Al-'Anfāl The Spoils of War
﷽
يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْأَنْفَالِ ۖ قُلِ الْأَنْفَالُ لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ ۖ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَصْلِحُوا ذَاتَ بَيْنِكُمْ ۖ وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ 1
Translation
They ask you about the spoils of war Say The spoils of war (are) for Allah and the Messenger So fear Allah and set right that (which is) between you and obey Allah and His Messenger if you are believers
Transliteration
Yas'alūnaka `Ani Al-'Anfāl Quli Al-'Anfāli Lillāhi Wa Ar-Rasūli Fa Attaqū Allāha Wa 'Aşliĥū Dhāta Baynikum Wa 'Aţī`ū Allāha Wa Rasūlahu 'In Kuntum Mu'uminīna
إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ وَجِلَتْ قُلُوبُهُمْ وَإِذَا تُلِيَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُهُ زَادَتْهُمْ إِيمَانًا وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ 2
Translation
Only the believers (are) those who when is mentioned Allah feel fear their hearts and when are recited to them His Verses they increase them (in) faith and upon their Lord they put their trust
Transliteration
'Innamā Al-Mu'uminūna Al-Ladhīna 'Idhā Dhukira Allāhu Wajilat Qulūbuhum Wa 'Idhā Tuliyat `Alayhim 'Āyātuhu Zādat/hum 'Īmānāan Wa `Alá Rabbihim Yatawakkalūna
الَّذِينَ يُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَاةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ يُنْفِقُونَ 3
Translation
Those who establish the prayer and out of what We have provided them they spend
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna Yuqīmūna Aş-Şalāata Wa Mimmā Razaqnāhum Yunfiqūna
أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّا ۚ لَهُمْ دَرَجَاتٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ وَمَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ 4
Translation
Those - they are the believers (in) truth For them (are) ranks with their Lord and forgiveness and a provision noble
Transliteration
''Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mu'uminūna Ĥaqqāan Lahum Darajātun `Inda Rabbihim Wa Maghfiratun Wa Rizqun Karīmun
كَمَا أَخْرَجَكَ رَبُّكَ مِنْ بَيْتِكَ بِالْحَقِّ وَإِنَّ فَرِيقًا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ لَكَارِهُونَ 5
Translation
As brought you out your Lord from your home in truth while indeed a party among the believers certainly disliked
Transliteration
Kamā 'Akhrajaka Rabbuka Min Baytika Bil-Ĥaqqi Wa 'Inna Farīqāan Mina Al-Mu'uminīna Lakārihūna
يُجَادِلُونَكَ فِي الْحَقِّ بَعْدَمَا بَعْدَمَا تَبَيَّنَ كَأَنَّمَا يُسَاقُونَ إِلَى الْمَوْتِ وَهُمْ يَنْظُرُونَ 6
Translation
They dispute with you concerning the truth after what after what was made clear as if they were driven to [the] death while they (were) looking
Transliteration
Yujādilūnaka Fī Al-Ĥaqqi Ba`damā Tabayyana Ka'annamā Yusāqūna 'Ilá Al-Mawti Wa Hum Yanžurūna
وَإِذْ يَعِدُكُمُ اللَّهُ إِحْدَى الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ أَنَّهَا لَكُمْ وَتَوَدُّونَ أَنَّ غَيْرَ ذَاتِ الشَّوْكَةِ تَكُونُ لَكُمْ وَيُرِيدُ اللَّهُ أَنْ يُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ بِكَلِمَاتِهِ وَيَقْطَعَ دَابِرَ الْكَافِرِينَ 7
Translation
And when promised you Allah one (of) the two groups that it (would be) for you and you wished that (one) other than that (of) the armed would be for you But intended Allah to justify the truth by His words and cut off (the) roots (of) the disbelievers
Transliteration
Wa 'Idh Ya`idukumu Allāhu 'Iĥdá Aţ-Ţā'ifatayni 'Annahā Lakum Wa Tawaddūna 'Anna Ghayra Dhāti Ash-Shawkati Takūnu Lakum Wa Yurīdu Allāhu 'An Yuĥiqqa Al-Ĥaqqa Bikalimātihi Wa Yaqţa`a Dābira Al-Kāfirīna
لِيُحِقَّ الْحَقَّ وَيُبْطِلَ الْبَاطِلَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْمُجْرِمُونَ 8
Translation
That He might justify the truth and prove false the falsehood even if disliked (it) the criminals
Transliteration
Liyuĥiqqa Al-Ĥaqqa Wa Yubţila Al-Bāţila Wa Law Kariha Al-Mujrimūna
إِذْ تَسْتَغِيثُونَ رَبَّكُمْ فَاسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ أَنِّي مُمِدُّكُمْ بِأَلْفٍ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ مُرْدِفِينَ 9
Translation
When you were seeking help (of) your Lord and He answered [to] you Indeed I am going to reinforce you with a thousand of the Angels one after another
Transliteration
'Idh Tastaghīthūna Rabbakum Fāstajāba Lakum 'Annī Mumiddukum Bi'alfin Mina Al-Malā'ikati Murdifīna
وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا بُشْرَىٰ وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۚ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلَّا مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ 10
Translation
And not (it was) made (by) Allah but good tidings and so that might be at rest with it your hearts And (there is) no [the] victory except from [of] Allah Indeed Allah (is) All-Mighty All-Wise
Transliteration
Wa Mā Ja`alahu Allāhu 'Illā Bushrá Wa Litaţma'inna Bihi Qulūbukum Wa Mā An-Naşru 'Illā Min `Indi Allāhi 'Inna Allāha `Azīzun Ĥakīmun
إِذْ يُغَشِّيكُمُ النُّعَاسَ أَمَنَةً مِنْهُ وَيُنَزِّلُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً لِيُطَهِّرَكُمْ بِهِ وَيُذْهِبَ عَنْكُمْ رِجْزَ الشَّيْطَانِ وَلِيَرْبِطَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِكُمْ وَيُثَبِّتَ بِهِ الْأَقْدَامَ 11
Translation
