wa Huwa Fī Al-Khişāmi Ghayru Mubīnin
وَجَعَلُوا الْمَلَائِكَةَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ عِبَادُ الرَّحْمَٰنِ إِنَاثًا ۚ أَشَهِدُوا خَلْقَهُمْ ۚ سَتُكْتَبُ شَهَادَتُهُمْ وَيُسْأَلُونَ 19
Translation
And they made the Angels those who themselves (are) slaves (of) the Most Gracious females Did they witness their creation Will be recorded their testimony and they will be questioned
Transliteration
Wa Ja`alū Al-Malā'ikata Al-Ladhīna Hum `Ibādu Ar-Raĥmāni 'Ināthāan 'Ashahidū Khalqahum Satuktabu Shahādatuhum Wa Yus'alūna
وَقَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ مَا عَبَدْنَاهُمْ ۗ مَا لَهُمْ بِذَٰلِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ ۖ إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا يَخْرُصُونَ 20
Translation
And they say If had willed the Most Gracious we would not have worshipped them we would not have worshipped them Not they have about that any knowledge Nothing they (do) but lie
Transliteration
Wa Qālū Law Shā'a Ar-Raĥmānu Mā `Abadnāhum Mā Lahum Bidhālika Min `Ilmin 'In Hum 'Illā Yakhruşūna
أَمْ آتَيْنَاهُمْ كِتَابًا مِنْ قَبْلِهِ فَهُمْ بِهِ مُسْتَمْسِكُونَ 21
Translation
Or have We given them a book before it before it so they to it (are) holding fast
Transliteration
'Am 'Ātaynāhum Kitābāan Min Qablihi Fahum Bihi Mustamsikūna
بَلْ قَالُوا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا عَلَىٰ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ مُهْتَدُونَ 22
Translation
Nay they say Indeed we [we] found our forefathers upon a religion and indeed we on their footsteps (are) guided
Transliteration
Bal Qālū 'Innā Wajadnā 'Ābā'anā `Alá 'Ummatin Wa 'Innā `Alá 'Āthārihim Muhtadūna
وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَا أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فِي قَرْيَةٍ مِنْ نَذِيرٍ إِلَّا قَالَ مُتْرَفُوهَا إِنَّا وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا عَلَىٰ أُمَّةٍ وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِمْ مُقْتَدُونَ 23
Translation
And thus not We sent before you before you in a town any warner except said (the) wealthy ones of it Indeed, we [we] found our forefathers on a religion and indeed, we [on] their footsteps (are) following
Transliteration
Wa Kadhalika Mā 'Arsalnā Min Qablika Fī Qaryatin Min Nadhīrin 'Illā Qāla Mutrafūhā 'Innā Wajadnā 'Ābā'anā `Alá 'Ummatin Wa 'Innā `Alá 'Āthārihim Muqtadūna
۞ قَالَ أَوَلَوْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِأَهْدَىٰ مِمَّا وَجَدْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَكُمْ ۖ قَالُوا إِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ 24
Translation
He said Even if I brought you better guidance than what you found on it your forefathers They said Indeed we with what you are sent with [it] (are) disbelievers
Transliteration
Qāla 'Awalaw Ji'tukum Bi'ahdá Mimmā Wajadtum `Alayhi 'Ābā'akum Qālū 'Innā Bimā 'Ursiltum Bihi Kāfirūna
فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ ۖ فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ 25
Translation
So We took retribution from them Then see how was (the) end (of) the deniers
Transliteration
FFāntaqamnā Minhum Fānžur Kayfa Kāna `Āqibatu Al-Mukadhdhibīna
وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ إِنَّنِي بَرَاءٌ مِمَّا تَعْبُدُونَ 26
Translation
And when Ibrahim said Ibrahim said to his father and his people Indeed, I (am) disassociated from what you worship
Transliteration
Wa 'Idh Qāla 'Ibrāhīmu Li'abīhi Wa Qawmihi 'Innanī Barā'un Mimmā Ta`budūna
إِلَّا الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي فَإِنَّهُ سَيَهْدِينِ 27
