Al-Burūj The Mansions of the Stars

﷽
وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ 1 
Translation
By the sky containing the constellations
Transliteration
WWa As-Samā'i Dhāti Al-Burūji
وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ 2 
Translation
And the Day Promised
Transliteration
WWa Al-Yawmi Al-Maw`ūdi
وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ 3 
Translation
And (the) witness and what is witnessed
Transliteration
Wa Shāhidin Wa Mash/hūdin
قُتِلَ أَصْحَابُ الْأُخْدُودِ 4 
Translation
Destroyed were (the) companions (of) the pit
Transliteration
Qutila 'Aşĥābu Al-'Ukhdūdi
النَّارِ ذَاتِ الْوَقُودِ 5 
Translation
(Of) the fire full (of) the fuel
Transliteration
An-Nāri Dhāti Al-Waqūdi
إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌ 6 
Translation
When they by it (were) sitting
Transliteration
'Idh Hum `Alayhā Qu`ūdun
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌ 7 
Translation
And they over what they were doing to the believers witnesses
Transliteration
Wa Hum `Alá Mā Yaf`alūna Bil-Mu'uminīna Shuhūdun
وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ 8 
Translation
And not they resented [of] them except that they believed in Allah the All-Mighty the Praiseworthy
Transliteration
Wa Mā Naqamū Minhum 'Illā 'An Yu'uminū Billāhi Al-`Azīzi Al-Ĥamīdi
الَّذِي لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيدٌ 9 
Translation
The One Who for Him (is) the dominion (of) the heavens and the earth; and Allah on every thing (is) a Witness
Transliteration
Al-Ladhī Lahu Mulku As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Allāhu `Alá Kulli Shay'in Shahīdun
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ 10 
Translation
Indeed those who persecuted the believing men and the believing women then not they repented then for them (is) the punishment (of) Hell and for them (is the) punishment (of) the Burning Fire
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna Fatanū Al-Mu'uminīna Wa Al-Mu'umināti Thumma Lam Yatūbū Falahum `Adhābu Jahannama Wa Lahum `Adhābu Al-Ĥarīqi
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ الْفَوْزُ الْكَبِيرُ 11 
Translation
Indeed those who believe and do the righteous deeds for them (will be) Gardens flow from underneath it the rivers That (is) the success the great
Transliteration
'Inna Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Wa `Amilū Aş-Şāliĥāti Lahum Jannātun Tajrī Min Taĥtihā Al-'Anhāru Dhālika Al-Fawzu Al-Kabīru
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ 12 
Translation
Indeed (the) Grip (of) your Lord (is) surely strong
Transliteration
'Inna Baţsha Rabbika Lashadīdun
إِنَّهُ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ 13 
Translation
Indeed He He originates and repeats
Transliteration
'Innahu Huwa Yubdi'u Wa Yu`īdu
وَهُوَ الْغَفُورُ الْوَدُودُ 14 
Translation
And He (is) the Oft-Forgiving the Most Loving
Transliteration
Wa Huwa Al-Ghafūru Al-Wadūdu
ذُو الْعَرْشِ الْمَجِيدُ 15 
Translation
Owner (of) the Throne the Glorious
Transliteration
Dhū Al-`Arshi Al-Majīdu
فَعَّالٌ لِمَا يُرِيدُ 16 
Translation
Doer of what He intends
Transliteration
FFa``ālun Limā Yurīdu
هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْجُنُودِ 17 
Translation
Has come to you (the) story (of) the hosts
Transliteration
Hal 'Atāka Ĥadīthu Al-Junūdi
فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ 18 
Translation
Firaun and Thamud
Transliteration
Fir`awna Wa Thamūda
بَلِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فِي تَكْذِيبٍ 19 
Translation
Nay! Those who disbelieve (are) in denial
Transliteration
Bali Al-Ladhīna Kafarū Fī Takdhībin
وَاللَّهُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ مُحِيطٌ 20 
Translation
But Allah from behind them encompasses
Transliteration
Wa Allāhu Min Warā'ihim Muĥīţun
بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَجِيدٌ 21 
Translation
Nay! It (is) a Quran Glorious
Transliteration
Bal Huwa Qur'ānun Majīdun
فِي لَوْحٍ مَحْفُوظٍ 22 
Translation