When He covered you with [the] slumber a security from Him and sent down upon you from the sky water so that He may purify you with it and take away from you evil (suggestions) (of) the Shaitaan And to strengthen [on] your hearts and make firm with it your feet
Transliteration
'Idh Yughashshīkumu An-Nu`āsa 'Amanatan Minhu Wa Yunazzilu `Alaykum Mina As-Samā'i Mā'an Liyuţahhirakum Bihi Wa Yudh/hiba `Ankum Rijza Ash-Shayţāni Wa Liyarbiţa `Alá Qulūbikum Wa Yuthabbita Bihi Al-'Aqdāma
إِذْ يُوحِي رَبُّكَ إِلَى الْمَلَائِكَةِ أَنِّي مَعَكُمْ فَثَبِّتُوا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا ۚ سَأُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا الرُّعْبَ فَاضْرِبُوا فَوْقَ الْأَعْنَاقِ وَاضْرِبُوا مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍ 12
Translation
When inspired your Lord to the Angels I am with you so strengthen those who believed I will cast in (the) hearts (of) those who disbelieved - the terror so strike above the necks and strike from them every fingertip[s]
Transliteration
'Idh Yūĥī Rabbuka 'Ilá Al-Malā'ikati 'Annī Ma`akum Fathabbitū Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Sa'ulqī Fī Qulūbi Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Ar-Ru`ba Fāđribū Fawqa Al-'A`nāqi Wa Ađribū Minhum Kulla Banānin
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَاقُّوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ۚ وَمَنْ يُشَاقِقِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ 13
Translation
That (is) because they opposed Allah and His Messenger And whoever opposes Allah and His Messenger then indeed Allah (is) severe in [the] penalty
Transliteration
Dhālika Bi'annahum Shāqqū Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Man Yushāqiqi Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Fa'inna Allāha Shadīdu Al-`Iqābi
ذَٰلِكُمْ فَذُوقُوهُ وَأَنَّ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَذَابَ النَّارِ 14
Translation
That - So taste it And that for the disbelievers (is the) punishment (of) the Fire
Transliteration
Dhālikum Fadhūqūhu Wa 'Anna Lilkāfirīna `Adhāba An-Nāri
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا لَقِيتُمُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا زَحْفًا فَلَا تُوَلُّوهُمُ الْأَدْبَارَ 15
Translation
O you who believe When you meet those who disbelieve advancing then (do) not turn to them the backs
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Idhā Laqītumu Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Zaĥfāan Falā Tuwallūhumu Al-'Adbāra
وَمَنْ يُوَلِّهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ دُبُرَهُ إِلَّا مُتَحَرِّفًا لِقِتَالٍ أَوْ مُتَحَيِّزًا إِلَىٰ فِئَةٍ فَقَدْ بَاءَ بِغَضَبٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ وَمَأْوَاهُ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ 16
Translation
And whoever turns to them that day his back except (as) a strategy of war or (to) join to a group certainly (he has) incurred wrath of Allah and his abode (is) Hell a wretched destination
Transliteration
Wa Man Yuwallihim Yawma'idhin Duburahu 'Illā Mutaĥarrifāan Liqitālin 'Aw Mutaĥayyizāan 'Ilá Fi'atin Faqad Bā'a Bighađabin Mina Allāhi Wa Ma'wāhu Jahannamu Wa Bi'sa Al-Maşīru
فَلَمْ تَقْتُلُوهُمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ قَتَلَهُمْ ۚ وَمَا رَمَيْتَ إِذْ رَمَيْتَ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ رَمَىٰ ۚ وَلِيُبْلِيَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْهُ بَلَاءً حَسَنًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ 17
Translation
And not you kill them but Allah killed them And not you threw when you threw but Allah threw and that He may test the believers from Him (with) a trial good Indeed Allah (is) All-Hearing All-Knowing
Transliteration
Falam Taqtulūhum Wa Lakinna Allāha Qatalahum Wa Mā Ramayta 'Idh Ramayta Wa Lakinna Allāha Ramá Wa Liyubliya Al-Mu'uminīna Minhu Balā'an Ĥasanāan 'Inna Allāha Samī`un `Alīmun
ذَٰلِكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مُوهِنُ كَيْدِ الْكَافِرِينَ 18
Translation
That (is the case) and that Allah (is) one who makes weak (the) plan (of) the disbelievers
Transliteration
Dhālikum Wa 'Anna Allāha Mūhinu Kaydi Al-Kāfirīna
إِنْ تَسْتَفْتِحُوا فَقَدْ جَاءَكُمُ الْفَتْحُ ۖ وَإِنْ تَنْتَهُوا فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ تَعُودُوا نَعُدْ وَلَنْ تُغْنِيَ عَنْكُمْ فِئَتُكُمْ شَيْئًا وَلَوْ كَثُرَتْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ 19
Translation
If you ask for victory then certainly has come to you the victory And if you desist then it (is) good for you but if you return We will return (too) And never will avail you your forces anything even if (they are) numerous And that Allah (is) with the believers
Transliteration
'In Tastaftiĥū Faqad Jā'akumu Al-Fatĥu Wa 'In Tantahū Fahuwa Khayrun Lakum Wa 'In Ta`ūdū Na`ud Wa Lan Tughniya `Ankum Fi'atukum Shay'āan Wa Law Kathurat Wa 'Anna Allāha Ma`a Al-Mu'uminīna
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَسْمَعُونَ 20
Translation
O you who believe Obey Allah and His Messenger And (do) not turn away from him while you hear
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Aţī`ū Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Lā Tawallaw `Anhu Wa 'Antum Tasma`ūna
وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ قَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَهُمْ لَا يَسْمَعُونَ 21
Translation
And (do) not be like those who say We heard while they do not hear
Transliteration
Wa Lā Takūnū Kālladhīna Qālū Sami`nā Wa Hum Lā Yasma`ūna
