Al-Jinn The Jinn

﷽
قُلْ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّهُ اسْتَمَعَ نَفَرٌ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا سَمِعْنَا قُرْآنًا عَجَبًا 1 
Translation
Say It has been revealed to me that listened a group of the jinn and they said Indeed we heard a Quran amazing
Transliteration
Qul 'Ūĥiya 'Ilayya 'Annahu Astama`a Nafarun Mina Al-Jinni Faqālū 'Innā Sami`nā Qur'ānāan `Ajabāan
يَهْدِي إِلَى الرُّشْدِ فَآمَنَّا بِهِ ۖ وَلَنْ نُشْرِكَ بِرَبِّنَا أَحَدًا 2 
Translation
It guides to the right way so we believe in it and never we will associate with our Lord anyone
Transliteration
Yahdī 'Ilá Ar-Rushdi Fa'āmannā Bihi Wa Lan Nushrika Birabbinā 'Aĥadāan
وَأَنَّهُ تَعَالَىٰ جَدُّ رَبِّنَا مَا اتَّخَذَ صَاحِبَةً وَلَا وَلَدًا 3 
Translation
And that He - Exalted is (the) Majesty (of) our Lord - not He has taken a wife and not a son
Transliteration
Wa 'Annahu Ta`ālá Jaddu Rabbinā Mā Attakhadha Şāĥibatan Wa Lā Waladāan
وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ سَفِيهُنَا عَلَى اللَّهِ شَطَطًا 4 
Translation
And that he used (to) speak - the foolish among us against Allah an excessive transgression
Transliteration
Wa 'Annahu Kāna Yaqūlu Safīhunā `Alá Allāhi Shaţaţāan
وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَنْ لَنْ تَقُولَ الْإِنْسُ وَالْجِنُّ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا 5 
Translation
And that we thought that never will say the men and the jinn against Allah any lie
Transliteration
Wa 'Annā Žanannā 'An Lan Taqūla Al-'Insu Wa Al-Jinnu `Alá Allāhi Kadhibāan
وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِنَ الْإِنْسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا 6 
Translation
And that (there) were men among mankind who sought refuge in (the) men from the jinn so they increased them (in) burden
Transliteration
Wa 'Annahu Kāna Rijālun Mina Al-'Insi Ya`ūdhūna Birijālin Mina Al-Jinni Fazādūhum Rahaqāan
وَأَنَّهُمْ ظَنُّوا كَمَا ظَنَنْتُمْ أَنْ لَنْ يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ أَحَدًا 7 
Translation
And that they thought as you thought that never will raise Allah anyone
Transliteration
Wa 'Annahum Žannū Kamā Žanantum 'An Lan Yab`atha Allāhu 'Aĥadāan
وَأَنَّا لَمَسْنَا السَّمَاءَ فَوَجَدْنَاهَا مُلِئَتْ حَرَسًا شَدِيدًا وَشُهُبًا 8 
Translation
And that we sought to touch the heaven but we found it filled (with) guards severe and flaming fires
Transliteration
Wa 'Annā Lamasnā As-Samā'a Fawajadnāhā Muli'at Ĥarasāan Shadīdāan Wa Shuhubāan
وَأَنَّا كُنَّا نَقْعُدُ مِنْهَا مَقَاعِدَ لِلسَّمْعِ ۖ فَمَنْ يَسْتَمِعِ الْآنَ يَجِدْ لَهُ شِهَابًا رَصَدًا 9 
Translation
And that we used (to) sit there in positions for hearing but (he) who listens now will find for him a flaming fire waiting
Transliteration
Wa 'Annā Kunnā Naq`udu Minhā Maqā`ida Lilssam`i Faman Yastami`i Al-'Āna Yajid Lahu Shihābāan Raşadāan
وَأَنَّا لَا نَدْرِي أَشَرٌّ أُرِيدَ بِمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَمْ أَرَادَ بِهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ رَشَدًا 10 
Translation
And that we - not we know whether evil is intended for (those) who (are) in the earth or intends for them their Lord a right path
Transliteration