Translation
Except the One Who created me; and indeed He will guide me
Transliteration
'Illā Al-Ladhī Faţaranī Fa'innahu Sayahdīni
وَجَعَلَهَا كَلِمَةً بَاقِيَةً فِي عَقِبِهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ 28
Translation
And he made it a word lasting among his descendents so that they may return
Transliteration
Wa Ja`alahā Kalimatan Bāqiyatan Fī `Aqibihi La`allahum Yarji`ūna
بَلْ مَتَّعْتُ هَٰؤُلَاءِ وَآبَاءَهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَاءَهُمُ الْحَقُّ وَرَسُولٌ مُبِينٌ 29
Translation
Nay I gave enjoyment (to) these and their forefathers until came to them the truth and a Messenger clear
Transliteration
Bal Matta`tu Hā'uulā' Wa 'Ābā'ahum Ĥattá Jā'ahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Wa Rasūlun Mubīnun
وَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمُ الْحَقُّ قَالُوا هَٰذَا سِحْرٌ وَإِنَّا بِهِ كَافِرُونَ 30
Translation
And when came to them the truth they said This (is) magic and indeed we of it (are) disbelievers
Transliteration
Wa Lammā Jā'ahumu Al-Ĥaqqu Qālū Hādhā Siĥrun Wa 'Innā Bihi Kāfirūna
وَقَالُوا لَوْلَا نُزِّلَ هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنُ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْقَرْيَتَيْنِ عَظِيمٍ 31
Translation
And they say Why not was sent down this the Quran to a man from the two towns great
Transliteration
Wa Qālū Lawlā Nuzzila Hādhā Al-Qur'ānu `Alá Rajulin Mina Al-Qaryatayni `Ažīmin
أَهُمْ يَقْسِمُونَ رَحْمَتَ رَبِّكَ ۚ نَحْنُ قَسَمْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ مَعِيشَتَهُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَرَفَعْنَا بَعْضَهُمْ فَوْقَ بَعْضٍ دَرَجَاتٍ لِيَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُهُمْ بَعْضًا سُخْرِيًّا ۗ وَرَحْمَتُ رَبِّكَ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا يَجْمَعُونَ 32
Translation
Do they distribute (the) Mercy (of) your Lord We [We] distribute among them their livelihood in the life (of) the world and We raise some of them above others (in) degrees so that may take some of them others (for) service But (the) Mercy (of) your Lord (is) better than what they accumulate
Transliteration
'Ahum Yaqsimūna Raĥmata Rabbika Naĥnu Qasamnā Baynahum Ma`īshatahum Fī Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Rafa`nā Ba`đahum Fawqa Ba`đin Darajātin Liyattakhidha Ba`đuhum Ba`đāan Sukhrīyāan Wa Raĥmatu Rabbika Khayrun Mimmā Yajma`ūna
وَلَوْلَا أَنْ يَكُونَ النَّاسُ أُمَّةً وَاحِدَةً لَجَعَلْنَا لِمَنْ يَكْفُرُ بِالرَّحْمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمْ سُقُفًا مِنْ فِضَّةٍ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيْهَا يَظْهَرُونَ 33
Translation
And if not that (would) become [the] mankind a community one We (would have) made for (one) who disbelieves in the Most Gracious for their houses roofs of silver and stairways upon which they mount
Transliteration
Wa Lawlā 'An Yakūna An-Nāsu 'Ummatan Wāĥidatan Laja`alnā Liman Yakfuru Bir-Raĥmani Libuyūtihim Suqufāan Min Fađđatin Wa Ma`ārija `Alayhā Yažharūna
وَلِبُيُوتِهِمْ أَبْوَابًا وَسُرُرًا عَلَيْهَا يَتَّكِئُونَ 34
Translation
And for their houses doors and couches upon which they recline
Transliteration
Wa Libuyūtihim 'Abwābāan Wa Sururāan `Alayhā Yattaki'ūna
وَزُخْرُفًا ۚ وَإِنْ كُلُّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمَّا مَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۚ وَالْآخِرَةُ عِنْدَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ 35
Translation
And ornaments of gold And not (is) all that but an enjoyment (of) the life (of) the world And the Hereafter with your Lord (is) for the righteous
