Nūĥ Noah
﷽
إِنَّا أَرْسَلْنَا نُوحًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِ أَنْ أَنْذِرْ قَوْمَكَ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَأْتِيَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ 1
Translation
Indeed, We [We] sent Nuh to his people that Warn your people from before [that] comes to them a punishment painful
Transliteration
'Innā 'Arsalnā Nūĥāan 'Ilá Qawmihi 'An 'Andhir Qawmaka Min Qabli 'An Ya'tiyahum `Adhābun 'Alīmun
قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ إِنِّي لَكُمْ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ 2
Translation
He said O my people! Indeed I am to you a warner clear
Transliteration
Qāla Yā Qawmi 'Innī Lakum Nadhīrun Mubīnun
أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاتَّقُوهُ وَأَطِيعُونِ 3
Translation
That Worship Allah and fear Him and obey me
Transliteration
'Ani A`budū Allāha Wa Attaqūhu Wa 'Aţī`ūni
يَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ مِنْ ذُنُوبِكُمْ وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُسَمًّى ۚ إِنَّ أَجَلَ اللَّهِ إِذَا جَاءَ لَا يُؤَخَّرُ ۖ لَوْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ 4
Translation
He will forgive for you [of] your sins and give you respite for a term specified Indeed (the) term (of) Allah when it comes not is delayed if you know
Transliteration
Yaghfir Lakum Min Dhunūbikum Wa Yu'uakhkhirkum 'Ilá 'Ajalin Musammáan 'Inna 'Ajala Allāhi 'Idhā Jā'a Lā Yu'uakhkharu Law Kuntum Ta`lamūna
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُ قَوْمِي لَيْلًا وَنَهَارًا 5
Translation
He said My Lord! Indeed I invited my people night and day
Transliteration
Qāla Rabbi 'Innī Da`awtu Qawmī Laylāan Wa Nahārāan
فَلَمْ يَزِدْهُمْ دُعَائِي إِلَّا فِرَارًا 6
Translation
But not increased them my invitation except (in) flight
Transliteration
Falam Yazid/hum Du`ā'ī 'Illā Firārāan
وَإِنِّي كُلَّمَا دَعَوْتُهُمْ لِتَغْفِرَ لَهُمْ جَعَلُوا أَصَابِعَهُمْ فِي آذَانِهِمْ وَاسْتَغْشَوْا ثِيَابَهُمْ وَأَصَرُّوا وَاسْتَكْبَرُوا اسْتِكْبَارًا 7
Translation
And indeed I every time I invited them that You may forgive them they put their fingers in their ears and covered themselves (with) their garments and persisted and were arrogant (with) pride
Transliteration
Wa 'Innī Kullamā Da`awtuhum Litaghfira Lahum Ja`alū 'Aşābi`ahum Fī 'Ādhānihim Wa Astaghshaw Thiyābahum Wa 'Aşarrū Wa Astakbarū Astikbārāan
ثُمَّ إِنِّي دَعَوْتُهُمْ جِهَارًا 8
Translation
Then indeed I invited them publicly
Transliteration
TThumma 'Innī Da`awtuhum Jihārāan
ثُمَّ إِنِّي أَعْلَنْتُ لَهُمْ وَأَسْرَرْتُ لَهُمْ إِسْرَارًا 9
Translation
Then indeed I announced to them and I confided to them secretly
Transliteration
TThumma 'Innī 'A`lantu Lahum Wa 'Asrartu Lahum 'Isrārāan
فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا 10
Translation
Then I said Ask forgiveness (from) your Lord Indeed He is Oft-Forgiving
Transliteration
FFaqultu Astaghfirū Rabbakum 'Innahu Kāna Ghaffārāan
يُرْسِلِ السَّمَاءَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِدْرَارًا 11
Translation
He will send down (rain from) the sky upon you (in) abundance
Transliteration
Yursili As-Samā'a `Alaykum Midrārāan
وَيُمْدِدْكُمْ بِأَمْوَالٍ وَبَنِينَ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ جَنَّاتٍ وَيَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ أَنْهَارًا 12
Translation
And provide you with wealth and children and make for you gardens and make for you rivers
Transliteration
Wa Yumdidkum Bi'amwālin Wa Banīna Wa Yaj`al Lakum Jannātin Wa Yaj`al Lakum 'Anhārāan
مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَرْجُونَ لِلَّهِ وَقَارًا 13
Translation
What (is) for you not you attribute to Allah grandeur
Transliteration
Mā Lakum Lā Tarjūna Lillāhi Waqārāan
وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا 14
Translation
And indeed He created you (in) stages
Transliteration
Wa Qad Khalaqakum 'Aţwārāan
