Al-Mujādila The Pleading Woman

﷽
قَدْ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ قَوْلَ الَّتِي تُجَادِلُكَ فِي زَوْجِهَا وَتَشْتَكِي إِلَى اللَّهِ وَاللَّهُ يَسْمَعُ تَحَاوُرَكُمَا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ 1 
Translation
Indeed Allah has heard Allah has heard (the) speech (of) one who disputes with you concerning her husband and she directs her complaint to Allah And Allah hears (the) dialogue of both of you Indeed Allah (is) All-Hearer All-Seer
Transliteration
QQad Sami`a Allāhu Qawla Allatī Tujādiluka Fī Zawjihā Wa Tashtakī 'Ilá Allāhi Wa Allāhu Yasma`u Taĥāwurakumā 'Inna Allāha Samī`un Başīrun
الَّذِينَ يُظَاهِرُونَ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ مَا هُنَّ أُمَّهَاتِهِمْ ۖ إِنْ أُمَّهَاتُهُمْ إِلَّا اللَّائِي وَلَدْنَهُمْ ۚ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَقُولُونَ مُنْكَرًا مِنَ الْقَوْلِ وَزُورًا ۚ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَعَفُوٌّ غَفُورٌ 2 
Translation
Those who pronounce zihar among you [from] (to) their wives not they (are) their mothers Not (are) their mothers except those who gave them birth And indeed they surely say an evil [of] [the] word and a lie But indeed Allah (is) surely Oft-Pardoning Oft-Forgiving
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna Yužāhirūna Minkum Min Nisā'ihim Mā Hunna 'Ummahātihim 'In 'Ummahātuhum 'Illā Al-Lā'ī Waladnahum Wa 'Innahum Layaqūlūna Munkarāan Mina Al-Qawli Wa Zūrāan Wa 'Inna Allāha La`afūwun Ghafūrun
وَالَّذِينَ يُظَاهِرُونَ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا قَالُوا فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَتَمَاسَّا ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ تُوعَظُونَ بِهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ 3 
Translation
And those who pronounce zihar [from] (to) their wives then go back on what they said then freeing (of) a slave before before [that] they touch each other That you are admonished to it And Allah of what you do (is) All-Aware
Transliteration
Wa Al-Ladhīna Yužāhirūna Min Nisā'ihim Thumma Ya`ūdūna Limā Qālū Fataĥrīru Raqabatin Min Qabli 'An Yatamāssā Dhālikum Tū`ažūna Bihi Wa Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Khabīrun
فَمَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَتَمَاسَّا ۖ فَمَنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ فَإِطْعَامُ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِينًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِتُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ۚ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ ۗ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ 4 
Translation
Then whoever (does) not find then fasting (for) two months consecutively before before [that] they both touch each other But (he) who not is able then (the) feeding (of) sixty needy one(s) That so that you may believe in Allah and His Messenger and these (are the) limits (of) Allah and for the disbelievers (is) a punishment painful
Transliteration
FFaman Lam Yajid Faşiyāmu Shahrayni Mutatābi`ayni Min Qabli 'An Yatamāssā Faman Lam Yastaţi` Fa'iţ`āmu Sittīna Miskīnāan Dhālika Litu'uminū Billāhi Wa Rasūlihi Wa Tilka Ĥudūdu Allāhi Wa Lilkāfirīna `Adhābun 'Alīmun
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحَادُّونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ كُبِتُوا كَمَا كُبِتَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ وَقَدْ أَنْزَلْنَا آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ ۚ وَلِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌ 5 
Translation
Indeed those who oppose Allah and His Messenger (will) be disgraced as were disgraced those before them before them And certainly We have sent down Verses clear And for the disbelievers (is) a punishment humiliating
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yuĥāddūna Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Kubitū Kamā Kubita Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Wa Qad 'Anzalnā 'Āyātin Bayyinātin Wa Lilkāfirīna `Adhābun Muhīnun
يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا فَيُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا عَمِلُوا ۚ أَحْصَاهُ اللَّهُ وَنَسُوهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ 6 