Transliteration
Wa Zukhrufāan Wa 'In Kullu Dhālika Lammā Matā`u Al-Ĥayāati Ad-Dunyā Wa Al-'Ākhiratu `Inda Rabbika Lilmuttaqīna
وَمَنْ يَعْشُ عَنْ ذِكْرِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ نُقَيِّضْ لَهُ شَيْطَانًا فَهُوَ لَهُ قَرِينٌ 36
Translation
And whoever turns away from (the) remembrance (of) the Most Gracious We appoint for him a devil then he (is) to him a companion
Transliteration
Wa Man Ya`shu `An Dhikri Ar-Raĥmāni Nuqayyiđ Lahu Shayţānāan Fahuwa Lahu Qarīnun
وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ عَنِ السَّبِيلِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ مُهْتَدُونَ 37
Translation
And indeed they surely turn them away from the Path and they think that they (are) guided
Transliteration
Wa 'Innahum Layaşuddūnahum `Ani As-Sabīli Wa Yaĥsabūna 'Annahum Muhtadūna
حَتَّىٰ إِذَا جَاءَنَا قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ بُعْدَ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ فَبِئْسَ الْقَرِينُ 38
Translation
Until when he comes to Us he says O would that between me and between you (were the) distance (of) the East and the West How wretched is the companion!
Transliteration
Ĥattá 'Idhā Jā'anā Qāla Yā Layta Baynī Wa Baynaka Bu`da Al-Mashriqayni Fabi'sa Al-Qarīnu
وَلَنْ يَنْفَعَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ إِذْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنَّكُمْ فِي الْعَذَابِ مُشْتَرِكُونَ 39
Translation
And will never benefit you the Day when you have wronged that you (will be) in the punishment sharing
Transliteration
Wa Lan Yanfa`akumu Al-Yawma 'Idh Žalamtum 'Annakum Fī Al-`Adhābi Mushtarikūna
أَفَأَنْتَ تُسْمِعُ الصُّمَّ أَوْ تَهْدِي الْعُمْيَ وَمَنْ كَانَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ 40
Translation
Then can you cause to hear the deaf or guide the blind and (one) who is in an error clear
Transliteration
'Afa'anta Tusmi`u Aş-Şumma 'Aw Tahdī Al-`Umya Wa Man Kāna Fī Đalālin Mubīnin
فَإِمَّا نَذْهَبَنَّ بِكَ فَإِنَّا مِنْهُمْ مُنْتَقِمُونَ 41
Translation
And whether We take you away We take you away then indeed, We from them (will) take retribution
Transliteration
Fa'immā Nadh/habanna Bika Fa'innā Minhum Muntaqimūna
أَوْ نُرِيَنَّكَ الَّذِي وَعَدْنَاهُمْ فَإِنَّا عَلَيْهِمْ مُقْتَدِرُونَ 42
Translation
Or We show you that which We have promised them then indeed We over them have full power
Transliteration
'Aw Nuriyannaka Al-Ladhī Wa`adnāhum Fa'innā `Alayhim Muqtadirūna
فَاسْتَمْسِكْ بِالَّذِي أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ 43
Translation
So hold fast to that which is revealed to you Indeed you (are) on a Path Straight
Transliteration
Fāstamsik Bial-Ladhī 'Ūĥiya 'Ilayka 'Innaka `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
وَإِنَّهُ لَذِكْرٌ لَكَ وَلِقَوْمِكَ ۖ وَسَوْفَ تُسْأَلُونَ 44
Translation
And indeed it (is) surely a Reminder for you and your people and soon you will be questioned
Transliteration
Wa 'Innahu Ladhikrun Laka Wa Liqawmika Wa Sawfa Tus'alūna
وَاسْأَلْ مَنْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ مِنْ رُسُلِنَا أَجَعَلْنَا مِنْ دُونِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ آلِهَةً يُعْبَدُونَ 45
Translation
And ask (those) whom We sent before you before you of Our Messengers did We make besides besides the Most Gracious gods to be worshipped
Transliteration
Wa As'al Man 'Arsalnā Min Qablika Min Rusulinā 'Aja`alnā Min Dūni Ar-Raĥmāni 'Ālihatan Yu`badūna
وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مُوسَىٰ بِآيَاتِنَا إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَلَئِهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ 46
Translation
And certainly We sent Musa with Our Signs to Firaun and his chiefs and he said Indeed I am a Messenger (of the) Lord (of) the worlds
Transliteration
Wa Laqad 'Arsalnā Mūsá Bi'āyātinā 'Ilá Fir`awna Wa Mala'ihi Faqāla 'Innī Rasūlu Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna
فَلَمَّا جَاءَهُمْ بِآيَاتِنَا إِذَا هُمْ مِنْهَا يَضْحَكُونَ 47
Translation
But when he came to them with Our Signs behold! They at them laughed
Transliteration
FFalammā Jā'ahum Bi'āyātinā 'Idhā Hum Minhā Yađĥakūna
وَمَا نُرِيهِمْ مِنْ آيَةٍ إِلَّا هِيَ أَكْبَرُ مِنْ أُخْتِهَا ۖ وَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ 48
Translation
And not We showed them of a Sign but it (was) greater than its sister and We seized them with the punishment so that they may return
Transliteration
Wa Mā Nurīhim Min 'Āyatin 'Illā Hiya 'Akbaru Min 'Ukhtihā Wa 'Akhadhnāhum Bil-`Adhābi La`allahum Yarji`ūna
وَقَالُوا يَا أَيُّهَ السَّاحِرُ ادْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ بِمَا عَهِدَ عِنْدَكَ إِنَّنَا لَمُهْتَدُونَ 49
Translation
And they said O [the] magician! Invoke for us your Lord by what He has made covenant with you Indeed we (will) surely be guided
Transliteration
Wa Qālū Yā 'Ayyuhā As-Sāĥiru Ad`u Lanā Rabbaka Bimā `Ahida `Indaka 'Innanā Lamuhtadūn
فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمْ يَنْكُثُونَ 50
Translation
But when We removed from them the punishment behold! They broke (their word)
Transliteration
FFalammā Kashafnā `Anhumu Al-`Adhāba 'Idhā Hum Yankuthūna
وَنَادَىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي قَوْمِهِ قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَلَيْسَ لِي مُلْكُ مِصْرَ وَهَٰذِهِ الْأَنْهَارُ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِي ۖ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ 51
Translation
And called out Firaun among his people he said O my people Is not for me (the) kingdom (of) Egypt and these [the] rivers flowing underneath me underneath me Then do not you see
Transliteration
Wa Nādá Fir`awnu Fī Qawmihi Qāla Yā Qawmi 'Alaysa Lī Mulku Mişra Wa Hadhihi Al-'Anhāru Tajrī Min Taĥtī 'Afalā Tubşirūna
أَمْ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ هَٰذَا الَّذِي هُوَ مَهِينٌ وَلَا يَكَادُ يُبِينُ 52
Translation
Or am I better than this one who he (is) insignificant and hardly and hardly clear
Transliteration
'Am 'Anā Khayrun Min Hādhā Al-Ladhī Huwa Mahīnun Wa Lā Yakādu Yubīnu
فَلَوْلَا أُلْقِيَ عَلَيْهِ أَسْوِرَةٌ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ أَوْ جَاءَ مَعَهُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ مُقْتَرِنِينَ 53
Translation
Then why not are placed on him bracelets of gold or come with him the Angels accompanying (him)
Transliteration
Falawlā 'Ulqiya `Alayhi 'Aswiratun Min Dhahabin 'Aw Jā'a Ma`ahu Al-Malā'ikatu Muqtarinīna
فَاسْتَخَفَّ قَوْمَهُ فَأَطَاعُوهُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ 54
Translation
So he bluffed his people and they obeyed him Indeed they were a people defiantly disobedient
Transliteration
Fāstakhaffa Qawmahu Fa'aţā`ūhu 'Innahum Kānū Qawmāan Fāsiqīna
فَلَمَّا آسَفُونَا انْتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ 55
Translation
So when they angered Us We took retribution from them and We drowned them all
Transliteration
FFalammā 'Āsafūnā Antaqamnā Minhum Fa'aghraqnāhum 'Ajma`īna
فَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ سَلَفًا وَمَثَلًا لِلْآخِرِينَ 56
Translation