۞ إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَابِّ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الصُّمُّ الْبُكْمُ الَّذِينَ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ 22
Translation
Indeed worst (of) the living creatures near Allah (are) the deaf the dumb - those who (do) not use their intellect
Transliteration
'Inna Sharra Ad-Dawābbi `Inda Allāhi Aş-Şummu Al-Bukmu Al-Ladhīna Lā Ya`qilūna
وَلَوْ عَلِمَ اللَّهُ فِيهِمْ خَيْرًا لَأَسْمَعَهُمْ ۖ وَلَوْ أَسْمَعَهُمْ لَتَوَلَّوْا وَهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ 23
Translation
And if (had) known Allah in them any good surely, He (would) have made them hear And if He had made them hear surely they would have turned away while they (were) averse
Transliteration
Wa Law `Alima Allāhu Fīhim Khayrāan La'asma`ahum Wa Law 'Asma`ahum Latawallaw Wa Hum Mu`riđūna
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اسْتَجِيبُوا لِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِمَا يُحْيِيكُمْ ۖ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يَحُولُ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَقَلْبِهِ وَأَنَّهُ إِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ 24
Translation
O you who believe Respond to Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to what gives you life And know that Allah comes (in) between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Astajībū Lillāhi Wa Lilrrasūli 'Idhā Da`ākum Limā Yuĥyīkum Wa A`lamū 'Anna Allāha Yaĥūlu Bayna Al-Mar'i Wa Qalbihi Wa 'Annahu 'Ilayhi Tuĥsharūna
وَاتَّقُوا فِتْنَةً لَا تُصِيبَنَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْكُمْ خَاصَّةً ۖ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ 25
Translation
And fear a trial not which will afflict those who do wrong among you exclusively And know that Allah (is) severe (in) the penalty
Transliteration
Wa Attaqū Fitnatan Lā Tuşībanna Al-Ladhīna Žalamū Minkum Khāşşatan Wa A`lamū 'Anna Allāha Shadīdu Al-`Iqābi
وَاذْكُرُوا إِذْ أَنْتُمْ قَلِيلٌ مُسْتَضْعَفُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ تَخَافُونَ أَنْ يَتَخَطَّفَكُمُ النَّاسُ فَآوَاكُمْ وَأَيَّدَكُمْ بِنَصْرِهِ وَرَزَقَكُمْ مِنَ الطَّيِّبَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ 26
Translation
And remember when you (were) few (and) deemed weak in the earth fearing that might do away with you the men then He sheltered you and strengthened you with His help and provided you of the good things so that you may (be) thankful
Transliteration
Wa Adhkurū 'Idh 'Antum Qalīlun Mustađ`afūna Fī Al-'Arđi Takhāfūna 'An Yatakhaţţafakumu An-Nāsu Fa'āwākum Wa 'Ayyadakum Binaşrihi Wa Razaqakum Mina Aţ-Ţayyibāti La`allakum Tashkurūna
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَخُونُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوا أَمَانَاتِكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ 27
Translation
O you who believe (Do) not betray Allah and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Takhūnū Allāha Wa Ar-Rasūla Wa Takhūnū 'Amānātikum Wa 'Antum Ta`lamūna
وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلَادُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ عِنْدَهُ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ 28
Translation
And know that your wealth and your children (are) a trial And that Allah - with Him (is) a reward great
Transliteration
Wa A`lamū 'Annamā 'Amwālukum Wa 'Awlādukum Fitnatun Wa 'Anna Allāha `Indahu 'Ajrun `Ažīmun
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِنْ تَتَّقُوا اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَكُمْ فُرْقَانًا وَيُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ 29
Translation
O you who believe If you fear Allah He will grant you a criterion and will remove from you your evil deeds and forgive you And Allah (is) the Possessor (of) Bounty the Great
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'In Tattaqū Allāha Yaj`al Lakum Furqānāan Wa Yukaffir `Ankum Sayyi'ātikum Wa Yaghfir Lakum Wa Allāhu Dhū Al-Fađli Al-`Ažīmi
وَإِذْ يَمْكُرُ بِكَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِيُثْبِتُوكَ أَوْ يَقْتُلُوكَ أَوْ يُخْرِجُوكَ ۚ وَيَمْكُرُونَ وَيَمْكُرُ اللَّهُ ۖ وَاللَّهُ خَيْرُ الْمَاكِرِينَ 30
Translation
And when plotted against you those who disbelieved that they restrain you or kill you or drive you out And they were planning and (also) was planning Allah And Allah is (the) Best (of) the Planners
Transliteration
Wa 'Idh Yamkuru Bika Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Liyuthbitūka 'Aw Yaqtulūka 'Aw Yukhrijūka Wa Yamkurūna Wa Yamkuru Allāhu Wa Allāhu Khayru Al-Mākirīna
وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتُنَا قَالُوا قَدْ سَمِعْنَا لَوْ نَشَاءُ لَقُلْنَا مِثْلَ هَٰذَا ۙ إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ 31
Translation
And when are recited to them Our Verses they say Verily we have heard if we wish surely, we could say like this Not is this but tales (of) the former (people)
Transliteration
Wa 'Idhā Tutlá `Alayhim 'Āyātunā Qālū Qad Sami`nā Law Nashā'u Laqulnā Mithla Hādhā 'In Hādhā 'Illā 'Asāţīru Al-'Awwalīna
وَإِذْ قَالُوا اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كَانَ هَٰذَا هُوَ الْحَقَّ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ فَأَمْطِرْ عَلَيْنَا حِجَارَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَوِ ائْتِنَا بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ 32
