Al-Mulk The Sovereignty

﷽
تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 1 
Translation
Blessed is He in Whose Hand (is) the Dominion and He (is) over every thing All-Powerful
Transliteration
Tabāraka Al-Ladhī Biyadihi Al-Mulku Wa Huwa `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun
الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيَاةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفُورُ 2 
Translation
The One Who created death and life that He may test you which of you (is) best (in) deed And He (is) the All-Mighty the Oft-Forgiving
Transliteration
Al-Ladhī Khalaqa Al-Mawta Wa Al-Ĥayāata Liyabluwakum 'Ayyukum 'Aĥsanu `Amalāan Wa Huwa Al-`Azīzu Al-Ghafūru
الَّذِي خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا ۖ مَا تَرَىٰ فِي خَلْقِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ مِنْ تَفَاوُتٍ ۖ فَارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِنْ فُطُورٍ 3 
Translation
The One Who created seven heavens one above another Not you see in (the) creation (of) the Most Gracious any fault So return the vision can you see any flaw
Transliteration
Al-Ladhī Khalaqa Sab`a Samāwātin Ţibāqāan Mā Tará Fī Khalqi Ar-Raĥmāni Min Tafāwutin Fārji`i Al-Başara Hal Tará Min Fuţūrin
ثُمَّ ارْجِعِ الْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنْقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ الْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌ 4 
Translation
Then return the vision twice again Will return to you the vision humbled while it (is) fatigued
Transliteration
TThumma Arji`i Al-Başara Karratayni Yanqalib 'Ilayka Al-Başaru Khāsi'āan Wa Huwa Ĥasīrun
وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا بِمَصَابِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَاهَا رُجُومًا لِلشَّيَاطِينِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ السَّعِيرِ 5 
Translation
And certainly We have beautified the heaven nearest with lamps and We have made them (as) missiles for the devils and We have prepared for them punishment (of) the Blaze
Transliteration
Wa Laqad Zayyannā As-Samā'a Ad-Dunyā Bimaşābīĥa Wa Ja`alnāhā Rujūmāan Lilshshayāţīni Wa 'A`tadnā Lahum `Adhāba As-Sa`īri
وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ 6 
Translation
And for those who disbelieved in their Lord (is the) punishment (of) Hell and wretched is the destination
Transliteration
Wa Lilladhīna Kafarū Birabbihim `Adhābu Jahannama Wa Bi'sa Al-Maşīru
إِذَا أُلْقُوا فِيهَا سَمِعُوا لَهَا شَهِيقًا وَهِيَ تَفُورُ 7 
Translation
When they are thrown therein they will hear from it an inhaling while it boils up
Transliteration
'Idhā 'Ulqū Fīhā Sami`ū Lahā Shahīqāan Wa Hiya Tafūru
تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ الْغَيْظِ ۖ كُلَّمَا أُلْقِيَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَا أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ 8 
Translation
It almost bursts with rage Every time is thrown therein a group will ask them its keepers Did not come to you a warner
Transliteration
Takādu Tamayyazu Mina Al-Ghayži Kullamā 'Ulqiya Fīhā Fawjun Sa'alahum Khazanatuhā 'Alam Ya'tikum Nadhīrun
قَالُوا بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَاءَنَا نَذِيرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنْتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ كَبِيرٍ 9 
Translation
They will say Yes indeed came to us a warner but we denied and we said Not has sent down Allah any thing Not you (are) but in error great
Transliteration
Qālū Balá Qad Jā'anā Nadhīrun Fakadhdhabnā Wa Qulnā Mā Nazzala Allāhu Min Shay'in 'In 'Antum 'Illā Fī Đalālin Kabīrin
وَقَالُوا لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِي أَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ 10 
Translation
