Al-Ĥujurāt The Rooms

﷽
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُقَدِّمُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ 1 
Translation
O you who believe O you who believe O you who believe (Do) not put (yourselves) forward before Allah before Allah before Allah and His Messenger and fear Allah and fear Allah Indeed Allah (is) All-Hearer All-Knower
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tuqaddimū Bayna Yadayi Allāhi Wa Rasūlihi Wa Attaqū Allāha 'Inna Allāha Samī`un `Alīmun
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَرْفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ النَّبِيِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا لَهُ بِالْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَنْ تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَالُكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ 2 
Translation
O you who believe O you who believe O you who believe (Do) not raise your voices above (the) voice (of) the Prophet and (do) not be loud to him in speech like (the) loudness (of) some of you to others lest become worthless your deeds while you (do) not perceive
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tarfa`ū 'Aşwātakum Fawqa Şawti An-Nabīyi Wa Lā Tajharū Lahu Bil-Qawli Kajahri Ba`đikum Liba`đin 'An Taĥbaţa 'A`mālukum Wa 'Antum Lā Tash`urūna
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ أَصْوَاتَهُمْ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُولَٰئِكَ الَّذِينَ امْتَحَنَ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ ۚ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ 3 
Translation
Indeed those who lower their voices (in) presence (of the) Messenger of Allah (of the) Messenger of Allah those (are) the ones Allah has tested Allah has tested their hearts for righteousness For them (is) forgiveness and a reward great
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yaghuđđūna 'Aşwātahum `Inda Rasūli Allāhi 'Ūlā'ika Al-Ladhīna Amtaĥana Allāhu Qulūbahum Lilttaqwá Lahum Maghfiratun Wa 'Ajrun `Ažīmun
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْحُجُرَاتِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ 4 
Translation
Indeed those who call you from behind the private chambers most of them (do) not understand
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yunādūnaka Min Warā'i Al-Ĥujurāti 'Aktharuhum Lā Ya`qilūna
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا حَتَّىٰ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ 5 
Translation
And if they had been patient until you came out to them certainly it would be better for them And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful
Transliteration
Wa Law 'Annahum Şabarū Ĥattá Takhruja 'Ilayhim Lakāna Khayrāan Lahum Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ جَاءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوا أَنْ تُصِيبُوا قَوْمًا بِجَهَالَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَادِمِينَ 6 
Translation
O you who believe O you who believe O you who believe If comes to you a wicked person with information investigate lest you harm a people in ignorance then you become over what you have done regretful
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'In Jā'akum Fāsiqun Binaba'iin Fatabayyanū 'An Tuşībū Qawmāan Bijahālatin Fatuşbiĥū `Alá Mā Fa`altum Nādimīna
وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ۚ لَوْ يُطِيعُكُمْ فِي كَثِيرٍ مِنَ الْأَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْإِيمَانَ وَزَيَّنَهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الرَّاشِدُونَ 7 
Translation
And know that among you (is the) Messenger of Allah (is the) Messenger of Allah If he were to obey you in much of the matter surely you would be in difficulty but Allah has endeared to you the Faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief and defiance and disobedience Those (are) they the guided ones
Transliteration
Wa A`lamū 'Anna Fīkum Rasūla Allāhi Law Yuţī`ukum Fī Kathīrin Mina Al-'Amri La`anittum Wa Lakinna Allāha Ĥabbaba 'Ilaykumu Al-'Īmāna Wa Zayyanahu Fī Qulūbikum Wa Karraha 'Ilaykumu Al-Kufra Wa Al-Fusūqa Wa Al-`Işyāna 'Ūlā'ika Humu Ar-Rāshidūna
فَضْلًا مِنَ اللَّهِ وَنِعْمَةً ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ 8 
Translation
A Bounty from Allah from Allah and favor And Allah (is) All-Knower All-Wise
Transliteration
Fađlāan Mina Allāhi Wa Ni`matan Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun
وَإِنْ طَائِفَتَانِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ اقْتَتَلُوا فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَإِنْ بَغَتْ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَىٰ فَقَاتِلُوا الَّتِي تَبْغِي حَتَّىٰ تَفِيءَ إِلَىٰ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَإِنْ فَاءَتْ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا بِالْعَدْلِ وَأَقْسِطُوا ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ 9 
Translation
And if two parties among the believers fight then make peace between both of them But if oppresses one of them on the other then fight one which oppresses until it returns to (the) command (of) Allah Then if it returns then make peace between them with justice and act justly Indeed Allah loves those who act justly
Transliteration
Wa 'In Ţā'ifatāni Mina Al-Mu'uminīna Aqtatalū Fa'aşliĥū Baynahumā Fa'in Baghat 'Iĥdāhumā `Alá Al-'Ukhrá Faqātilū Allatī Tabghī Ĥattá Tafī'a 'Ilá 'Amri Allāhi Fa'in Fā'at Fa'aşliĥū Baynahumā Bil-`Adli Wa 'Aqsiţū 'Inna Allāha Yuĥibbu Al-Muqsiţīna
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ 10 
Translation
Only the believers (are) brothers so make peace between your brothers and fear Allah and fear Allah so that you may receive mercy
Transliteration