Translation
And when they said O Allah If was this [it] the truth [of] from You then (send) rain upon us (of) stones from the sky or bring (upon) us a punishment painful
Transliteration
Wa 'Idh Qālū Al-Lahumma 'In Kāna Hādhā Huwa Al-Ĥaqqa Min `Indika Fa'amţir `Alaynā Ĥijāratan Mina As-Samā'i 'Aw A'tinā Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin
وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنْتَ فِيهِمْ ۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ 33
Translation
But not is (for) Allah that He punishes them while you (are) among them and not is Allah the One Who punishes them while they seek forgiveness
Transliteration
Wa Mā Kāna Allāhu Liyu`adhdhibahum Wa 'Anta Fīhim Wa Mā Kāna Allāhu Mu`adhdhibahum Wa Hum Yastaghfirūna
وَمَا لَهُمْ أَلَّا يُعَذِّبَهُمُ اللَّهُ وَهُمْ يَصُدُّونَ عَنِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَمَا كَانُوا أَوْلِيَاءَهُ ۚ إِنْ أَوْلِيَاؤُهُ إِلَّا الْمُتَّقُونَ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ 34
Translation
But what (is) for them that not (should) punish them Allah while they hinder (people) from Al-Masjid Al-Haraam while not they are its guardians Not (can be) its guardians except the ones who fear Allah but most of them (do) not know
Transliteration
Wa Mā Lahum 'Allā Yu`adhdhibahumu Allāhu Wa Hum Yaşuddūna `Ani Al-Masjidi Al-Ĥarāmi Wa Mā Kānū 'Awliyā'ahu 'In 'Awliyā'uuhu 'Illā Al-Muttaqūna Wa Lakinna 'Aktharahum Lā Ya`lamūna
وَمَا كَانَ صَلَاتُهُمْ عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ إِلَّا مُكَاءً وَتَصْدِيَةً ۚ فَذُوقُوا الْعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ 35
Translation
And not was their prayer at the House except whistling and clapping So taste the punishment because you used to disbelieve
Transliteration
Wa Mā Kāna Şalātuhum `Inda Al-Bayti 'Illā Mukā'an Wa Taşdiyatan Fadhūqū Al-`Adhāba Bimā Kuntum Takfurūna
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُنْفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ لِيَصُدُّوا عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ فَسَيُنْفِقُونَهَا ثُمَّ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسْرَةً ثُمَّ يُغْلَبُونَ ۗ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ يُحْشَرُونَ 36
Translation
Indeed those who disbelieve they spend their wealth to hinder (people) from (the) way (of) Allah So they will spend it then it will be for them a regret then they will be overcome And those who disbelieve to Hell they will be gathered
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yunfiqūna 'Amwālahum Liyaşuddū `An Sabīli Allāhi Fasayunfiqūnahā Thumma Takūnu `Alayhim Ĥasratan Thumma Yughlabūna Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū 'Ilá Jahannama Yuĥsharūna
لِيَمِيزَ اللَّهُ الْخَبِيثَ مِنَ الطَّيِّبِ وَيَجْعَلَ الْخَبِيثَ بَعْضَهُ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ فَيَرْكُمَهُ جَمِيعًا فَيَجْعَلَهُ فِي جَهَنَّمَ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ 37
Translation
That may distinguish Allah the wicked from the good and place the wicked some of them on others and heap them all together and put them in Hell Those they (are) the losers
Transliteration
Liyamīza Allāhu Al-Khabītha Mina Aţ-Ţayyibi Wa Yaj`ala Al-Khabītha Ba`đahu `Alá Ba`đin Fayarkumahu Jamī`āan Fayaj`alahu Fī Jahannama 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Khāsirūna
قُلْ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا إِنْ يَنْتَهُوا يُغْفَرْ لَهُمْ مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ وَإِنْ يَعُودُوا فَقَدْ مَضَتْ سُنَّتُ الْأَوَّلِينَ 38
Translation
Say to those who disbelieve if they cease will be forgiven for them what [verily] (is) past But if they return then verily preceded (the) practice (of) the former (people)
Transliteration
Qul Lilladhīna Kafarū 'In Yantahū Yughfar Lahum Mā Qad Salafa Wa 'In Ya`ūdū Faqad Mađat Sunnatu Al-'Awwalīna
وَقَاتِلُوهُمْ حَتَّىٰ لَا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ وَيَكُونَ الدِّينُ كُلُّهُ لِلَّهِ ۚ فَإِنِ انْتَهَوْا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ 39
Translation
And fight them until not there is oppression and is the religion all of it for Allah But if they ceased then indeed Allah of what they do (is) All-Seer
Transliteration
Wa Qātilūhum Ĥattá Lā Takūna Fitnatun Wa Yakūna Ad-Dīnu Kulluhu Lillāhi Fa'ini Antahaw Fa'inna Allāha Bimā Ya`malūna Başīrun
وَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ مَوْلَاكُمْ ۚ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَىٰ وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ 40
Translation
And if they turn away then know that Allah (is) your Protector Excellent (is) the Protector and Excellent (is) the Helper
Transliteration
Wa 'In Tawallaw Fā`lamū 'Anna Allāha Mawlākum Ni`ma Al-Mawlá Wa Ni`ma An-Naşīru
۞ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّمَا غَنِمْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَأَنَّ لِلَّهِ خُمُسَهُ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِي الْقُرْبَىٰ وَالْيَتَامَىٰ وَالْمَسَاكِينِ وَابْنِ السَّبِيلِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ آمَنْتُمْ بِاللَّهِ وَمَا أَنْزَلْنَا عَلَىٰ عَبْدِنَا يَوْمَ الْفُرْقَانِ يَوْمَ الْتَقَى الْجَمْعَانِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ 41
Translation