And We made them a precedent and an example for the later (generations)
Transliteration
FFaja`alnāhum Salafāan Wa Mathalāan Lil'ākhirīna
۞ وَلَمَّا ضُرِبَ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ مَثَلًا إِذَا قَوْمُكَ مِنْهُ يَصِدُّونَ 57
Translation
And when is presented (the) son (of) Maryam (as) an example behold! Your people about it laughed aloud
Transliteration
Wa Lammā Đuriba Abnu Maryama Mathalāan 'Idhā Qawmuka Minhu Yaşiddūna
وَقَالُوا أَآلِهَتُنَا خَيْرٌ أَمْ هُوَ ۚ مَا ضَرَبُوهُ لَكَ إِلَّا جَدَلًا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ خَصِمُونَ 58
Translation
And they said Are our gods better or he Not they present it to you except (for) argument Nay they (are) a people argumentative
Transliteration
Wa Qālū 'A'ālihatunā Khayrun 'Am Huwa Mā Đarabūhu Laka 'Illā Jadalāan Bal Hum Qawmun Khaşimūna
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَيْهِ وَجَعَلْنَاهُ مَثَلًا لِبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ 59
Translation
Not he (was) except a slave We bestowed Our favor on him and We made him an example for (the) Children of Israel for (the) Children of Israel
Transliteration
'In Huwa 'Illā `Abdun 'An`amnā `Alayhi Wa Ja`alnāhu Mathalāan Libanī 'Isrā'īla
وَلَوْ نَشَاءُ لَجَعَلْنَا مِنْكُمْ مَلَائِكَةً فِي الْأَرْضِ يَخْلُفُونَ 60
Translation
And if We willed surely We (could have) made among you Angels in the earth succeeding
Transliteration
Wa Law Nashā'u Laja`alnā Minkum Malā'ikatan Fī Al-'Arđi Yakhlufūna
وَإِنَّهُ لَعِلْمٌ لِلسَّاعَةِ فَلَا تَمْتَرُنَّ بِهَا وَاتَّبِعُونِ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ 61
Translation
And indeed it surely (is) a knowledge of the Hour So (do) not (be) doubtful about it and follow Me This (is the) Path Straight
Transliteration
Wa 'Innahu La`ilmun Lilssā`ati Falā Tamtarunna Bihā Wa Attabi`ūnī Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun
وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ 62
Translation
And (let) not avert you the Shaitaan Indeed he (is) for you an enemy clear
Transliteration
Wa Lā Yaşuddannakumu Ash-Shayţānu 'Innahu Lakum `Adūwun Mubīnun
وَلَمَّا جَاءَ عِيسَىٰ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالَ قَدْ جِئْتُكُمْ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَلِأُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي تَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ 63
Translation
And when came Isa with clear proofs he said Verily I have come to you with wisdom and that I make clear to you some (of) that which you differ in it So fear Allah and obey me
Transliteration
Wa Lammā Jā'a `Īsá Bil-Bayyināti Qāla Qad Ji'tukum Bil-Ĥikmati Wa Li'abayyina Lakum Ba`đa Al-Ladhī Takhtalifūna Fīhi Fa Attaqū Allāha Wa 'Aţī`ūni
إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمْ فَاعْبُدُوهُ ۚ هَٰذَا صِرَاطٌ مُسْتَقِيمٌ 64
Translation
Indeed Allah He (is) my Lord and your Lord so worship Him This (is) a Path Straight
Transliteration
'Inna Allāha Huwa Rabbī Wa Rabbukum Fā`budūhu Hādhā Şirāţun Mustaqīmun
فَاخْتَلَفَ الْأَحْزَابُ مِنْ بَيْنِهِمْ ۖ فَوَيْلٌ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمٍ أَلِيمٍ 65
Translation
But differed the factions from among them so woe to those who wronged from (the) punishment (of the) Day painful
Transliteration
Fākhtalafa Al-'Aĥzābu Min Baynihim Fawaylun Lilladhīna Žalamū Min `Adhābi Yawmin 'Alīmin
هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا السَّاعَةَ أَنْ تَأْتِيَهُمْ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ 66
Translation