Translation
(On the) Day (when) Allah will raise them (when) Allah will raise them all and inform them of what they did Allah has recorded it Allah has recorded it while they forgot it And Allah (is) over all things a Witness
Transliteration
Yawma Yab`athuhumu Allāhu Jamī`āan Fayunabbi'uhum Bimā `Amilū 'Aĥşāhu Allāhu Wa Nasūhu Wa Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Shahīdun
أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ مَا يَكُونُ مِنْ نَجْوَىٰ ثَلَاثَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ رَابِعُهُمْ وَلَا خَمْسَةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ سَادِسُهُمْ وَلَا أَدْنَىٰ مِنْ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَا أَكْثَرَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَعَهُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كَانُوا ۖ ثُمَّ يُنَبِّئُهُمْ بِمَا عَمِلُوا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ 7 
Translation
Do not you see that Allah knows whatever (is) in the heavens and whatever (is) in the earth Not there is any secret counsel (of) three but He (is) (the) fourth of them and not five but He (is) (the) sixth of them and not less than that and not more but He (is) with them wherever wherever they are Then He will inform them of what they did (on the) Day (of) the Resurrection Indeed Allah of every thing (is) All-Knower
Transliteration
'Alam Tará 'Anna Allāha Ya`lamu Mā Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Mā Yakūnu Min Najwá Thalāthatin 'Illā Huwa Rābi`uhum Wa Lā Khamsatin 'Illā Huwa Sādisuhum Wa Lā 'Adná Min Dhālika Wa Lā 'Akthara 'Illā Huwa Ma`ahum 'Ayna Mā Kānū Thumma Yunabbi'uhum Bimā `Amilū Yawma Al-Qiyāmati 'Inna Allāha Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun
أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ نُهُوا عَنِ النَّجْوَىٰ ثُمَّ يَعُودُونَ لِمَا نُهُوا عَنْهُ وَيَتَنَاجَوْنَ بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ وَإِذَا جَاءُوكَ حَيَّوْكَ بِمَا لَمْ يُحَيِّكَ بِهِ اللَّهُ وَيَقُولُونَ فِي أَنْفُسِهِمْ لَوْلَا يُعَذِّبُنَا اللَّهُ بِمَا نَقُولُ ۚ حَسْبُهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ يَصْلَوْنَهَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ 8 
Translation
Do not you see [to] those who were forbidden from secret counsels then they return to what they were forbidden from [it] and they hold secret counsels for sin and aggression and disobedience (to) the Messenger And when they come to you they greet you with what not greets you therewith Allah and they say among themselves Why (does) not Allah punish us Allah punish us for what we say Sufficient (for) them (is) Hell they will burn in it and worst is the destination
Transliteration
'Alam Tará 'Ilá Al-Ladhīna Nuhū `Ani An-Najwá Thumma Ya`ūdūna Limā Nuhū `Anhu Wa Yatanājawna Bil-'Ithmi Wa Al-`Udwāni Wa Ma`şiyati Ar-Rasūli Wa 'Idhā Jā'ūka Ĥayyawka Bimā Lam Yuĥayyika Bihi Allāhu Wa Yaqūlūna Fī 'Anfusihim Lawlā Yu`adhdhibunā Allāhu Bimā Naqūlu Ĥasbuhum Jahannamu Yaşlawnahā Fabi'sa Al-Maşīru
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا تَنَاجَيْتُمْ فَلَا تَتَنَاجَوْا بِالْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَمَعْصِيَتِ الرَّسُولِ وَتَنَاجَوْا بِالْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ الَّذِي إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ 9 
Translation
O you who believe O you who believe O you who believe When you hold secret counsel then (do) not hold secret counsel for sin and aggression and disobedience (to) the Messenger but hold secret counsel for righteousness and piety And fear Allah the One Who to Him you will be gathered
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Idhā Tanājaytum Falā Tatanājaw Bil-'Ithmi Wa Al-`Udwāni Wa Ma`şiyati Ar-Rasūli Wa Tanājaw Bil-Birri Wa At-Taqwá Wa Attaqū Allāha Al-Ladhī 'Ilayhi Tuĥsharūna
إِنَّمَا النَّجْوَىٰ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ لِيَحْزُنَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَيْسَ بِضَارِّهِمْ شَيْئًا إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ 10 
Translation
Only the secret counsels (are) from the Shaitaan that he may grieve those who believe but not he (can) harm them (in) anything except by Allah's permission by Allah's permission And upon Allah let put (their) trust the believers