Wa 'Annā Lā Nadrī 'Asharrun 'Urīda Biman Fī Al-'Arđi 'Am 'Arāda Bihim Rabbuhum Rashadāan
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الصَّالِحُونَ وَمِنَّا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ كُنَّا طَرَائِقَ قِدَدًا 11 
Translation
And that among us (are) the righteous and among us (are) other than that We (are on) ways different
Transliteration
Wa 'Annā Minnā Aş-Şāliĥūna Wa Minnā Dūna Dhālika Kunnā Ţarā'iqa Qidadāan
وَأَنَّا ظَنَنَّا أَنْ لَنْ نُعْجِزَ اللَّهَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَنْ نُعْجِزَهُ هَرَبًا 12 
Translation
And that we [we] have become certain that never we will cause failure (to) Allah in the earth and never we can escape Him (by) flight
Transliteration
Wa 'Annā Žanannā 'An Lan Nu`jiza Allāha Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Lan Nu`jizahu Harabāan
وَأَنَّا لَمَّا سَمِعْنَا الْهُدَىٰ آمَنَّا بِهِ ۖ فَمَنْ يُؤْمِنْ بِرَبِّهِ فَلَا يَخَافُ بَخْسًا وَلَا رَهَقًا 13 
Translation
And that when we heard the Guidance we believed in it And whoever believes in his Lord then not he will fear any loss and not any burden
Transliteration
Wa 'Annā Lammā Sami`nā Al-Hudá 'Āmannā Bihi Faman Yu'umin Birabbihi Falā Yakhāfu Bakhsāan Wa Lā Rahaqāan
وَأَنَّا مِنَّا الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَمِنَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ ۖ فَمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَأُولَٰئِكَ تَحَرَّوْا رَشَدًا 14 
Translation
And that we among us (are) Muslims and among us (are) unjust And whoever submits then those have sought (the) right path
Transliteration
Wa 'Annā Minnā Al-Muslimūna Wa Minnā Al-Qāsiţūna Faman 'Aslama Fa'ūlā'ika Taĥarraw Rashadāan
وَأَمَّا الْقَاسِطُونَ فَكَانُوا لِجَهَنَّمَ حَطَبًا 15 
Translation
And as for the unjust they will be for Hell firewood
Transliteration
Wa 'Ammā Al-Qāsiţūna Fakānū Lijahannama Ĥaţabāan
وَأَنْ لَوِ اسْتَقَامُوا عَلَى الطَّرِيقَةِ لَأَسْقَيْنَاهُمْ مَاءً غَدَقًا 16 
Translation
And if they had remained on the Way surely We (would) have given them to drink water (in) abundance
Transliteration
Wa 'Allawi Astaqāmū `Alá Aţ-Ţarīqati L'asqaynāhum Mā'an Ghadaqāan
لِنَفْتِنَهُمْ فِيهِ ۚ وَمَنْ يُعْرِضْ عَنْ ذِكْرِ رَبِّهِ يَسْلُكْهُ عَذَابًا صَعَدًا 17 
Translation
That We might test them therein And whoever turns away from the Remembrance (of) his Lord He will make him enter a punishment severe
Transliteration
LLinaftinahum Fīhi Wa Man Yu`riđ `An Dhikri Rabbihi Yasluk/hu `Adhābāan Şa`adāan
وَأَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلَّهِ فَلَا تَدْعُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ أَحَدًا 18 
Translation
And that the masajid (are) for Allah so (do) not call with Allah anyone
Transliteration
Wa 'Anna Al-Masājida Lillāhi Falā Tad`ū Ma`a Allāhi 'Aĥadāan
وَأَنَّهُ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ يَدْعُوهُ كَادُوا يَكُونُونَ عَلَيْهِ لِبَدًا 19 
Translation
And that when stood up (the) slave (of) Allah calling (upon) Him they almost became around him a compacted mass
Transliteration
Wa 'Annahu Lammā Qāma `Abdu Allāhi Yad`ūhu Kādū Yakūnūna `Alayhi Libadāan
قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَدْعُو رَبِّي وَلَا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ أَحَدًا 20 
Translation
Say Only I call upon my Lord and not I associate with Him anyone
Transliteration
Qul 'Innamā 'Ad`ū Rabbī Wa Lā 'Ushriku Bihi 'Aĥadāan
قُلْ إِنِّي لَا أَمْلِكُ لَكُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا رَشَدًا 21 
Translation
Say Indeed I (do) not possess for you any harm and not right path
Transliteration
Qul 'Innī Lā 'Amliku Lakum Đarrāan Wa Lā Rashadāan
قُلْ إِنِّي لَنْ يُجِيرَنِي مِنَ اللَّهِ أَحَدٌ وَلَنْ أَجِدَ مِنْ دُونِهِ مُلْتَحَدًا 22 
Translation
Say Indeed I never can protect me from Allah anyone and never can I find from besides Him any refuge
Transliteration
Qul 'Innī Lan Yujīranī Mina Allāhi 'Aĥadun Wa Lan 'Ajida Min Dūnihi Multaĥadāan
إِلَّا بَلَاغًا مِنَ اللَّهِ وَرِسَالَاتِهِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَعْصِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ لَهُ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا أَبَدًا 23 
Translation
But (the) notification from Allah and His Messages And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger then indeed for him (is the) Fire (of) Hell (they will) abide therein forever
Transliteration
'Illā Balāghāan Mina Allāhi Wa Risālātihi Wa Man Ya`şi Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Fa'inna Lahu Nāra Jahannama Khālidīna Fīhā 'Abadāan
حَتَّىٰ إِذَا رَأَوْا مَا يُوعَدُونَ فَسَيَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ أَضْعَفُ نَاصِرًا وَأَقَلُّ عَدَدًا 24 
Translation
Until when they see what they are promised then they will know who (is) weaker (in) helpers and fewer (in) number
Transliteration
Ĥattá 'Idhā Ra'aw Mā Yū`adūna Fasaya`lamūna Man 'Ađ`afu Nāşirāan Wa 'Aqallu `Adadāan
قُلْ إِنْ أَدْرِي أَقَرِيبٌ مَا تُوعَدُونَ أَمْ يَجْعَلُ لَهُ رَبِّي أَمَدًا 25 
Translation
Say Not I know whether is near what you are promised or (whether) will appoint for it my Lord a (distant) term
Transliteration
Qul 'In 'Adrī 'Aqarībun Mā Tū`adūna 'Am Yaj`alu Lahu Rabbī 'Amadāan
عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ فَلَا يُظْهِرُ عَلَىٰ غَيْبِهِ أَحَدًا 26 
Translation
(The) All-Knower (of) the unseen so not He reveals from His unseen (to) anyone
Transliteration
`Ālimu Al-Ghaybi Falā Yužhiru `Alá Ghaybihi 'Aĥadāan
إِلَّا مَنِ ارْتَضَىٰ مِنْ رَسُولٍ فَإِنَّهُ يَسْلُكُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِ رَصَدًا 27 
Translation
Except whom He has approved of a Messenger and indeed, He makes to march from before him and from behind him a guard
Transliteration
'Illā Mani Artađá Min Rasūlin Fa'innahu Yasluku Min Bayni Yadayhi Wa Min Khalfihi Raşadāan
لِيَعْلَمَ أَنْ قَدْ أَبْلَغُوا رِسَالَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ وَأَحَاطَ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ وَأَحْصَىٰ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ عَدَدًا 28 
Translation
That He may make evident that indeed they have conveyed (the) Messages (of) their Lord; and He has encompassed what (is) with them and He takes account (of) all things (in) number
Transliteration
LLiya`lama 'An Qad 'Ablaghū Risālāti Rabbihim Wa 'Aĥāţa Bimā Ladayhim Wa 'Aĥşá Kulla Shay'in `Adadāan