And know that what you obtain (as) spoils of war of anything then that for Allah (is) one fifth of it and for the Messenger and for the near relatives and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer if you believe in Allah and (in) what We sent down to Our slave (on the) day (of) the criterion (the) day (when) met the two forces And Allah (is) on every thing All-Powerful
Transliteration
Wa A`lamū 'Annamā Ghanimtum Min Shay'in Fa'anna Lillāhi Khumusahu Wa Lilrrasūli Wa Lidhī Al-Qurbá Wa Al-Yatāmá Wa Al-Masākīni Wa Abni As-Sabīli 'In Kuntum 'Āmantum Billāhi Wa Mā 'Anzalnā `Alá `Abdinā Yawma Al-Furqāni Yawma At-Taqá Al-Jam`āni Wa Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Qadīrun
إِذْ أَنْتُمْ بِالْعُدْوَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَهُمْ بِالْعُدْوَةِ الْقُصْوَىٰ وَالرَّكْبُ أَسْفَلَ مِنْكُمْ ۚ وَلَوْ تَوَاعَدْتُمْ لَاخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الْمِيعَادِ ۙ وَلَٰكِنْ لِيَقْضِيَ اللَّهُ أَمْرًا كَانَ مَفْعُولًا لِيَهْلِكَ مَنْ هَلَكَ عَنْ بَيِّنَةٍ وَيَحْيَىٰ مَنْ حَيَّ عَنْ بَيِّنَةٍ ۗ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَسَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ 42
Translation
When you (were) on side of the valley the nearer and they (were) on the side the farther and the caravan (was) lower than you And if you (had) made an appointment certainly you would have failed in the appointment But that might accomplish Allah a matter (that) was destined that (might be) destroyed (those) who (were to be) destroyed on a clear evidence and (might) live (those) who (were to) live on a clear evidence And indeed Allah (is) All-Hearing All-Knowing
Transliteration
'Idh 'Antum Bil-`Udwati Ad-Dunyā Wa Hum Bil-`Udwati Al-Quşwá Wa Ar-Rakbu 'Asfala Minkum Wa Law Tawā`adttum Lākhtalaftum Fī Al-Mī`ādi Wa Lakin Liyaqđiya Allāhu 'Amrāan Kāna Maf`ūlāan Liyahlika Man Halaka `An Bayyinatin Wa Yaĥyá Man Ĥayya `An Bayyinatin Wa 'Inna Allāha Lasamī`un `Alīmun
إِذْ يُرِيكَهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي مَنَامِكَ قَلِيلًا ۖ وَلَوْ أَرَاكَهُمْ كَثِيرًا لَفَشِلْتُمْ وَلَتَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ سَلَّمَ ۗ إِنَّهُ عَلِيمٌ بِذَاتِ الصُّدُورِ 43
Translation
When you (where) shown them (by) Allah in your dream (as) few and if He had shown them to you (as) many surely you would have lost courage and surely you would have disputed in the matter but Allah saved (you) Indeed, He (is) All-Knower of what is in the breasts
Transliteration
'Idh Yurīkahumu Allāhu Fī Manāmika Qalīlāan Wa Law 'Arākahum Kathīrāan Lafashiltum Wa Latanāza`tum Fī Al-'Amri Wa Lakinna Allāha Sallama 'Innahu `Alīmun Bidhāti Aş-Şudūri
وَإِذْ يُرِيكُمُوهُمْ إِذِ الْتَقَيْتُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِكُمْ قَلِيلًا وَيُقَلِّلُكُمْ فِي أَعْيُنِهِمْ لِيَقْضِيَ اللَّهُ أَمْرًا كَانَ مَفْعُولًا ۗ وَإِلَى اللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ الْأُمُورُ 44
Translation
And when He showed them to you when you met in your eyes (as) few and He made you (appear) as few in their eyes that might accomplish Allah might accomplish a matter (that) was (already) destined And to Allah return (all) the matters
Transliteration
Wa 'Idh Yurīkumūhum 'Idhi At-Taqaytum Fī 'A`yunikum Qalīlāan Wa Yuqallilukum Fī 'A`yunihim Liyaqđiya Allāhu 'Amrāan Kāna Maf`ūlāan Wa 'Ilá Allāhi Turja`u Al-'Umūru
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا إِذَا لَقِيتُمْ فِئَةً فَاثْبُتُوا وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ كَثِيرًا لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ 45
Translation
O you who believe When you meet a force then be firm and remember Allah much so that you may (be) successful
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū 'Idhā Laqītum Fi'atan Fāthbutū Wa Adhkurū Allāha Kathīrāan La`allakum Tufliĥūna
وَأَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَلَا تَنَازَعُوا فَتَفْشَلُوا وَتَذْهَبَ رِيحُكُمْ ۖ وَاصْبِرُوا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ 46
Translation
And obey Allah and His Messenger and (do) not dispute lest you lose courage and (would) depart your strength and be patient Indeed Allah (is) with the patient ones
Transliteration
Wa 'Aţī`ū Allāha Wa Rasūlahu Wa Lā Tanāza`ū Fatafshalū Wa Tadh/haba Rīĥukum Wa Aşbirū 'Inna Allāha Ma`a Aş-Şābirīna
وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ خَرَجُوا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بَطَرًا وَرِئَاءَ النَّاسِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَنْ سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ مُحِيطٌ 47
Translation
And (do) not be like those who came forth from their homes boastfully and showing off (to) the people and hinder (them) from (the) way (of) Allah And Allah of what they do (is) All-Encompassing
Transliteration
Wa Lā Takūnū Kālladhīna Kharajū Min Diyārihim Baţarāan Wa Ri'ā'a An-Nāsi Wa Yaşuddūna `An Sabīli Allāhi Wa Allāhu Bimā Ya`malūna Muĥīţun
وَإِذْ زَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ وَقَالَ لَا غَالِبَ لَكُمُ الْيَوْمَ مِنَ النَّاسِ وَإِنِّي جَارٌ لَكُمْ ۖ فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَتِ الْفِئَتَانِ نَكَصَ عَلَىٰ عَقِبَيْهِ وَقَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِنْكُمْ إِنِّي أَرَىٰ مَا لَا تَرَوْنَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ اللَّهَ ۚ وَاللَّهُ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ 48
Translation