Transliteration
'Innamā An-Najwá Mina Ash-Shayţāni Liyaĥzuna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Laysa Biđārrihim Shay'āan 'Illā Bi'idhni Allāhi Wa `Alá Allāhi Falyatawakkali Al-Mu'uminūna
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا قِيلَ لَكُمْ تَفَسَّحُوا فِي الْمَجَالِسِ فَافْسَحُوا يَفْسَحِ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِذَا قِيلَ انْشُزُوا فَانْشُزُوا يَرْفَعِ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ دَرَجَاتٍ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ 11 
Translation
O you who believe O you who believe O you who believe When it is said to you Make room in the assemblies then make room Allah will make room Allah will make room for you And when it is said Rise up then rise up Allah will raise Allah will raise those who believe among you and those who were given the knowledge (in) degrees And Allah of what you do (is) All-Aware
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Idhā Qīla Lakum Tafassaĥū Fī Al-Majālisi Fāfsaĥū Yafsaĥi Allāhu Lakum Wa 'Idhā Qīla Anshuzū Fānshuzū Yarfa`i Allāhu Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Minkum Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Ūtū Al-`Ilma Darajātin Wa Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Khabīrun
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا نَاجَيْتُمُ الرَّسُولَ فَقَدِّمُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ نَجْوَاكُمْ صَدَقَةً ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ وَأَطْهَرُ ۚ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ 12 
Translation
O you who believe O you who believe O you who believe When you privately consult the Messenger then offer before before your private consultation charity That (is) better for you and purer But if not you find then indeed Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Idhā Nājaytumu Ar-Rasūla Faqaddimū Bayna Yaday Najwākum Şadaqatan Dhālika Khayrun Lakum Wa 'Aţharu Fa'in Lam Tajidū Fa'inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
أَأَشْفَقْتُمْ أَنْ تُقَدِّمُوا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ نَجْوَاكُمْ صَدَقَاتٍ ۚ فَإِذْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا وَتَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَأَقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَآتُوا الزَّكَاةَ وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ خَبِيرٌ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ 13 
Translation
Are you afraid to offer before before your private consultation charities Then when you do not you do not and Allah has forgiven and Allah has forgiven you then establish the prayer and give the zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger And Allah (is) All-Aware of what you do
Transliteration
''A'ashfaqtum 'An Tuqaddimū Bayna Yaday Najwākum Şadaqātin Fa'idh Lam Taf`alū Wa Tāba Allāhu `Alaykum Fa'aqīmū Aş-Şalāata Wa 'Ātū Az-Zakāata Wa 'Aţī`ū Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Allāhu Khabīrun Bimā Ta`malūna
۞ أَلَمْ تَرَ إِلَى الَّذِينَ تَوَلَّوْا قَوْمًا غَضِبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا هُمْ مِنْكُمْ وَلَا مِنْهُمْ وَيَحْلِفُونَ عَلَى الْكَذِبِ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ 14 
Translation
Do not you see [to] those who take as allies a people wrath (of) Allah (is) upon them They (are) not They (are) not of you and not of them and they swear to the lie while they know
Transliteration
'Alam Tará 'Ilá Al-Ladhīna Tawallaw Qawmāan Ghađiba Allāhu `Alayhim Mā Hum Minkum Wa Lā Minhum Wa Yaĥlifūna `Alá Al-Kadhibi Wa Hum Ya`lamūna
أَعَدَّ اللَّهُ لَهُمْ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا ۖ إِنَّهُمْ سَاءَ مَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ 15 
Translation
Allah has prepared Allah has prepared for them a punishment severe Indeed, [they] evil is what they used to do
Transliteration
'A`adda Allāhu Lahum `Adhābāan Shadīdāan 'Innahum Sā'a Mā Kānū Ya`malūna
اتَّخَذُوا أَيْمَانَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ مُهِينٌ 16 
Translation
They have taken their oaths (as) a cover so they hinder from (the) way of Allah (the) way of Allah so for them (is) a punishment humiliating