'Innamā Al-Mu'uminūna 'Ikhwatun Fa'aşliĥū Bayna 'Akhawaykum Wa Attaqū Allāha La`allakum Turĥamūna
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِنْ قَوْمٍ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَكُونُوا خَيْرًا مِنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَاءٌ مِنْ نِسَاءٍ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِنْهُنَّ ۖ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا بِالْأَلْقَابِ ۖ بِئْسَ الِاسْمُ الْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ الْإِيمَانِ ۚ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَتُبْ فَأُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ 11 
Translation
O you who believe O you who believe O you who believe (Let) not ridicule a people [of] (another) people perhaps that they may be better than them and (let) not women [of] (other) women perhaps that they may be better than them And (do) not insult yourselves and (do) not call each other by nicknames Wretched is the name (of) disobedience after the faith And whoever (does) not repent then those they (are) the wrongdoers
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Yaskhar Qawmun Min Qawmin `Asá 'An Yakūnū Khayrāan Minhum Wa Lā Nisā'un Min Nisā'in `Asá 'An Yakunna Khayrāan Minhunna Wa Lā Talmizū 'Anfusakum Wa Lā Tanābazū Bil-'Alqābi Bi'sa Al-Aismu Al-Fusūqu Ba`da Al-'Īmāni Wa Man Lam Yatub Fa'ūlā'ika Humu Až-Žālimūna
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اجْتَنِبُوا كَثِيرًا مِنَ الظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ الظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ ۖ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا وَلَا يَغْتَبْ بَعْضُكُمْ بَعْضًا ۚ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ رَحِيمٌ 12 
Translation
O you who believe O you who believe O you who believe Avoid much of the assumption Indeed some assumption (is) sin And (do) not spy and (do) not backbite some of you (to) others Would like one of you to eat (the) flesh (of) his brother dead Nay, you would hate it And fear Allah And fear Allah indeed Allah (is) Oft-Returning Most Merciful
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Ajtanibū Kathīrāan Mina Až-Žanni 'Inna Ba`đa Až-Žanni 'Ithmun Wa Lā Tajassasū Wa Lā Yaghtab Ba`đukum Ba`đāan 'Ayuĥibbu 'Aĥadukum 'An Ya'kula Laĥma 'Akhīhi Maytāan Fakarihtumūhu Wa Attaqū Allāha 'Inna Allāha Tawwābun Raĥīmun
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ مِنْ ذَكَرٍ وَأُنْثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ 13 
Translation
O mankind O mankind Indeed, We created you from a male and a female and We made you nations and tribes that you may know one another Indeed (the) most noble of you near Allah (is the) most righteous of you Indeed Allah (is) All-Knower All-Aware
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā An-Nāsu 'Innā Khalaqnākum Min Dhakarin Wa 'Unthá Wa Ja`alnākum Shu`ūbāan Wa Qabā'ila Lita`ārafū 'Inna 'Akramakum `Inda Allāhi 'Atqākum 'Inna Allāha `Alīmun Khabīrun
۞ قَالَتِ الْأَعْرَابُ آمَنَّا ۖ قُلْ لَمْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَلَٰكِنْ قُولُوا أَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ الْإِيمَانُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ تُطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ لَا يَلِتْكُمْ مِنْ أَعْمَالِكُمْ شَيْئًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ 14 
Translation
Say the Bedouins We believe Say Not you believe; but say We have submitted and has not yet entered the faith in your hearts But if you obey Allah and His Messenger not He will deprive you of your deeds anything Indeed Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful
Transliteration
Qālati Al-'A`rābu 'Āmannā Qul Lam Tu'uminū Wa Lakin Qūlū 'Aslamnā Wa Lammā Yadkhuli Al-'Īmānu Fī Qulūbikum Wa 'In Tuţī`ū Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Lā Yalitkum Min 'A`mālikum Shay'āan 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الصَّادِقُونَ 15 
Translation
Only the believers (are) those who believe in Allah and His Messenger then (do) not doubt but strive with their wealth and their lives in (the) way (of) Allah Those [they] (are) the truthful
Transliteration
'Innamā Al-Mu'uminūna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Billāhi Wa Rasūlihi Thumma Lam Yartābū Wa Jāhadū Bi'amwālihim Wa 'Anfusihim Fī Sabīli Allāhi 'Ūlā'ika Humu Aş-Şādiqūna
قُلْ أَتُعَلِّمُونَ اللَّهَ بِدِينِكُمْ وَاللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ 16 
Translation
Say Will you acquaint Allah with your religion while Allah knows what (is) in the heavens and what (is) in the earth And Allah of every thing (is) All-Knower
Transliteration
Qul 'Atu`allimūna Allāha Bidīnikum Wa Allāhu Ya`lamu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Allāhu Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun
يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا ۖ قُلْ لَا تَمُنُّوا عَلَيَّ إِسْلَامَكُمْ ۖ بَلِ اللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَاكُمْ لِلْإِيمَانِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ 17 
Translation
They consider (it) a favor to you that they have accepted Islam Say (Do) not consider a favor to me - your Islam Nay Allah has conferred a favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith if you are truthful
Transliteration
Yamunnūna `Alayka 'An 'Aslamū Qul Lā Tamunnū `Alayya 'Islāmakum Bali Allāhu Yamunnu `Alaykum 'An Hadākum Lil'īmāni 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna
إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ 18 
Translation
Indeed Allah knows (the) unseen (of) the heavens and the earth And Allah (is) All-Seer of what you do
Transliteration
'Inna Allāha Ya`lamu Ghayba As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Allāhu Başīrun Bimā Ta`malūna