Are they waiting except (for) the Hour that it should come on them suddenly while they (do) not perceive
Transliteration
Hal Yanžurūna 'Illā As-Sā`ata 'An Ta'tiyahum Baghtatan Wa Hum Lā Yash`urūna
الْأَخِلَّاءُ يَوْمَئِذٍ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقِينَ 67
Translation
Friends that Day some of them to others (will be) enemies except the righteous
Transliteration
AAl-'Akhillā'u Yawma'idhin Ba`đuhum Liba`đin `Adūwun 'Illā Al-Muttaqīna
يَا عِبَادِ لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَا أَنْتُمْ تَحْزَنُونَ 68
Translation
O My slaves! No fear on you this Day and not you will grieve
Transliteration
Yā `Ibādi Lā Khawfun `Alaykumu Al-Yawma Wa Lā 'Antum Taĥzanūna
الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِآيَاتِنَا وَكَانُوا مُسْلِمِينَ 69
Translation
Those who believed in Our Verses and were submissive
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Bi'āyātinā Wa Kānū Muslimīna
ادْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ أَنْتُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُكُمْ تُحْبَرُونَ 70
Translation
Enter Paradise you and your spouses delighted
Transliteration
Adkhulū Al-Jannata 'Antum Wa 'Azwājukum Tuĥbarūna
يُطَافُ عَلَيْهِمْ بِصِحَافٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ وَأَكْوَابٍ ۖ وَفِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِيهِ الْأَنْفُسُ وَتَلَذُّ الْأَعْيُنُ ۖ وَأَنْتُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ 71
Translation
Will be circulated for them plates of gold and cups And therein (is) what desires the souls and delights the eyes and you therein will abide forever
Transliteration
Yuţāfu `Alayhim Bişiĥāfin Min Dhahabin Wa 'Akwābin Wa Fīhā Mā Tashtahīhi Al-'Anfusu Wa Taladhdhu Al-'A`yunu Wa 'Antum Fīhā Khālidūna
وَتِلْكَ الْجَنَّةُ الَّتِي أُورِثْتُمُوهَا بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 72
Translation
And this (is) the Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used (to) do
Transliteration
Wa Tilka Al-Jannatu Allatī 'Ūrithtumūhā Bimā Kuntum Ta`malūna
لَكُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ كَثِيرَةٌ مِنْهَا تَأْكُلُونَ 73
Translation
For you therein (are) fruits abundant from it you will eat
Transliteration
Lakum Fīhā Fākihatun Kathīratun Minhā Ta'kulūna
إِنَّ الْمُجْرِمِينَ فِي عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدُونَ 74
Translation
Indeed the criminals (will be) in (the) punishment (of) Hell abiding forever
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Mujrimīna Fī `Adhābi Jahannama Khālidūn
لَا يُفَتَّرُ عَنْهُمْ وَهُمْ فِيهِ مُبْلِسُونَ 75
Translation
Not will it subside for them and they in it (will) despair
Transliteration
Lā Yufattaru `Anhum Wa Hum Fīhi Mublisūna
وَمَا ظَلَمْنَاهُمْ وَلَٰكِنْ كَانُوا هُمُ الظَّالِمِينَ 76
Translation
And not We wronged them but they were themselves wrongdoers
Transliteration
Wa Mā Žalamnāhum Wa Lakin Kānū Humu Až-Žālimīna
وَنَادَوْا يَا مَالِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ مَاكِثُونَ 77
Translation
And they will call O Malik! Let put an end to us your Lord He (will) say Indeed you (will) remain
Transliteration
Wa Nādaw Yā Māliku Liyaqđi `Alaynā Rabbuka Qāla 'Innakum Mākithūna
لَقَدْ جِئْنَاكُمْ بِالْحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَكُمْ لِلْحَقِّ كَارِهُونَ 78
Translation
Certainly We have brought you the truth but most of you to the truth (are) averse
Transliteration
LLaqad Ji'nākum Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Lakinna 'Aktharakum Lilĥaqqi Kārihūna
أَمْ أَبْرَمُوا أَمْرًا فَإِنَّا مُبْرِمُونَ 79
Translation