And they will say If we had listened or reasoned not we (would) have been among (the) companions (of) the Blaze
Transliteration
Wa Qālū Law Kunnā Nasma`u 'Aw Na`qilu Mā Kunnā Fī 'Aşĥābi As-Sa`īri
فَاعْتَرَفُوا بِذَنْبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًا لِأَصْحَابِ السَّعِيرِ 11 
Translation
Then they (will) confess their sins so away with (the) companions (of) the Blaze
Transliteration
Fā`tarafū Bidhanbihim Fasuĥqāan Li'şĥābi As-Sa`īri
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَيْبِ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ 12 
Translation
Indeed those who fear their Lord unseen for them (is) forgiveness and a reward great
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Yakhshawna Rabbahum Bil-Ghaybi Lahum Maghfiratun Wa 'Ajrun Kabīrun
وَأَسِرُّوا قَوْلَكُمْ أَوِ اجْهَرُوا بِهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ 13 
Translation
And conceal your speech or proclaim it Indeed He (is the) All-Knower of what (is in) the breasts
Transliteration
Wa 'Asirrū Qawlakum 'Aw Ajharū Bihi 'Innahu `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri
أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ 14 
Translation
Does not know (the One) Who created And He (is) the Subtle the All-Aware
Transliteration
'Alā Ya`lamu Man Khalaqa Wa Huwa Al-Laţīfu Al-Khabīru
هُوَ الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًا فَامْشُوا فِي مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا مِنْ رِزْقِهِ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ 15 
Translation
He (is) the One Who made for you the earth subservient so walk in (the) paths thereof and eat of His provision and to Him (is) the Resurrection
Transliteration
Huwa Al-Ladhī Ja`ala Lakumu Al-'Arđa Dhalūlāan Fāmshū Fī Manākibihā Wa Kulū Min Rizqihi Wa 'Ilayhi An-Nushūru
أَأَمِنْتُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ الْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَمُورُ 16 
Translation
Do you feel secure (from Him) Who (is) in the heaven not He will cause to swallow you the earth when it sways
Transliteration
''A'amintum Man Fī As-Samā'i 'An Yakhsifa Bikumu Al-'Arđa Fa'idhā Hiya Tamūru
أَمْ أَمِنْتُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ أَنْ يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِيرِ 17 
Translation
Or do you feel secure (from Him) Who (is) in the heaven not He will send against you a storm of stones Then you would know how (was) My warning
Transliteration
'Am 'Amintum Man Fī As-Samā'i 'An Yursila `Alaykum Ĥāşibāan Fasata`lamūna Kayfa Nadhīri
وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ 18 
Translation
And indeed denied those from before them and how was My rejection
Transliteration
Wa Laqad Kadhdhaba Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Fakayfa Kāna Nakīri
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا إِلَى الطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صَافَّاتٍ وَيَقْبِضْنَ ۚ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا الرَّحْمَٰنُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ بَصِيرٌ 19 
Translation
Do not they see [to] the birds above them spreading (their wings) and folding Not holds them except the Most Gracious Indeed He (is) of every thing All-Seer
Transliteration
'Awalam Yaraw 'Ilá Aţ-Ţayri Fawqahum Şāffātin Wa Yaqbiđna Mā Yumsikuhunna 'Illā Ar-Raĥmānu 'Innahu Bikulli Shay'in Başīrun
أَمَّنْ هَٰذَا الَّذِي هُوَ جُنْدٌ لَكُمْ يَنْصُرُكُمْ مِنْ دُونِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ ۚ إِنِ الْكَافِرُونَ إِلَّا فِي غُرُورٍ 20 
Translation
Who is this the one he (is) an army for you to help you from besides the Most Gracious Not (are) the disbelievers but in delusion
Transliteration
'Amman Hādhā Al-Ladhī Huwa Jundun Lakum Yanşurukum Min Dūni Ar-Raĥmāni 'Ini Al-Kāfirūna 'Illā Fī Ghurūrin