And when made fair-seeming to them the Shaitaan their deeds and he said No (one) (can) overcome [to] you today from the people and indeed, I am a neighbor for you But when came in sight the two forces he turned away on his heels and said Indeed, I am free of you Indeed, I see what not you see indeed, I [I] fear Allah And Allah (is) severe (in) the penalty
Transliteration
Wa 'Idh Zayyana Lahumu Ash-Shayţānu 'A`mālahum Wa Qāla Lā Ghāliba Lakumu Al-Yawma Mina An-Nāsi Wa 'Innī Jārun Lakum Falammā Tarā'ati Al-Fi'atāni Nakaşa `Alá `Aqibayhi Wa Qāla 'Innī Barī'un Minkum 'Innī 'Ará Mā Lā Tarawna 'Inniyi 'Akhāfu Allāha Wa Allāhu Shadīdu Al-`Iqābi
إِذْ يَقُولُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ وَالَّذِينَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ مَرَضٌ غَرَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ دِينُهُمْ ۖ وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ 49
Translation
When said the hypocrites and those who - in their hearts (was) a disease (Had) deluded these (people) their religion But whoever puts (his) trust in Allah then indeed Allah (is) All-Mighty All-Wise
Transliteration
'Idh Yaqūlu Al-Munāfiqūna Wa Al-Ladhīna Fī Qulūbihim Marađun Gharra Hā'uulā' Dīnuhum Wa Man Yatawakkal `Alá Allāhi Fa'inna Allāha `Azīzun Ĥakīmun
وَلَوْ تَرَىٰ إِذْ يَتَوَفَّى الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ۙ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَارَهُمْ وَذُوقُوا عَذَابَ الْحَرِيقِ 50
Translation
And if you (could) see when take away souls (of) those who disbelieve the Angels striking their faces and their backs Taste (the) punishment (of) the Blazing Fire
Transliteration
Wa Law Tará 'Idh Yatawaffá Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Al-Malā'ikatu Yađribūna Wujūhahum Wa 'Adbārahum Wa Dhūqū `Adhāba Al-Ĥarīqi
ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّامٍ لِلْعَبِيدِ 51
Translation
That (is) for what sent forth your hands And indeed Allah (is) not unjust to His slaves
Transliteration
Dhālika Bimā Qaddamat 'Aydīkum Wa 'Anna Allāha Laysa Bižallāmin Lil`abīdi
كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَفَرُوا بِآيَاتِ اللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ 52
Translation
Like (the) way (of) people (of) Firaun and those who (were) from before them They disbelieved in (the) Signs (of) Allah so seized them Allah for their sins Indeed Allah (is) All-Strong (and) severe (in) the penalty
Transliteration
KKada'bi 'Āli Fir`awna Wa Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Kafarū Bi'āyāti Allāhi Fa'akhadhahumu Allāhu Bidhunūbihim 'Inna Allāha Qawīyun Shadīdu Al-`Iqābi
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَكُ مُغَيِّرًا نِعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ۙ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ 53
Translation
That (is) because Allah not is One Who changes a favor which He had bestowed on a people until they change what (is) in themselves And indeed Allah (is) All-Hearing All-Knowing
Transliteration
Dhālika Bi'anna Allāha Lam Yaku Mughayyirāan Ni`matan 'An`amahā `Alá Qawmin Ĥattá Yughayyirū Mā Bi'anfusihim Wa 'Anna Allāha Samī`un `Alīmun
كَدَأْبِ آلِ فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ وَالَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آلَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ وَكُلٌّ كَانُوا ظَالِمِينَ 54
Translation
Like (the) way (of) people (of) Firaun and those who (were) from before them They denied (the) Signs (of) their Lord so We destroyed them for their sins and We drowned (the) people (of) Firaun and (they) all were wrongdoers
Transliteration
KKada'bi 'Āli Fir`awna Wa Al-Ladhīna Min Qablihim Kadhdhabū Bi'āyāti Rabbihim Fa'ahlaknāhum Bidhunūbihim Wa 'Aghraqnā 'Āla Fir`awna Wa Kullun Kānū Žālimīna
إِنَّ شَرَّ الدَّوَابِّ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ 55
Translation
Indeed (the) worst (of) the living creatures near Allah (are) those who disbelieve and they (will) not believe
Transliteration
'Inna Sharra Ad-Dawābbi `Inda Allāhi Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fahum Lā Yu'uminūna
الَّذِينَ عَاهَدْتَ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ يَنْقُضُونَ عَهْدَهُمْ فِي كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يَتَّقُونَ 56
Translation
Those who you made a covenant with them then they break their covenant [in] every time and they (do) not fear (Allah)
Transliteration
Al-Ladhīna `Āhadta Minhum Thumma Yanquđūna `Ahdahum Fī Kulli Marratin Wa Hum Lā Yattaqūna
فَإِمَّا تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ فِي الْحَرْبِ فَشَرِّدْ بِهِمْ مَنْ خَلْفَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ 57
Translation
So if you gain dominance over them in the war disperse by them (those) who (are) behind them so that they may take heed
Transliteration
Fa'immā Tathqafannahum Fī Al-Ĥarbi Fasharrid Bihim Man Khalfahum La`allahum Yadhdhakkarūna
وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِنْ قَوْمٍ خِيَانَةً فَانْبِذْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَاءٍ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْخَائِنِينَ 58
Translation
And if you fear from a people betrayal throw back to them on equal (terms) Indeed Allah (does) not love the traitors
Transliteration
Wa 'Immā Takhāfanna Min Qawmin Khiyānatan Fānbidh 'Ilayhim `Alá Sawā'in 'Inna Allāha Lā Yuĥibbu Al-Khā'inīna
وَلَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا سَبَقُوا ۚ إِنَّهُمْ لَا يُعْجِزُونَ 59
Translation