Or have they determined an affair Then indeed We (are) determined
Transliteration
'Am 'Abramū 'Amrāan Fa'innā Mubrimūna
أَمْ يَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّا لَا نَسْمَعُ سِرَّهُمْ وَنَجْوَاهُمْ ۚ بَلَىٰ وَرُسُلُنَا لَدَيْهِمْ يَكْتُبُونَ 80
Translation
Or (do) they think that We (can) not hear their secret(s) and their private counsel(s) Nay and Our Messengers with them are recording
Transliteration
'Am Yaĥsabūna 'Annā Lā Nasma`u Sirrahum Wa Najwāhum Balá Wa Rusulunā Ladayhim Yaktubūna
قُلْ إِنْ كَانَ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدٌ فَأَنَا أَوَّلُ الْعَابِدِينَ 81
Translation
Say If had the Most Gracious a son Then I (would be the) first (of) the worshippers
Transliteration
Qul 'In Kāna Lilrraĥmani Waladun Fa'anā 'Awwalu Al-`Ābidīna
سُبْحَانَ رَبِّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ 82
Translation
Glory be (to the) Lord (of) the heavens and the earth (the) Lord (of) the Throne above what they ascribe
Transliteration
Subĥāna Rabbi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Rabbi Al-`Arshi `Ammā Yaşifūna
فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يُلَاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ 83
Translation
So leave them (to) converse vainly and play until they meet their Day which they are promised
Transliteration
Fadharhum Yakhūđū Wa Yal`abū Ĥattá Yulāqū Yawmahumu Al-Ladhī Yū`adūna
وَهُوَ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاءِ إِلَٰهٌ وَفِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَٰهٌ ۚ وَهُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ 84
Translation
And He (is) the One Who (is) in the heaven - God and in the earth - God And He (is) the All-Wise the All-Knower
Transliteration
Wa Huwa Al-Ladhī Fī As-Samā'i 'Ilahun Wa Fī Al-'Arđi 'Ilahun Wa Huwa Al-Ĥakīmu Al-`Alīmu
وَتَبَارَكَ الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَعِنْدَهُ عِلْمُ السَّاعَةِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ 85
Translation
And blessed is the One Who - to Whom (belongs the) dominion (of) the heavens and the earth and whatever (is) between both of them and with Him (is the) knowledge (of) the Hour and to Him you will be returned
Transliteration
Wa Tabāraka Al-Ladhī Lahu Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā Wa `Indahu `Ilmu As-Sā`ati Wa 'Ilayhi Turja`ūna
وَلَا يَمْلِكُ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنْ شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ 86
Translation
And not have power those whom they invoke besides Him besides Him (for) the intercession except who testifies to the truth and they know
Transliteration
Wa Lā Yamliku Al-Ladhīna Yad`ūna Min Dūnihi Ash-Shafā`ata 'Illā Man Shahida Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa Hum Ya`lamūna
وَلَئِنْ سَأَلْتَهُمْ مَنْ خَلَقَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ يُؤْفَكُونَ 87
Translation
And if you ask them who created them they will certainly say Allah Then how are they deluded
Transliteration
Wa La'in Sa'altahum Man Khalaqahum Layaqūlunna Allāhu Fa'anná Yu'ufakūna
وَقِيلِهِ يَا رَبِّ إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمٌ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ 88
Translation
And his saying O my Lord! Indeed these (are) a people (who do) not believe
Transliteration
Wa Qīlihi Yā Rabbi 'Inna Hā'uulā' Qawmun Lā Yu'uminūna
فَاصْفَحْ عَنْهُمْ وَقُلْ سَلَامٌ ۚ فَسَوْفَ يَعْلَمُونَ 89
Translation
So turn away from them and say Peace But soon they will know
Transliteration
FFāşfaĥ `Anhum Wa Qul Salāmun Fasawfa Ya`lamūna
