Al-'Inshiqāq The Sundering

﷽
إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ 1 
Translation
When the sky is split asunder
Transliteration
'Idhā As-Samā'u Anshaqqat
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ 2 
Translation
And has listened to its Lord and was obligated
Transliteration
Wa 'Adhinat Lirabbihā Wa Ĥuqqat
وَإِذَا الْأَرْضُ مُدَّتْ 3 
Translation
And when the earth is spread
Transliteration
Wa 'Idhā Al-'Arđu Muddat
وَأَلْقَتْ مَا فِيهَا وَتَخَلَّتْ 4 
Translation
And has cast out what (is) in it and becomes empty
Transliteration
Wa 'Alqat Mā Fīhā Wa Takhallat
وَأَذِنَتْ لِرَبِّهَا وَحُقَّتْ 5 
Translation
And has listened to its Lord and was obligated
Transliteration
Wa 'Adhinat Lirabbihā Wa Ĥuqqat
يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ إِنَّكَ كَادِحٌ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ كَدْحًا فَمُلَاقِيهِ 6 
Translation
O mankind Indeed, you (are) laboring to your Lord (with) exertion and you (will) meet Him
Transliteration
YYā 'Ayyuhā Al-'Insānu 'Innaka Kādiĥun 'Ilá Rabbika Kadĥāan Famulāqīhi
فَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ بِيَمِينِهِ 7 
Translation
Then as for (him) who is given his record in his right hand
Transliteration
Fa'ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Biyamīnihi
فَسَوْفَ يُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا 8 
Translation
Soon his account will be taken an account easy
Transliteration
Fasawfa Yuĥāsabu Ĥisābāan Yasīrāan
وَيَنْقَلِبُ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا 9 
Translation
And he will return to his people happily
Transliteration
Wa Yanqalibu 'Ilá 'Ahlihi Masrūrāan
وَأَمَّا مَنْ أُوتِيَ كِتَابَهُ وَرَاءَ ظَهْرِهِ 10 
Translation
But as for (him) who is given his record behind his back
Transliteration
Wa 'Ammā Man 'Ūtiya Kitābahu Warā'a Žahrihi
فَسَوْفَ يَدْعُو ثُبُورًا 11 
Translation
Soon he will call (for) destruction
Transliteration
Fasawfa Yad`ū Thubūrāan
وَيَصْلَىٰ سَعِيرًا 12 
Translation
And he will burn (in) a Blaze
Transliteration
Wa Yaşlá Sa`īrāan
إِنَّهُ كَانَ فِي أَهْلِهِ مَسْرُورًا 13 
Translation
Indeed he had been among his people happy
Transliteration
'Innahu Kāna Fī 'Ahlihi Masrūrāan
إِنَّهُ ظَنَّ أَنْ لَنْ يَحُورَ 14 
Translation
Indeed he (had) thought that never he would return
Transliteration
'Innahu Žanna 'An Lan Yaĥūra
بَلَىٰ إِنَّ رَبَّهُ كَانَ بِهِ بَصِيرًا 15 
Translation
Nay! Indeed his Lord was of him seeing
Transliteration
Balá 'Inna Rabbahu Kāna Bihi Başīrāan
فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالشَّفَقِ 16 
Translation
But nay! I swear by the twilight glow
Transliteration
Falā 'Uqsimu Bish-Shafaqi
وَاللَّيْلِ وَمَا وَسَقَ 17 
Translation
And the night and what it envelops
Transliteration
WWa Al-Layli Wa Mā Wasaqa
وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا اتَّسَقَ 18 
Translation
And the moon when it becomes full
Transliteration
WWa Al-Qamari 'Idhā Attasaqa
لَتَرْكَبُنَّ طَبَقًا عَنْ طَبَقٍ 19 
Translation
You will surely embark (to) stage from stage
Transliteration
Latarkabunna Ţabaqāan `An Ţabaqin
فَمَا لَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ 20 
Translation
So what (is) for them not they believe
Transliteration
Famā Lahum Lā Yu'uminūna
وَإِذَا قُرِئَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْقُرْآنُ لَا يَسْجُدُونَ ۩ 21 
Translation
And when is recited to them the Quran not they prostrate
Transliteration
Wa 'Idhā Quri'a `Alayhimu Al-Qur'ānu Lā Yasjudūna
بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُكَذِّبُونَ 22 
Translation
Nay! Those who disbelieved deny
Transliteration
Bali Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Yukadhdhibūna
وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يُوعُونَ 23 
Translation
And Allah (is) most knowing of what they keep within themselves
Transliteration
Wa Allāhu 'A`lamu Bimā Yū`ūna
فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ 24 
Translation
So give them tidings of a punishment painful
Transliteration
FFabashshirhum Bi`adhābin 'Alīmin
إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ 25 
Translation
Except those who believe and do righteous deeds For them (is) a reward never ending
Transliteration
'Illā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum 'Ajrun Ghayru Mamnūnin