Transliteration
Attakhadhū 'Aymānahum Junnatan Faşaddū `An Sabīli Allāhi Falahum `Adhābun Muhīnun
لَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَالُهُمْ وَلَا أَوْلَادُهُمْ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ 17 
Translation
Never will avail them their wealth and not their children against Allah (in) anything Those (will be) companions (of) the Fire they in it will abide forever
Transliteration
Lan Tughniya `Anhum 'Amwāluhum Wa Lā 'Awlāduhum Mina Allāhi Shay'āan 'Ūlā'ika 'Aşĥābu An-Nāri Hum Fīhā Khālidūna
يَوْمَ يَبْعَثُهُمُ اللَّهُ جَمِيعًا فَيَحْلِفُونَ لَهُ كَمَا يَحْلِفُونَ لَكُمْ ۖ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُمْ عَلَىٰ شَيْءٍ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ الْكَاذِبُونَ 18 
Translation
(On the) Day Allah will raise them Allah will raise them all then they will swear to Him as they swear to you And they think that they (are) on something No doubt Indeed, they [they] (are) the liars
Transliteration
Yawma Yab`athuhumu Allāhu Jamī`āan Fayaĥlifūna Lahu Kamā Yaĥlifūna Lakum Wa Yaĥsabūna 'Annahum `Alá Shay'in 'Alā 'Innahum Humu Al-Kādhibūna
اسْتَحْوَذَ عَلَيْهِمُ الشَّيْطَانُ فَأَنْسَاهُمْ ذِكْرَ اللَّهِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ حِزْبُ الشَّيْطَانِ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّ حِزْبَ الشَّيْطَانِ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ 19 
Translation
Has overcome them the Shaitaan so he made them forget (the) remembrance (of) Allah Those (are the) party (of) the Shaitaan No doubt! Indeed (the) party (of) the Shaitaan they (will be) the losers
Transliteration
AAstaĥwadha `Alayhimu Ash-Shayţānu Fa'ansāhum Dhikra Allāhi 'Ūlā'ika Ĥizbu Ash-Shayţāni 'Alā 'Inna Ĥizba Ash-Shayţāni Humu Al-Khāsirūna
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يُحَادُّونَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ أُولَٰئِكَ فِي الْأَذَلِّينَ 20 
Translation
Indeed those who oppose Allah and His Messenger those (will be) among the most humiliated
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yuĥāddūna Allāha Wa Rasūlahu 'Ūlā'ika Fī Al-'Adhallīna
كَتَبَ اللَّهُ لَأَغْلِبَنَّ أَنَا وَرُسُلِي ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ 21 
Translation
Allah has decreed Allah has decreed Surely, I will overcome I and My Messengers Indeed Allah (is) All-Strong All-Mighty
Transliteration
KKataba Allāhu La'aghlibanna 'Anā Wa Rusulī 'Inna Allāha Qawīyun `Azīzun
لَا تَجِدُ قَوْمًا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ يُوَادُّونَ مَنْ حَادَّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَوْ كَانُوا آبَاءَهُمْ أَوْ أَبْنَاءَهُمْ أَوْ إِخْوَانَهُمْ أَوْ عَشِيرَتَهُمْ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ كَتَبَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ الْإِيمَانَ وَأَيَّدَهُمْ بِرُوحٍ مِنْهُ ۖ وَيُدْخِلُهُمْ جَنَّاتٍ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا عَنْهُ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ حِزْبُ اللَّهِ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّ حِزْبَ اللَّهِ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ 22 
Translation
You will not find You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Day the Last loving (those) who oppose Allah and His Messenger even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred Those He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with a spirit from Him And He will admit them (to) Gardens flow from underneath it the rivers will abide forever in it Allah is pleased Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him Those (are the) party (of) Allah No doubt Indeed (the) party (of) Allah they (are) the successful ones
Transliteration
Lā Tajidu Qawmāan Yu'uminūna Billāhi Wa Al-Yawmi Al-'Ākhiri Yuwāddūna Man Ĥādda Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Law Kānū 'Ābā'ahum 'Aw 'Abnā'ahum 'Aw 'Ikhwānahum 'Aw `Ashīratahum 'Ūlā'ika Kataba Fī Qulūbihimu Al-'Īmāna Wa 'Ayyadahum Birūĥin Minhu Wa Yudkhiluhum Jannātin Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Khālidīna Fīhā Rađiya Allāhu `Anhum Wa Rađū `Anhu 'Ūlā'ika Ĥizbu Allāhi 'Alā 'Inna Ĥizba Allāhi Humu Al-Mufliĥūna