أَمَّنْ هَٰذَا الَّذِي يَرْزُقُكُمْ إِنْ أَمْسَكَ رِزْقَهُ ۚ بَلْ لَجُّوا فِي عُتُوٍّ وَنُفُورٍ 21 
Translation
Who is this the one to provide you if He withheld His provision Nay they persist in pride and aversion
Transliteration
'Amman Hādhā Al-Ladhī Yarzuqukum 'In 'Amsaka Rizqahu Bal Lajjū Fī `Utūwin Wa Nufūrin
أَفَمَنْ يَمْشِي مُكِبًّا عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِ أَهْدَىٰ أَمَّنْ يَمْشِي سَوِيًّا عَلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ 22 
Translation
Then is he who walks fallen on his face better guided or (he) who walks upright on (the) Path Straight
Transliteration
''Afaman Yamshī Mukibbāan `Alá Wajhihi 'Ahdá 'Amman Yamshī Sawīyāan `Alá Şirāţin Mustaqīmin
قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ ۖ قَلِيلًا مَا تَشْكُرُونَ 23 
Translation
Say He (is) the One Who produced you and made for you the hearing and the vision and the feelings Little (is) what you give thanks
Transliteration
Qul Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Ansha'akum Wa Ja`ala Lakumu As-Sam`a Wa Al-'Abşāra Wa Al-'Af'idata Qalīlāan Mā Tashkurūna
قُلْ هُوَ الَّذِي ذَرَأَكُمْ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ 24 
Translation
Say He (is) the One Who multiplied you in the earth and to Him you will be gathered
Transliteration
Qul Huwa Al-Ladhī Dhara'akum Fī Al-'Arđi Wa 'Ilayhi Tuĥsharūna
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَٰذَا الْوَعْدُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ 25 
Translation
And they say When (is) this promise if you are truthful
Transliteration
Wa Yaqūlūna Matá Hādhā Al-Wa`du 'In Kuntum Şādiqīna
قُلْ إِنَّمَا الْعِلْمُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَا أَنَا نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ 26 
Translation
Say Only the knowledge (is) with Allah and only I am a warner clear
Transliteration
Qul 'Innamā Al-`Ilmu `Inda Allāhi Wa 'Innamā 'Anā Nadhīrun Mubīnun
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِيئَتْ وُجُوهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا وَقِيلَ هَٰذَا الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تَدَّعُونَ 27 
Translation
But when they (will) see it approaching (will be) distressed (the) faces (of) those who disbelieved and it will be said This (is) that which you used (to) for it call
Transliteration
FFalammā Ra'awhu Zulfatan Sī'at Wujūhu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Wa Qīla Hādhā Al-Ladhī Kuntum Bihi Tadda`ūna
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَهْلَكَنِيَ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ مَعِيَ أَوْ رَحِمَنَا فَمَنْ يُجِيرُ الْكَافِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ 28 
Translation
Say Have you seen if destroys me Allah and whoever (is) with me or has mercy upon us then who (can) protect the disbelievers from a punishment painful
Transliteration
Qul 'Ara'aytum 'In 'Ahlakaniya Allāhu Wa Man Ma`ī 'Aw Raĥimanā Faman Yujīru Al-Kāfirīna Min `Adhābin 'Alīmin
قُلْ هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ آمَنَّا بِهِ وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ 29 
Translation
Say He (is) the Most Gracious; we believe in Him and upon Him we put (our) trust So soon you will know who (is) it (that is) in error clear
Transliteration
Qul Huwa Ar-Raĥmānu 'Āmannā Bihi Wa `Alayhi Tawakkalnā Fasata`lamūna Man Huwa Fī Đalālin Mubīnin
قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَاؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَنْ يَأْتِيكُمْ بِمَاءٍ مَعِينٍ 30 
Translation
Say Have you seen if becomes your water sunken then who could bring you water flowing
Transliteration
Qul 'Ara'aytum 'In 'Aşbaĥa Mā'uukum Ghawrāan Faman Ya'tīkum Bimā'in Ma`īnin