And (let) not think those who disbelieve they can outstrip Indeed they (can) not escape
Transliteration
Wa Lā Yaĥsabanna Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Sabaqū 'Innahum Lā Yu`jizūna
وَأَعِدُّوا لَهُمْ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَمِنْ رِبَاطِ الْخَيْلِ تُرْهِبُونَ بِهِ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ وَعَدُوَّكُمْ وَآخَرِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَهُمُ اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُهُمْ ۚ وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ شَيْءٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكُمْ وَأَنْتُمْ لَا تُظْلَمُونَ 60
Translation
And prepare for them whatever you able (to) of force and of tethered horses (to) terrify therewith (the) enemy (the) enemy and your enemy and others from besides them not (do) you know them (but) Allah knows them And whatever you spend from (any) thing in (the) way (of) Allah it will be fully repaid to you and you (will) not be wronged
Transliteration
Wa 'A`iddū Lahum Mā Astaţa`tum Min Qūwatin Wa Min Ribāţi Al-Khayli Turhibūna Bihi `Adūwa Allāhi Wa `Adūwakum Wa 'Ākharīna Min Dūnihim Lā Ta`lamūnahumu Allāhu Ya`lamuhum Wa Mā Tunfiqū Min Shay'in Fī Sabīli Allāhi Yuwaffa 'Ilaykum Wa 'Antum Lā Tužlamūna
۞ وَإِنْ جَنَحُوا لِلسَّلْمِ فَاجْنَحْ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ 61
Translation
And if they incline to peace then you (also) incline to it and put (your) trust in Allah Indeed He (is) All-Hearer All-Knower
Transliteration
Wa 'In Janaĥū Lilssalmi Fājnaĥ Lahā Wa Tawakkal `Alá Allāhi 'Innahu Huwa As-Samī`u Al-`Alīmu
وَإِنْ يُرِيدُوا أَنْ يَخْدَعُوكَ فَإِنَّ حَسْبَكَ اللَّهُ ۚ هُوَ الَّذِي أَيَّدَكَ بِنَصْرِهِ وَبِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ 62
Translation
But if they intend to deceive you then indeed is sufficient for you Allah He (is) the One Who supported you with His help and with the believers
Transliteration
Wa 'In Yurīdū 'An Yakhda`ūka Fa'inna Ĥasbaka Allāhu Huwa Al-Ladhī 'Ayyadaka Binaşrihi Wa Bil-Mu'uminīna
وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ لَوْ أَنْفَقْتَ مَا فِي الْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مَا أَلَّفْتَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَٰكِنَّ اللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ 63
Translation
And He (has) put affection between their hearts If you (had) spent whatever (is) in the earth all not (could) you (have) put affection between their hearts but Allah (has) put affection between them Indeed, He (is) All-Mighty All-Wise
Transliteration
Wa 'Allafa Bayna Qulūbihim Law 'Anfaqta Mā Fī Al-'Arđi Jamī`āan Mā 'Allafta Bayna Qulūbihim Wa Lakinna Allāha 'Allafa Baynahum 'Innahu `Azīzun Ĥakīmun
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَسْبُكَ اللَّهُ وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ 64
Translation
O Prophet Sufficient for you (is) Allah and whoever follows you of the believers
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā An-Nabīyu Ĥasbuka Allāhu Wa Mani Attaba`aka Mina Al-Mu'uminīna
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ حَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ ۚ إِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ عِشْرُونَ صَابِرُونَ يَغْلِبُوا مِائَتَيْنِ ۚ وَإِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ مِائَةٌ يَغْلِبُوا أَلْفًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ 65
Translation
O Prophet Urge the believers to [the] fight If (there) are among you twenty steadfast they will overcome two hundred And if (there) are among you a hundred they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve because they (are) a people (who do) not understand
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā An-Nabīyu Ĥarriđi Al-Mu'uminīna `Alá Al-Qitāli 'In Yakun Minkum `Ishrūna Şābirūna Yaghlibū Miā'atayni Wa 'In Yakun Minkum Miā'atun Yaghlibū 'Alfāan Mina Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Bi'annahum Qawmun Lā Yafqahūna
الْآنَ خَفَّفَ اللَّهُ عَنْكُمْ وَعَلِمَ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ ضَعْفًا ۚ فَإِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ مِائَةٌ صَابِرَةٌ يَغْلِبُوا مِائَتَيْنِ ۚ وَإِنْ يَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أَلْفٌ يَغْلِبُوا أَلْفَيْنِ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ مَعَ الصَّابِرِينَ 66
Translation
Now has (been) lightened (by) Allah for you and He knows that in you (there) is weakness So if (there) are among you a hundred steadfast they will overcome two hundred And if (there) are among you a thousand they will overcome two thousand with (the) permission (of) Allah And Allah (is) with the steadfast
Transliteration
AAl-'Āna Khaffafa Allāhu `Ankum Wa `Alima 'Anna Fīkum Đa`fāan Fa'in Yakun Minkum Miā'atun Şābiratun Yaghlibū Miā'atayni Wa 'In Yakun Minkum 'Alfun Yaghlibū 'Alfayni Bi'idhni Allāhi Wa Allāhu Ma`a Aş-Şābirīna
مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ أَسْرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثْخِنَ فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ الدُّنْيَا وَاللَّهُ يُرِيدُ الْآخِرَةَ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ 67
Translation
Not is for a Prophet that (there) should be for him prisoners of war until he has battled strenuously in the land You desire (the) commodities (of) the world but Allah desires (for you) the Hereafter And Allah (is) All-Mighty All-Wise
