Aţ-Ţāriq The Nightcommer

﷽
وَالسَّمَاءِ وَالطَّارِقِ 1 
Translation
By the sky and the night comer
Transliteration
WWa As-Samā'i Wa Aţ-Ţāriqi
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الطَّارِقُ 2 
Translation
And what can make you know what the night comer (is)
Transliteration
Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Aţ-Ţāriqu
النَّجْمُ الثَّاقِبُ 3 
Translation
(It is) the star the piercing!
Transliteration
An-Najmu Ath-Thāqibu
إِنْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ لَمَّا عَلَيْهَا حَافِظٌ 4 
Translation
Not (is) every soul but over it (is) a protector
Transliteration
'In Kullu Nafsin Lammā `Alayhā Ĥāfižun
فَلْيَنْظُرِ الْإِنْسَانُ مِمَّ خُلِقَ 5 
Translation
So let see man from what he is created
Transliteration
Falyanžuri Al-'Insānu Mimma Khuliqa
خُلِقَ مِنْ مَاءٍ دَافِقٍ 6 
Translation
He is created from a water ejected
Transliteration
Khuliqa Min Mā'in Dāfiqin
يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ 7 
Translation
Coming forth from between the backbone and the ribs
Transliteration
Yakhruju Min Bayni Aş-Şulbi Wa At-Tarā'ibi
إِنَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَجْعِهِ لَقَادِرٌ 8 
Translation
Indeed He to return him (is) Able
Transliteration
'Innahu `Alá Raj`ihi Laqādirun
يَوْمَ تُبْلَى السَّرَائِرُ 9 
Translation
(The) Day will be tested the secrets
Transliteration
Yawma Tublá As-Sarā'iru
فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ وَلَا نَاصِرٍ 10 
Translation
Then not (is) for him any power and not any helper
Transliteration
Famā Lahu Min Qūwatin Wa Lā Nāşirin
وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الرَّجْعِ 11 
Translation
By the sky which returns
Transliteration
WWa As-Samā'i Dhāti Ar-Raj`i
وَالْأَرْضِ ذَاتِ الصَّدْعِ 12 
Translation
And the earth which cracks open
Transliteration
WWa Al-'Arđi Dhāti Aş-Şad`i
إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلٌ فَصْلٌ 13 
Translation
Indeed it (is) surely a Word decisive
Transliteration
'Innahu Laqawlun Faşlun
وَمَا هُوَ بِالْهَزْلِ 14 
Translation
And not it (is) for amusement
Transliteration
Wa Mā Huwa Bil-Hazli
إِنَّهُمْ يَكِيدُونَ كَيْدًا 15 
Translation
Indeed they are plotting a plot
Transliteration
'Innahum Yakīdūna Kaydāan
وَأَكِيدُ كَيْدًا 16 
Translation
But I am planning a plan
Transliteration
Wa 'Akīdu Kaydāan
فَمَهِّلِ الْكَافِرِينَ أَمْهِلْهُمْ رُوَيْدًا 17 
Translation
So give respite (to) the disbelievers Give respite to them - little