أَلَمْ تَرَوْا كَيْفَ خَلَقَ اللَّهُ سَبْعَ سَمَاوَاتٍ طِبَاقًا 15
Translation
Do not you see how did create Allah (the) seven heavens (in) layers
Transliteration
'Alam Taraw Kayfa Khalaqa Allāhu Sab`a Samāwātin Ţibāqāan
وَجَعَلَ الْقَمَرَ فِيهِنَّ نُورًا وَجَعَلَ الشَّمْسَ سِرَاجًا 16
Translation
And made the moon therein a light and made the sun a lamp
Transliteration
Wa Ja`ala Al-Qamara Fīhinna Nūrāan Wa Ja`ala Ash-Shamsa Sirājāan
وَاللَّهُ أَنْبَتَكُمْ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ نَبَاتًا 17
Translation
And Allah has caused you to grow from the earth (as) a growth
Transliteration
Wa Allāhu 'Anbatakum Mina Al-'Arđi Nabātāan
ثُمَّ يُعِيدُكُمْ فِيهَا وَيُخْرِجُكُمْ إِخْرَاجًا 18
Translation
Then He will return you into it and bring you forth (a new) bringing forth
Transliteration
TThumma Yu`īdukum Fīhā Wa Yukhrijukum 'Ikhrājāan
وَاللَّهُ جَعَلَ لَكُمُ الْأَرْضَ بِسَاطًا 19
Translation
And Allah made for you the earth an expanse
Transliteration
Wa Allāhu Ja`ala Lakumu Al-'Arđa Bisāţāan
لِتَسْلُكُوا مِنْهَا سُبُلًا فِجَاجًا 20
Translation
That you may go along therein (in) paths wide
Transliteration
Litaslukū Minhā Subulāan Fijājāan
قَالَ نُوحٌ رَبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِي وَاتَّبَعُوا مَنْ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُ وَوَلَدُهُ إِلَّا خَسَارًا 21
Translation
Said Nuh My Lord! Indeed they disobeyed me and followed (the one) who (did) not increase him his wealth and his children except (in) loss
Transliteration
Qāla Nūĥun Rabbi 'Innahum `Aşawnī Wa Attaba`ū Man Lam Yazid/hu Māluhu Wa Waladuhu 'Illā Khasārāan
وَمَكَرُوا مَكْرًا كُبَّارًا 22
Translation
And they have planned a plan great
Transliteration
Wa Makarū Makrāan Kubbārāan
وَقَالُوا لَا تَذَرُنَّ آلِهَتَكُمْ وَلَا تَذَرُنَّ وَدًّا وَلَا سُوَاعًا وَلَا يَغُوثَ وَيَعُوقَ وَنَسْرًا 23
Translation
And they said (Do) not leave your gods and (do) not leave Wadd and not Suwa and not Yaguth and Yauq and Nasr
Transliteration
Wa Qālū Lā Tadharunna 'Ālihatakum Wa Lā Tadharunna Waddāan Wa Lā Suwā`āan Wa Lā Yaghūtha Wa Ya`ūqa Wa Nasrāan
وَقَدْ أَضَلُّوا كَثِيرًا ۖ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا ضَلَالًا 24
Translation
And indeed they have led astray many And not increase the wrongdoers except (in) error
Transliteration
Wa Qad 'Ađallū Kathīrāan Wa Lā Tazidi Až-Žālimīna 'Illā Đalālāan
مِمَّا خَطِيئَاتِهِمْ أُغْرِقُوا فَأُدْخِلُوا نَارًا فَلَمْ يَجِدُوا لَهُمْ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَنْصَارًا 25
Translation
Because of their sins they were drowned then made to enter (the) Fire and not they found for themselves from besides Allah any helpers
Transliteration
Mimmā Khaţī'ātihim 'Ughriqū Fa'udkhilū Nārāan Falam Yajidū Lahum Min Dūni Allāhi 'Anşārāan
وَقَالَ نُوحٌ رَبِّ لَا تَذَرْ عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْكَافِرِينَ دَيَّارًا 26
Translation
And said Nuh My Lord! (Do) not leave on the earth any (of) the disbelievers (as) an inhabitant
Transliteration
Wa Qāla Nūĥun Rabbi Lā Tadhar `Alá Al-'Arđi Mina Al-Kāfirīna Dayyārāan
إِنَّكَ إِنْ تَذَرْهُمْ يُضِلُّوا عِبَادَكَ وَلَا يَلِدُوا إِلَّا فَاجِرًا كَفَّارًا 27
Translation
Indeed You if You leave them they will mislead Your slaves and not they will beget except a wicked a disbeliever
Transliteration
'Innaka 'In Tadharhum Yuđillū `Ibādaka Wa Lā Yalidū 'Illā Fājirāan Kaffārāan
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَلِمَنْ دَخَلَ بَيْتِيَ مُؤْمِنًا وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَلَا تَزِدِ الظَّالِمِينَ إِلَّا تَبَارًا 28
Translation
My Lord! Forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house - a believer and believing men and believing women And (do) not increase the wrongdoers except (in) destruction
Transliteration
Rabbi Aghfir Lī Wa Liwālidayya Wa Liman Dakhala Baytiya Mu'umināan Wa Lilmu'uminīna Wa Al-Mu'umināti Wa Lā Tazidi Až-Žālimīna 'Illā Tabārāan