Transliteration
Mā Kāna Linabīyin 'An Yakūna Lahu 'Asrá Ĥattá Yuthkhina Fī Al-'Arđi Turīdūna `Arađa Ad-Dunyā Wa Allāhu Yurīdu Al-'Ākhirata Wa Allāhu `Azīzun Ĥakīmun
لَوْلَا كِتَابٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ سَبَقَ لَمَسَّكُمْ فِيمَا أَخَذْتُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ 68
Translation
Had not an ordainment from Allah preceded surely (would) have touched you for what you took a punishment great
Transliteration
Lawlā Kitābun Mina Allāhi Sabaqa Lamassakum Fīmā 'Akhadhtum `Adhābun `Ažīmun
فَكُلُوا مِمَّا غَنِمْتُمْ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ 69
Translation
So eat from what you got as war booty - lawful (and) good and fear Allah Indeed Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful
Transliteration
Fakulū Mimmā Ghanimtum Ĥalālāan Ţayyibāan Wa Attaqū Allāha 'Inna Allāha Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ قُلْ لِمَنْ فِي أَيْدِيكُمْ مِنَ الْأَسْرَىٰ إِنْ يَعْلَمِ اللَّهُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ خَيْرًا يُؤْتِكُمْ خَيْرًا مِمَّا أُخِذَ مِنْكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ 70
Translation
O Prophet Say to whoever (is) in your hands of the captives If knows Allah in your hearts any good He will give you better than what was taken from you and He will forgive you And Allah (is) Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā An-Nabīyu Qul Liman Fī 'Aydīkum Mina Al-'Asrá 'In Ya`lami Allāhu Fī Qulūbikum Khayrāan Yu'utikum Khayrāan Mimmā 'Ukhidha Minkum Wa Yaghfir Lakum Wa Allāhu Ghafūrun Raĥīmun
وَإِنْ يُرِيدُوا خِيَانَتَكَ فَقَدْ خَانُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَأَمْكَنَ مِنْهُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ 71
Translation
But if they intend (to) betray you certainly they have betrayed Allah from before So He gave (you) power over them And Allah (is) All-Knower All-Wise
Transliteration
Wa 'In Yurīdū Khiyānataka Faqad Khānū Allāha Min Qablu Fa'amkana Minhum Wa Allāhu `Alīmun Ĥakīmun
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آوَوْا وَنَصَرُوا أُولَٰئِكَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَلَمْ يُهَاجِرُوا مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ وَلَايَتِهِمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ حَتَّىٰ يُهَاجِرُوا ۚ وَإِنِ اسْتَنْصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ ۗ وَاللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ 72
Translation
Indeed those who believed and emigrated and strove hard with their wealth and their lives in (the) way (of) Allah and those who gave shelter and helped those some of them (are) allies (of) another But those who believed and (did) not emigrate (it is) not for you (of) their protection (in) (in) anything until they emigrate And if they seek your help in the religion then upon you (is to) help them except against a people between you and between them (is) a treaty And Allah of what you do (is) All-Seer
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Hājarū Wa Jāhadū Bi'amwālihim Wa 'Anfusihim Fī Sabīli Allāhi Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āwaw Wa Naşarū 'Ūlā'ika Ba`đuhum 'Awliyā'u Ba`đin Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Lam Yuhājarū Mā Lakum Min Walāyatihim Min Shay'in Ĥattá Yuhājirū Wa 'Ini Astanşarūkum Fī Ad-Dīni Fa`alaykumu An-Naşru 'Illā `Alá Qawmin Baynakum Wa Baynahum Mīthāqun Wa Allāhu Bimā Ta`malūna Başīrun
وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ ۚ إِلَّا تَفْعَلُوهُ تَكُنْ فِتْنَةٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَفَسَادٌ كَبِيرٌ 73
Translation
And those who disbelieve some of them (are) allies (to) another If not you do it (there) will be oppression in the earth and corruption great
Transliteration
Wa Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Ba`đuhum 'Awliyā'u Ba`đin 'Illā Taf`alūhu Takun Fitnatun Fī Al-'Arđi Wa Fasādun Kabīrun
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَالَّذِينَ آوَوْا وَنَصَرُوا أُولَٰئِكَ هُمُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ حَقًّا ۚ لَهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ 74
Translation
And those who believed and emigrated and strove hard in (the) way (of) Allah and those who gave shelter and helped those - they (are) the believers (in) truth For them (is) forgiveness and a provision noble
Transliteration
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa Hājarū Wa Jāhadū Fī Sabīli Allāhi Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āwaw Wa Naşarū 'Ūlā'ika Humu Al-Mu'uminūna Ĥaqqāan Lahum Maghfiratun Wa Rizqun Karīmun
وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا مِنْ بَعْدُ وَهَاجَرُوا وَجَاهَدُوا مَعَكُمْ فَأُولَٰئِكَ مِنْكُمْ ۚ وَأُولُو الْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِبَعْضٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ 75
Translation
And those who believed from afterwards and emigrated and strove hard with you then those (are) of you But those (of) blood relationship some of them (are) nearer to another in (the) Book (of) Allah Indeed Allah of every thing (is) All-Knower
Transliteration
Wa Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Min Ba`du Wa Hājarū Wa Jāhadū Ma`akum Fa'ūlā'ika Minkum Wa 'Ūlū Al-'Arĥāmi Ba`đuhum 'Awlá Biba`đin Fī Kitābi Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Bikulli Shay'in `Alīmun
